Do you consider location or price when you are seeking to buy property in Italy? Is location or price on your checklist? Do you sacrifice location for the price? We will be talking about location or price in today's video.
When selecting a property budget it is important to consider the location. It is a large investment, and it is an asset that is not liquid and you can not cash it out on the spot. Therefore, it is important to choose wisely and to make sure that the location ticks all the boxes before making a purchase. There is a strong correlation between price and location, and it is important to remember that you are getting what you pay for. In this video we explore why location is an important factor along with your budget especially if your are purchasing property in a foreign country sight unseen, and we will include our personal experience of buying property, and how to choose the right location with extensive thorough research and having the right team to assist you.

Why must there be so many choices? Can't I just have it all? Puglia and Tuscany (well, for me it would be Abruzzo) and location and price? I found a location and price combo that were perfect in Abruzzo but the agent that I contacted in that area could not go to view the property for over 10 days and the real estate agent sold it to someone else. Was it divine intervention? Fate telling me that it was not meant to be mine? At this point I may as well start reading tea leaves or gaze into a crystal ball to help me make a decision. My head says Abruzzo while my heart says Puglia. Your insight and sage advice are steering me in the right direction. You finally helped me to realize that the heart, and gut, should always be taken seriously. Abruzzo is very nice, but I think that Puglia is spectacular and unlike any other region of Italy. It's like Greece and Italy had a child together. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your guidance and experience. I look forward to more!
I totally agree with you why can't we have it all! and yes Puglia is the the child of Greece and Italy very well said. I have a soft spot for Greece and its history therefore Puglia was an easy choice in that respect. Our first couple of properties fell through but we didn't get disappointed we knew the Universe was working behind the scenes and when it was the right time it would all align. I do know someone in the Abruzzo area that may be able to help you if you still are inclined. I also look at where the next hot spot is so that I know the property investment is worthwhile. Getting in early before the wave rides up and opportunity is gone. Perhaps do a comparison that way if you're truly stuck. Puglia was the area and I feel it still not too late to get in. I would be interested in who you know in Abruzzo for assistance with properties. The one I contacted is not very responsive. My grandfather was born in Torre de'Passeri in Abruzzo so it is hard to give up on the region, despite what my heart says. I feel like I owe it to la mia famiglia. I do really like Atri with it's medieval feel, great park facing the sea, church with a replica of Bernini's baldacchino, and little theater. Thanks again for the information and invaluable insight!
