- Just as new updates are shaking up the Elden Ring Meta we're finding some hidden gems in the far corners of the Lands Between... This run is part of a challenge I'm doing to complete multiple different no-hit runs with weapons that my viewers request. I am trying to complete all 40 that have been requested before 2023. So far, 35 of 40 runs have been done in the last 6 weeks.

Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

It's insane to me how good people are at this game. Is it just I don't have enough time to play or am I really not good?
It really just comes down to practice. These people will play the game 100+ times so they know timings and mechanics down to the frame. I maybe have beaten the game like 3 times now, and while not at their level just a few run throughs alone has dramatically increased how little I get hit now
@@seanbarran yeah I've played about 50 hours since Sunday and I'm already a way better player. Im beating a lot of bosses first try now.
Why not both? I suck at this game but I still super love it lol
Update: I got good and beat the game and most of it's bosses. When in doubt just call in a golden buddy.

elden ring is my first too and ive been absorbed in it. I play it daily and watch it all the time the game is just so incredible. You should try a no summon level 1, no upgrading weapons build for some extra fun
Poise breaks on spears went nutty this patch plus the cannon ball hands are insane for it as well
Probably my favorite weapon in the game. I used it in my build for every boss after morgott (with the exception of the Fire Giant). Just a really cool weapon and looks great too.

i hope that in the dlc they add more aspects of the crucible incants, mainly wings and claw like we saw in the fight to get the greatsword

Also with power stanced greatswords, if you can land a full charge vortex then follow with a jump attack it’s almost a guaranteed stun. You can also follow up with another vortex and jump and can fully stunlock some bosses (like malenia though sometimes she’ll jump into waterfowl and wont be stunnable

It's amazing how chill you are during these fights. Some of the ER ppl swear every time they miss an attack. It's a real nice change of pace
@ginomachino have you thought of doing an NG plus no hit run with end of game weapons like Malikeths Black blade? That’s the weapon I want to see a run on

You make the game look so damn easy. I'm having so much trouble, but this is also my first Souls game and I'm still on my first playthrough (530 hours, I'm at the very end of the game pretty much.)

530 hours for one play through though? This was also my first souls game, my one character is like 430 hours but I’m on ng+7, also all remembrance bosses every ng & no summons past my first playthrough.
500+ hours on a single playthru is WILD. Cheers to getting into the series. I think it's time for some NG+ runs (:

@@EFDNora these days the game feels so short because I like the mid - endgame over the earlygame. I just sort of beat godrick, rennala, rykard and radahn then morgott without thought and I think… where did everything go. I think I’m coming up on my eleventh build soon aswell
i love these runs where every boss seems to be some kind of 2-3 shot cheese where you just destroy them. Then Godfrey is just a normal ass fight and he does it how id usually do it

You know... I fought those dual crucible knights for 2 hours last night and ended up leaving and going all the way to get mimic plus gathering ghost glovewort only to find that you can separate them at start by hugging the wall. Holy crap. I don't mind fighting crucible anymore but 2 @ once flummoxed me.
Ps this is my first souls type game. So I used a lot of summons at first but now I feel cheap if I use a summons.

I’m using the grafted dragon in one hand and the iron ball in other hand and it’s pretty good now the art on grafted dragon hits hard
Is crazy how much stagger this weapon does when fully charged, I dont know exactly the number, but it is at least 50 poise/stagger
Ngl the 2 crucible knight fight was one of my favs I wish I could play it over and over again

Played this in the background while grinding levels in demon's souls so I can wield the moonlight greatsword.
Ive been using banished knight greatsword on my first playtrough but i was thinking of using the ordovis greatsword next
also do you have any strategies for elden beasts' golden ball if you don't manage to skip it completely by stagger/etc? or do you just always test before a run to make sure you can do that proper with your build?

He listens to music on spotify in his streams, u can see on the bottom right the song that is playing, so he mutes the in game audio to not overlap with his musics. Oh and on the youtube u cant really hear the music, because he takes off from the vods so he doesnt get dmca on twitch

No hit run with Marais executioner’s sword? Maybe even make your pre-boss weapon regalia of Eochaid since you can get it fairly early according to the wiki?

Yooo GINO! What do you think about the Redmane and BeastJaw nerf?? Warranted? Beastjaw is my favorite weapon so I think it took a lot of the fun out of it
I think it was probably necessary but the redmane nerf was way too much. I would’ve brought it down to 30 poise damage instead of 10.
Can you do a run with Fallingstar beast jaw?
Q for Gino (or whoever knows): How do you always know where Elden Beast will spawn after the ring attack? Is it a visual cue of some sort or more meticulous scripting?
There's a little pointer at the outer edge of the ring that sticks out further than anything else and kind of shows you where EB will spawn.
At 34:43 you can see it to his left.

ASSASSIN'S GAMBIT??? How were you able to collect this AoW? To my knowledge and testing this can only be acquired by joining Volcano Manor and completing Tanith's first NPC invasion. I just tested killing Bernahl P1.08 and it did NOT drop and his bell bearing doesn't unlock it either. Please explain.
You have to join volcano manor and then his bell bearing will give it

It just for some more resistance so I don’t proc the madness on myself

How does the shackle breaking chariots work?
Since when could Margit's shackle destroy chariots?? That would have been so helpful for me on all those runs.

Doesnt Patches count as a boss, meaning you cant get Margit's Shackle until you get your All Boss weapon target?

I run a Holy/Bleed build. I like switching between them from general exploration to bosses and I don’t know how I have never heard of this weapon.

Wait, wait, wait……flame of the red mane get nerfed? 😩 I was planning a run using that when I got time off work over Christmas 😢
Yeah, it only deals 1/4 of it's previous posture damage now, making it useless for stunning enemies. You're much better off using Lion's Claw, Ice Spear or hell, even the butt slam for stunning now.
