- The Bell Bearing Hunters Greatsword makes for one of the most unique builds in all of Elden Ring and does surprisingly well... This run is part of a challenge I'm doing to complete multiple different no-hit runs with weapons that my viewers request. I am trying to complete all 40 that have been requested before 2023. So far, 38 of 40 runs have been done in the last 8 weeks.

Rules: Complete the game while not taking any staggers or damage from enemies or traps. Environmental or self hits/damage are allowed, including fall damage. There is a required death at the beginning of the game which is not counted as a hit because it is needed for progression.

I wish Eochaid’s Dancing Blade let you use more of Elemer’s unique moves. Like, activating EDB normally does the drilling attack, but hitting light/heavy attack does one of his other telekinetic slashes.
Same, i actually was expecting to be able to do a sweeping attack with his blade when I first got it. Was pretty disappointed

Cause the weapon art with only fgms and commanders standard does over 10 thousand damage to the troll at flame peak
You could also make it’s AOW like a square off with a stance and two different attacks

I remember finding this boss while trying to finish the malenia questline. The small room made me so mad, but the sword was so cool i based my entire build around it

There's 26 trick weapons in bloodborne, that includes DLC weapons and doesn't include guns or other off-hand weapons. Two of those weapons have alternate move sets when equipped with a special rune from the DLC. The rune combos are as follows, Milkweed Rune with the Kos Parasite, and the Beast's Embrace rune with the Beast Claw. While yes that is a significantly lower number of weapons than in a souls game/elden ring, There isn't a single copy-cat weapon like there is in the souls/elden games. The copy-cat weapons are cut because you can alter the damage of any weapon in Bloodborne with bloodgems. So you could take a physical damage weapon and make it venom, poison, fire, magic, or blood damage, so there's a ton of ways to build around different uses for the same weapon.
The "less weapons" argument never made sense to me. As if there are people out there who level up and try out every single iteration of a short sword and then rejoice over the fact that this exact same moveset is on the 400th, slightly different looking sword.
Bloodborne is universally considered one of the best souls games for a reason. "I can't level up 5 different greatswords" isn't really valid criticism, it's the same type of weak excuse people used to hate on Sekiro the instant it was clear there were no conventional weapon upgrades.

Eochaids dancing blade should have been like Sword of Night and Flame. It would be way cool to have the spin as an R2 and the throwing blade attack as an R1 or something.

Surprised we didn’t see you killing Millicent at Windmill Village, if you kill her there you get the Millicent’s Prosthesis.
My guess is adding Commander O’Neil, Godskin Apostle, and Millicent as fights seemed riskier than they’re worth.
You don’t need to do all this i believe , you only need to kill her
@@Castrovalva9 O'Neil has cheese. Godskin apostle is scripted easily with sleep pots, and Millicent would probably die in one AoW, it just takes time is all
The rotten winged sword insignia is better for consecutive hits
@@quemf222 yeah, but that involves going all the way to the haligtree and fighting her sisters, a lot could’ve gone wrong. You can just get Millicent’s Prosthesis earlier, and it can stack with the regular Winged Sword Insignia where the Rotton can’t stack with it.
I've watched a lot of your no hit videos recently, and because of you I managed to finally kill Radagon and I did it on my first try. Watching your videos so much made me subconsciously learn his moveset

Fighting Elmer took me forever, I finally learned that when you go close when he does his ranged swipes and circle behind him you won’t get hit. The rest of his attacks were very telegraphed, he also almost does a shield slam when you hit from behind, so after I figured those things out, it was pretty easy. But seeing how easily you demolish everything is insane. This is my first souls game and oh man I am stuck on Radahn, whenever I watch one of your runs, it seems like the bosses attack slower than they do for me. But that’s only because you know exactly what to do all the time which is so crazy that you have gained the ability to translate your thoughts into actions instinctively.
I was having a conversation with a friend the other day about how easy these games look when you're not the one playing them 😄

