I’ve had the Ruroc 1.0 and the wind noise was ridiculous... I even covered the vents with foam and tape to reduce the noise helped a bit but not much.... I’ve also owned the icon airflite and that was a great helmet over all.....
I recently bought an airflight and its a great helmet, however, size up if your head isn't narrow... it was almost painful to put this on and I sized up but have a round head. it was just the opening. so hopefully it will break in... otherwise I bought it for air flow... it is hot as the devils nuts here, and it does that well

Hey brother if you don't mind what kind of gloves are those that your sporting, looking for a new pair and those look nice and possibly do they work well
I rarely wear my sunglasses while I'm riding BUT I have spoken to and heard from people that do wear prescribed glasses, I haven't heard any feedback about uncomfortable pressure points or anything along those lines. If it is something you're interested in I strongly recommend reaching out to their customer support, as well as utilizing the return policy if worst case scenario happens. Hope this helped!
Hey man, what size air flight did you wear compared to ruroc? I wear a large air flight, but rurocs website says to self measure and the number I got for that lined up with a small. Curious what size you got and how the fit is compared to sizing of the air flight thanks!
I got a large in both! I personally am happy with the fit of both helmets in that size. The biggest complaint I hear is the actual shape of your head whether it's more long and oval, or circular which is always hard to judge. Nice part is you can always return/exchange the inner pads or the helmet in general. Hope this helps!

I looked at the sizing and saw that the large in the air flight vs the ruroc was the same dimensions but I heard the pads were thick so instead of just ordering large and calling it a day I measured my head and picked the small. I opened the box and I knew before I put it on I made a mistake! I got it on I could wear it if I absolutely had too but definitely need to up the size. Thanks for your input! I think I’ll be swapping mine for the large! Stay safe!
It's hard to say in a way that'll be helpful to you. I would take a piece of string and measure your head with it and compare it to the sizing chart Ruroc has just to be safe.
So I actually was speaking with a Ruroc Rep. The side vents actually don't work they're strictly for looks, the vent plugs stop flow for the vents on top of the helmet.

A $500 helmet (not including extras) with marks in the finish (friend of mine has sent it back twice), badly tightened visor mounts, and bad pad pins? They still need to up their QC game by the sound of it. But thank you for the first video I've seen where you actually ordered it, rather than getting it for free. Good to have an honest review.
No problem! I agree with all your points, as you saw on mine I had a blemish in my design but I just didn't want to wait another +2- months. For a "newer" company I give props but definitely still a lot of growing to do.
So I didn't notice a huge difference in wind noise before and after putting it on. If anything it made it a very very small amount quieter because of the speaker foam being closer to my ears. As for the fitting it wasn't the easiest to fit on because it doesn't sit flush on the helmet unless you use the 3M tape, I just don't trust tape at really high speeds.
@@mossimolaino3738 The ruroc is significantly louder, but not really in a bad way. The wind noise is higher, but you can also hear everything around you clearly.

So after reading through the manual I'm not seeing anything about being able to mute yourself directly, however there is an "audio multi-tasking" which will basically mute you until they speak. With that you can adjust the sensitivity of when it picks up your voice, 1 being the least sensitive 10 being the most. I saw on some forums that they're looking into doing a mute button (at least on phone calls) but haven't seen if that has actually been made yet.

I'm afraid it will not fit right on my head and cheeks, as i have watched some reviews, if my size is L i should be ordering an M so that if will fits well. Idk, im kinda like not like that fitting.
I just received my ruroc fear helmet. I too was afraid of sizing due to them being from the Uk. I measured around my head and came up with 57.5cm. Based on that they suggested a medium. The helmet came and I think it fits great!
That’s not what Pinlock is....you are talking about a visor lock. Pinlock is the insert on the visor to stop all fogging. Do some research before trying to put out bad info. Also the clasp is a Fidlock magnet clasp. Again, do some research. Fidlock is an independent brand that Ruroc used for the locking mechanism. The side vents on the Atlas 2.0 are closed. They were open on the 1.0 but the closed them because of wind noise, 2.0 side vents are strictly for looks. Dude, if your gonna put info out, at least visit the manufacturer website to get basic info
I appreciate the feedback, I know there were some mistakes in the video hindsight is 20/20 I'm human. I was new to the 2.0 at the time, the video is more so for a simple comparison between the 2 and my opinions. I appreciate correction where correction is due and will point people to your comment regarding any mistakes I made. Hey Dude, did you use the sticky pad, or the screw Pad for the sena Mount?
I used the screw pad, it doesn't sit flush like you could see but I trust screws more than adhesive!
How did you get the screws on? I own the same Sena and ruroc helmet bit u just cant get the screws to hold pls help

They're Ironclad Exo gloves, I love them. Been wearing them for close to a year and still have very little wear on them!

What’s the sizing difference in the rurac 2.0 and the icon airflite? I’m a m in the icon and I don’t really know what the get the rurac in

They got a Gift Pack in their Shop with Atlas/Berserker Vent Plugs are they for the Front Vents or side Vents ? Maybe they are for the Side Vents...
