Bro I don’t know what you’re talking about, you can speak better English than most people born in the USA lol. Nice short detailed video, I appreciate the info this helped me make a decision on whether to get it or not.
Many thanks for mentioning the ventilation. I have asthma and find breathing an issue in many helmets I have. Usually I need to ride with my visor up a click or two and remove the chin strip, not ideal. One reason id noticed these helmets was the shape for airflow
I am about getting my first helmet and this info for sure is important, thanks bro, and by the way you English is terrific, I wish I could speak the way you do, cheers!
Thanks a lot !!! Have fun with it. And dont forget, no fibretowels and no aggressive cleaner! Just lay down a wet papertowel on the visor and let it soak in for a coupple minutes... thats eneugh.
nice review - yea, i messed up my first Visor by using a 'Glass Cleaner' product to clean the visor - which did the same thing to mine - had to buy a new visor , now I just use Dawn soap and water! - thanks for the review.
@@maxgerrus1007 UG - so i tried 'Dawn' soap which is supposed to be super gentle - and now have rubbed off my new visor silver finish :( and ya cant find the replace ment visors anywhere!
@@NutshellsVLog well, my New Visor (Video) is still in perfect condition. Till now, i only used wet Papertowels, wich i layed on the Visor for 10-15 Minutes to let it soak in. Then just whipe it off...No chemicals and no fibretowels have been used at all.
To anyone that doesn't want to use soap and water, you can always use baby wipes. The ones that don't have harsh chemicals for your babies butt cheeks!
Yes cannot use glass cleaner on any helmet visor. Really cool helmet for the price. I use the peacekeeper (airflite family) as my budget/back up helmet. When I pair it with my causal leathers it is downright sexy and gets way more looks than my $1000 AGV helmet. As long as your not riding for more than 2 or 3 hrs I'd say the comfort is acceptable. As for motorcycle specific earplugs.. everyone should use that always. Even in my K6 and PistaRR I use the plugs, you only get 2 ears.
First of all, it is a great review! Don't know about the size issue. In my case it fitted perfectly so I didn't need to pick a bigger one. I can say that there is one side effect of a helmet that is too big - noise. Maybe your noise issue was caused by incorrect size? I travelled in this helmet for more than 10k km and I can't complain about the noise.
Baby Shampoo for helmets and bike wash Bro. The Best for it All Really. Cuts grease and mildew and won't hurt the delicate parts of everything. Also watch what kind of other plastics you lay against you helmet and shield for they can melt together. Good stuff Bro. I'll stay with the Sharks but was looking into a different lid.
I think im the only one who owns an icon airflite peacekeeper in the Philippines..my o my the attention i get..haha..and tip by the way, i just use baby oil to clean the visor..just drop a few,and then just wipe it evenly to spr3ad the oil, then wipe with another dry microfiber cloth till it shines like new
Yes, absolutely right. You should chose the next bigger size, as you normaly used to on other helmets. My standart size used to be allways XL. On this helmet now, it is XXL.
The new Visor is the "red" Version. The damaged one is "gold" an came with the helmet. If you'll buy, take special care for the Visor. Never use glasscleaner and fibretowels!! Normal water and a papertowel does the job pretty well. Just lay the wet papertowel on the Visor for a few minutes, then whipe it off.
It depends... if you've got the right sise, it should be comfortable at least for an hour or two... its all about the windnoises, if you can handle them, then you will be fine. If not- just use earplugs. Have fun with it :)
no Icon helmets for me....heavy, have weird shape and rip your ears off getting in and out, plus shell sizes are huge which sucks cuz i love the Ursa Major but pretty paint doesnt make up for the faults i do use their other gear though....gloves, jackets are solid for price i use glass cleaner on my HJC RPHA and it works great........shields are just plastic, if it had a special coating on it maybe not but most dont.....
I want my money back. Don’t buy. You are right. In other words this helmet sucks. Very very noisy. The air vent for the face seems to be open all the time, even when it’s closed. Chin curtain always fall off from sides. Definitely not a winter helmet. Pros. Looks good
Icon are the worst helemts ever, you pay for the design, because the shields is lower quality than a $80 helmet. I had the Icon Airform, worst purchase ever.
Your English is pretty good for a non-native speaker , thanks for the review
Thank you :)

Something someone had mentioned on another video, when you have the drop down shade up it blocks the top vents on the helmet
Yes, thats right. For me, its not a big deal. I didnt realised any big difference.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, just soap and water :) sometimes laying a wet towel for a couple of minutes over the visor helps a lot, too.

I’m not sure if any helmet in the world provides enough comfort to ride 3+ hours without airplugs.

Hello guys.
I have 56.5 centimeters in terms of circumference of my head. What size do you suggest me to go for?
Thanks...
I also have some questions about the size. I have heard many people say that it is very tight, so how should I choose the size?
