What i find remarkable about the KSK, other than their immense professionalism and proficiency, is how little is known about their work to the public. It is an open secret that the Force has had quite a lot of missions and engagements, but even in the political realm, not much is known. The Parliament only has to be informed about their missions every three months, the Chancellor isn’t the Commander in Chief, the Press gets information, but only through channels that make it impossible to publicize it. All of this makes sense for Special Forces, but in a way, its sad. The only time, the population as a whole gets to know anything about the KSK is through Nazi-Scandels. Those scandals are real, and not out of proportion, but the resulting discussions were ridiculous in parts. Some (opposition) politicians said that a Force like the KSK is no longer needed for Germany. That of course is absolute nonsense, but still…
As we Brits know from encounters in WW1 and WW2 German soldiers can and often are courageous and hard as nails. They can also be a very honourable enemy. Even Hitler didn't succeed in suppressing that entirely. As a Brit I would much rather have them as a friend than foe. Condolences to the family and friends of Hauptfeldwebel Daniel Wirth being a warrior can come at a high price not just for the warrior but for all those close to him too.

I never knew Germany had a Special Forces unit, I thought they only had GSG-9 due to various laws. That this KSK exists and they were out there kicking ass is baller as.
There are 3 variants of the KSK.
The KSK, Comand Special Forces(like the US Delta force) The KSM, Comand Special Forces of the Navy(like DEVGRU) and the Kampfretter, personnel recovery team( Like the quick reaction Force but in Germany they are part of the Special forces)
@@doctorkrieger4404 then they also have the EGB units, that are a tier 2 unit, but have seen a major upgrade in gear and capabilities in the last few years.
Yeah. Tier 1 and 2 is a US term and not a NATO term, so it is difficult to classify it
@@doctorkrieger4404 EGB are probably best compared to the Rangers.
@@Gurfi28 EGB stands for Advanced Basic Capability. These units are better equipped and trained than normal troops but not official SOF.
Your research is outstanding
Thank you Germany for being my ally.....🇺🇲🇩🇪✌️
"I want to hear the buzzing and roaring of the Bees. From the B-17's, B-24 Liberators, B-29's to the B-1B's and the B-2's."
- Michael Savage, 9/11/2001.
Absolute great vid as always. If you can any. Can you make one of the dutch KCT? Dont hear much about those guys.
There's an understood agreement in every countries military.....try and achieve the best possible training....I respect any soldier... serving any country...... it's not easy
This channel is so cool 😎
That of course is absolute nonsense, but still…
Sehr gut erklärt 👍
The Germans always have the best camo 🔥
As we Brits know from encounters in WW1 and WW2 German soldiers can and often are courageous and hard as nails. They can also be a very honourable enemy. Even Hitler didn't succeed in suppressing that entirely. As a Brit I would much rather have them as a friend than foe. Condolences to the family and friends of Hauptfeldwebel Daniel Wirth being a warrior can come at a high price not just for the warrior but for all those close to him too.
Wondering if you can do a video on Australian Special forces. Including the 2nd Commando Regiment and the SASR
rip daniel.. wherever you are brother...
The crazy thing about the KSK is that nobody knows anything about them
Nice video
THIS CHANNEL IS GOLD
Germans have always been strong soldiers just glad your are allies and not against us. 🇺🇸🇩🇪
Great video.
Hey you couldn't by chance do a video on the Korean War specifically the 29th Brigades defense of the Imjin River?
I'm definitely planning on covering several Korean war actions, including the stand of the 1 Gloucestershire Regiment along the Imjin River. I've also got the Battle of the Hook, involving the Duke of Wellington's, on my list 👍
@@livethforevermore awesome
Awesome channel.
Finally a new one let's gooooo (I know this must take a long time)
What a waste of life that war was.
The bankers loved it
People die everyday for less.
Fuckin love the videos, though sadly most of them make be tear up a bit at the end
Yeah same almost everytime
Hi! can you please make a video of Oplan Exodus Special Action Force? heroism of SAF 44
Fantastic video as always. Your doing Gods work here
Rest in peace hero
I love this channel
Can you do a video about the Karfreitagsgefecht in which German airborne troops were in an ambush.
There was footage from that ambush in this video as well.
Very good video, lad. Just a question, do you have a discord server for this channel? If no, I recommend you to create one so it will be easier with talking with you and giving feedback.
At min 5:20 it shows german Fallschirmjäger EGB. Its fottage from the "Karfreitagsgefecht". Its a sad day for the Bundeswehr and in my opinion a sad one for us as german citizen as well.
Ruhed in Frieden Kameraden!
Mögen sie in Ruhe Frieden 🎗
US, UK, and German SOF were the most important units in the Afghanistan war!
What you say keyboard warrior and the Dutch viper team in combo with the Germans .
@@raleeuw me the keyboard warrior was also in Kunduz for 6 months in 2013. so please dont judge me when you dont know me!
@@grindhard1 Oke iam sorry, but mine question was ,what about the Dutch SF ?
@@raleeuw I can tell you one situation where the KSK captured a compound during a operation Dutch SF cover them outside and make sure that no insurgent group from outside can come to help the insurgents in the compound. It’s similar like how US SF work, Delta or Devgru attack the compound to capture someone and the rangers safe the area outside. I hope now you understand the role of dutch SF in the most combats in Afghanistan
Navy SWCC got into a big firefight with farc guerrillas in colombia in the 90s. Would love to see a video on that.
The KSK and JW GROM,were professional operators in theatre..
Good to have Jerry as an ally for once.
Rip Daniel vallalha awaits
This needs a movie
I can imagine the screams, tension, all the go order for the planes to go
Till Valhalla Brother
The text at the end is so dam fast
I appreciate the pause in the commentary in order to let the freedom farts be heard in all their glory.
Bait.
No doubt.
Thank you for another fine video.
RIP very glad we left that country
american patriots grieve the loss of brave soldier daniel wirth fighting our common enemy.
Mega Geschichte.....
