    I just shared this video in all of my classes, very helpful and creative! I tried to do this same concept in OBS like you spoke about in the beginning of the video and it was terrible. I did not know Streamlab OBS was so much more practical and friendly among different video platforms.

    Not working for the M1 Macs.

    Nice work! Do you know how to get Zoom to take its audio from the Streamlabs output? Right now, it's taking it directly from my Scarlett 212. This is to be able to control the latency (there is no latency adjustments in Zoom). Thanks!

      as far as I know, not with the streamlabs virtual cam. there is a very long work around with OBS proper, utilizing the NDI virtual input (what I did originally before streamlabs was ported to mac). it's complicated and really annoying but this video might help ruclips.net/video/cXmqjTDbGwA/видео.html

    Thank you, this video helped a lot. But my video quality is very low in Zoom. What can I do to improve the video quality?

    • @JamesBeauton
      @JamesBeauton  3 года назад

      It may depend on your camera-diff web cams have diff built in qualities but most are 720 or 1080p. Check the video settings in zoom (click the little arrow next to “video”), you may be able to enable HD mode. Other than that, check your internet speed (google speed test)-if your upload speed is slow, there’s not much you can do beyond speeding up the internet. Also, if the picture quality is poor on the receiving end (the person you’re zooming with), that means it’s their internet that is slow and there’s nothing you can do about it on your end.

    How can I get audio from a video I play in Streamlabs to be audible in Zoom?

    • @JamesBeauton
      @JamesBeauton  3 года назад

      unfortunately the streamlabs virtual cam doesn't support an audio transfer. *from a comment below as well* There is a very long work around with OBS proper, utilizing the NDI virtual input (what I did originally before streamlabs was ported to mac). it's complicated and really annoying but this video might help ruclips.net/video/cXmqjTDbGwA/видео.html

    Hi, great video! But just curious, does streaming streamlabs to zoom still work currently? I tried so many times but my zoom still can't detect the streamlab virtual cam...... btw I am on Mac too.

      thx! it should still work. i had this same problem sometimes too. try updating everything and doing restarts after the update. it's likely a zoom problem (zoom would crash my mac a lot in the early days). also, if the problem persists, try installing the most recent OBS Studio. I'm not positive the mac version has a virtual cam option but it might now. Since making this video i switched to windows bc of small little issues like this, and I ended up liking OBS studio better even if it is a little less user-friendly at first.
