Why can't someone make a good lens for phones? All the lenses that I've owned or tested all have blurs towards the edges, some also have bad overall photos.
Well, I don't think you can. When you're putting lens on a phone, you are basically putting a lens onto another lens. so the iphones sharpness gets spread out through the picture, this is how I understand it.
Is there a cheaper alternative that costs less? I find a lot of the materials on there (like rosewood) are just unnecessary and add to the cost, however I can't find anything like this for any cheaper.
The differences weren't huge. Instead, I would save the money and buy a Canon camera which from what I've heard, takes great pictures. Forgot what exact model. And if this is meant for professional accessories, you aren't getting a great camera for such expensive things. Although by itself it is kind of good.

Wait, did this guy just use his caramel smooth voice to tell us it brings "tension on the center" with a "blur effect" on the edges? It's soft on the corners which isn't a good thing for lenses.........

The wide angle lens, has a lot of chramatic abberation. It's kind of typical with most of these smartphone lenses.

If you have an iPhone, I would recommend to download the app "Videon" and use the cinamatic setting; it's amazing.