Random thought for a run (apologies if you already did it or are otherwise not interested): any time you kill a boss, anything you used during the setup or active fight is locked out for the rest of the run. Your weapon? Sell it. Your talisman? Sell it. The sorcery/incantation you used for a buff? Mark down that it's not available. The wondrous flask? Any tears in it are marked down as unavailable. Used a Weapon Art? Gone. (your choice on whether or not you can "buy" extra uses of a Weapon Art by making copies via Lost Ashes). Drank from a flask of tears? Max flasks -1 (realistically this just means "you fail the run if your total flasks fall below whatever value"). Not sure whether to give consumables free reign since by definition they're gone when you use them or restrict them in some way, so dealer's choice - whichever you think would make it more interesting.

I had never heard Radagon's grunts when he swings before, and I have been playing since release. Probably bc you don't have the music on, and I usually play with very low volume
hey gino! i'm a big fan of yours, and as i've watched the whole All Bosses No Hit run, i was wondering what is all the buffs that you use, in order aswell (because of the durations of course), as well as what was the last or strongest physik flask that you use? I'd be really glad with some support here, see ya and lov your vids!
Some of the Buffs I've seen him use are
Howl of Shabriri (incantation)
Flame Grant me strength (incantation)
Golden Vow (incantation/ash of war)
Seppuku (ash of war)
Bloody slash (ash of war)
you have to be careful though because some of these buffs overwrite others. golden vow is an aura buff and FGMS is a body buff. Since howl of shabriri is also a body buff, it doesnt stack with FGMS and the last one you cast will override the other. physick buffs are compatible with everything except for the regen but you dont need that in nohit runs.

my wonders were actually about just for a normal run, i just wanted to increase my damage as much as i could, and i had noticed that the buffs that he used gave Gino immense ammounts of damage, so now that i have that information, thank you sir
altough, which body buff is the strongest? vow, fgms or howl?
@@Sho-po4ybvow stacks with either, FGMS is shorter and buffs less damage but it has less faith requirements and you dont take extra damage, i would recommend flame + vow for a normal run. if you really want to boost your damage to the max you could also use lord of blood talisman + white mask and seppuku, then kindred of rot talisman + mushroom crown and meat dumplings, but imo its a bit overkill. ritual sword talisman is a safer bet and easier to use

i made an eochaids dancing blade build because of this vid i was able to get to 16.9k damage in one go of the skill against the halberd golem outside the grand lift of dectus. I one shotted it and one of the tree sentinals outside the capital outskirts as well
i got to ng+5 with a full build on this weapon and i could easily go further i just got bored, i wasn't even using howl of shabriri. this weapon is nuts.
I fired up Elden Ring and played a bit today and realized that I enjoy watching your challenge runs more than I enjoy playing the game myself. 🤣
damn ive had the exact same opinion about bloodborne and i get constantly lambasted by friends and members of the community for not riding its nuts... feels good to hear someone else say it haha

oh my god seing this and remembering it took me 3 real life days to finally kill Godrick is absolutely devastating. still love the run tho
You might not see this but with the sword there is a tear that gives damage boost on consecutive hits and the Ash of war is classified as losts of hits ( on my build I do 16k damage without buff spells)
for sure that is strong with setup but getting that is not really viable for an any% and even getting the millicent prosthesis is just too far out of the way but would boost this build a lot

gino has done an all bosses run (all 165 including dungeon bosses) although if you mean eveyr enemy in the game, that hasnt been completed yet, although i know DistractionCrab on twitch is routing to try and get that run one day.

The regalia does only slightly less damage, is easier to use since it's lighter and faster as a straight sword, power stancing straight swords is op, and it's easier to get.
Elemer is such a cool boss. I discovered him today and eventually bested him, and the whole time I felt like I was fighting Darth Vader.

