I remember watching live when The Rock called Punk. That was awesome, unheard of, spontaneous, and crazy! I bet everyone was popping all around the world! If Punk would have answered, that would have been absolutely epic! That’s the kind of stuff that lives on forever!!!

He has mellowed out. I love that. Would love to see him in the ring again. But, I think he’s happy now. He did the UFC thing although unsuccessfully he still did it. Not many people can say that. I think he’s more open to a return now. Whether it’s in AEW or elsewhere if the storyline makes sense for him. But if he never wrestles again. At least he appreciated and now thinks fondly of his experiences good or bad. That’s awesome. Good for him.
I think secretly he wants to come back to wrestling, but his ego wouldn't allow him to admit it. If he came back now it would mean he didn't make it outside of wrestling and that he failed.
The Rock once said something like this, that he only came back to the WWE as a conquering hero. Because he didn't want people to think that he only came back because he couldn't make it in Hollywood.
Even though he wasn't a good UFC fighter, I give him respect for doing it. Miss those days when wrestling was wrestling.
I don't think anyone cares if he failed to make it out of wwe, but only his ego, if he fights it and lets it go, and erase, and start off clean, he should make it back to pro wrestling
I think he'll eventually come back to wrestling but he'll never show his face in a WWE ring ever again. They mistreated a staph infection that almost killed him, and then tried suing him when he called them out on it. If he goes to AEW, we'll have another Monday Night War on our hands.

It’s nice he’s cool with recalling past WWE moments. Last time I remember this being brought up, I think an article said he 100% didn’t want to talk about his time in the WWE. Of course I think it was only like a year after he left.
Also just a personal thing, I wish people would stop taunting him about his MMA career. Yeah he didn’t help because he talked so big about him having a new career and he was gonna give his all and even had a special building up to his debut only for him to lose. If he didn’t make such a big thing about being done with pro wrestling, calling it fake and then hyping his mma career, maybe the criticism he faced from fans wouldn’t be as bad. I didn’t care much about him saying wrestling is fake because I know he lived the life so he knew just how real it was. I just chalked that comment up to him being bitter with the WWE and becoming sick of pro wrestling because of it.

I don't hate him but the mma losses did make me lose a bit of respect for him. He was my favorite, untouchable in my mind. It was the equivalent of a random thug putting a bullet in Superman's skull and killing him in front of a live audience. I was devastated.

Vince didn't have a problem with CM Punk it was Triple H that had a problem with CM Punk. he didn't really like CM Punk because Punk used to tell him how he felt about him face to face and he didn't like that. plus Triple H wanted to wrestle CM Punk at WM 30 but Punk said no because he wanted to be in the Main Event of WM 30 fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton but Triple H didn't give him the match and instead acted like a asshole about it so Punk left .

Rock vs Punk was a real good match at the Royal Rumble and both were built solid. Liked the fact that Wwe gave Punk the win meaning he did not lose and then restarted the match for the People's Elbow and the roof blew off when The Rock became Champion.

Idk bro, I like CM Punk, but I like how AEW is doing without him, they did have wrong wins but some other events at the show helped to let those mistakes slide so CM Punk or not we shouldnt give our back to AEW if you like wrestling ofc