No self inflicted damg does not count. It is in the description.
@@daveboonen5041 But it does not mention self-inflicted status effects. I guess it's ok since he uses seppuku which is self-inflicted blood loss, which is a status effect.
Please make the tree sentinel cheese a separate vid I ended up just going and getting poison because I couldn't get him to walk all the way to the edge
The exicutoiner blade was super op in a blood build with it I tried it and it would melt bosses super fast

Farming those stupid knights for Proof of a concord kept, ran me 36 hours to get all of the ones needed. Was pure pain and def will not do again. Let's talk about how there's a straight sword version of this that has higher late game damage because of high dex scaling and arcane scaling rather than just strength. You don't even need to kill anything for that one... it's called Regalia of Eochid for anyone who wants to know

executioner's sword is my favorite sword design in elden ring, i just don't like using heavy weapons like greatswords or great/colossal weapons, i'm fine with the halberd tho

@@acertekin basically, he joined late and started to use a route with bloodhound step, since spamming the weapon art (before it was nerfed) was actually faster than sprint speed. This route ended up being a tonne faster than the currently used routes, so the top runners at the time were annoyed at the use of bloodhound step since they didnt all want to have to massively reroute after running their routes for a month. I can't remember what exactly happened at the end, whether BHS was banned or everyone rerouted, but i know that that tourney was a mess overall due to being managed very poorly, and the winners didnt even get paid for months (one of the top 2 only got their money a few days before this video was being streamed i believe, and the tourney was about 8 months ago i think).

I think because killing the deathbird without said pots is very risky. Since the item the bird drops is very much needed for the run it should be allowed as he has claimed items with other weapons before. All rememberance bosses listed on the side are the goal which he must kill with the sword, anything else doesnt matter too much.

You don't just "randomly" get Rogier's armor and weapon. He gets afflicted by deathblight, and it slowly kills him. That's why you have to rest 5 times for it to appear. If you're just playing through the game normally with no previous knowledge or guide, you wouldn't just rest 5 times and then get the armor. You'd go about playing normally, and then through normal gameplay you'd rest every now and then. And then you might check up on him sometime and discover he died and get his armor and weapon. And also iirc if you visit him at various points between him getting blighted and him dying, he visibly gets sicker and his dialogue changes.
Like, if you don't like that, fine. But to say it's stupid is just kind of ignorant. It makes sense for the story.
He definitely ain't gonna read this comment but you ain't alone in that. The audacity to say that the quest design is bad simply because you're doing it incorrectly baffles me. Obviously if you look up guides of have prior knowledge you can breeze through but yeah, I don't get his take.
It’s not the I think the story/lore of the quest is bad. I was just using it as an example of why I’m not a fan of fromsoft quest lines overall because the progression feels choppy with having to rest to progress stuff rather than it happening in an immersive way.

@@GinoMachino I can understand what you mean, but at the same time the way they did it is pretty much as immersive as it can be. The point was that Rogier is supposed to slowly die over time. There is no time mechanic in the game, or any other way to show that time has passed beyond your progression through the game. So they did it based on rests because of how most people would naturally play.
I do agree it would be nice in a game like this for things to progress in a more natural way instead of this state based system (Like seeing characters actually move from location to location), but I feel like that's sort of a consequence of them taking their design from the non-open world souls games (and possibly limitations of their engine), and translating it directly to an open world. Maybe they'll figure out a way to do that if they ever do another open world souls game. Though if they did do that, you'd probably have people complaining about having to wait for characters to reach the next destination to continue their quests. So maybe they won't change it. There are plenty of rpgs that still work that way to this day after all.
@@ObsidianChariot That specific point wasn't great, but overall the FromSoft side quests are really irritating. There's rarely logic in where a character will appear next, but even then you could miss them if you're not specifically looking. And almost all the quests end with the character either dead or hostile towards you, and it's not always clear why. Rogier's quest is, ironically, probably the most sensible one in the game. I was able to complete and understand it without looking anything up.
