The stationary vacuum isn't as dumb as you think. There exist proper versions for hairdressers where you just sweep the hair in front of it and it sucks it up. There exist more robust versions for, let's say, woodshops. It is not a dumb idea, it's a dumb and cheap implantation.
Some home kitchens have this also installed, makes it especially in the kitchen quite useful. Although it normally is only where there is already a full-house vacuum system is installed.
7:22 "Airpods wire" I think the way you used it is wrong. You use it like a neckband, you wear it in the back of your neck not in front so it stays in your neck 😊

This kind of belt and buckle is actually quite common by now. I always use them, because of what you said and also because they allow for nicer designs and don't rip up your T-shirts.
That phone case works fine if landing on a flat surface: it doesn’t take into account that it could be landing on something like a spike or the edge of a stair, which would completely bypass the sides that usually stop it.

The vac, you're way too harsh! Hear me out, here's the use case. It's NOT replacing the vacuum - it's replacing the dustpan. First off, barber shops would LOVE this thing. They usually use brooms to clean up the cut hair, and have a bin sunk into the floor. This could replace that. Second, after you have swept dust on your tiles and now want to get rid of it, dustpans SUCK. Well, they don't and that's the problem, but this does. With a dustpan, you have to bend over or kneel down constantly, trying and get as much as possible on the dustpan, and it's never gonna be everything because it constantly gets stuck on the ledge of the pan. You could also use wet paper towels every time, but still crawling on the floor to do so. So, this lets you get everything together with the broom like in the old times, but instead of dustpanning in the end, you use this instead in one go with 3 seconds of noise. And either less (ideally), or the same amount of leftover on the floor. Okay, why not just get a full vacuum instead? Well, any and all situations where you need to avoid noise as much as possible, this makes perfect sense. Sleeping baby, or spouse working night shift, maybe it's late night and you don't want to disturb the neighbors. A few seconds of noise is much less likely to wake anyone up in the apartment one over. Plus, you could also argue it's more eco friendly. Yes, I am that guy. I am the night owl. I would love to use the broom more, but it's such a hassle. I'd love to vacuum more, but it's too loud. So if I don't want to disturb anyone, I just have to put up with either the annoyance of a dust pan, or sweeping, and then... using the vacuum for 3 seconds to suck it up from there. Having this instead of pulling out the vacuum for just three seconds of on-time, would be neat. The earphones - it's a modern walkman. Especially if you can put MP3s on there. When you're leaving the phone at home on purpose, this could be a rather high quality modern iPod alternative, wouldn't it? As for the eye contact cam. Yep. I know someone who did NOT get a big display but two small ones, so he can tape (yes) a webcam, BETWEEN, the two displays. To be able to take the video of the other person, and drag it across both screens, thick bezel right in their face. Just to make eye contact.
While I agree with the dustpan thing, No barber shop is going to want this. The reason they don't use vacumes today, is noise. They won't want this thing running for 7 seconds after each haircut. As for the earphones, I agree it should have been rated higher, as it did everything he wanted it to do, well, and then did a lot more things he didn't know it could do. However for 99% of the population, it's a pointless gadget. Sure, it could be though of as the modern walkman, but we have a modern walkman from Sony, and no one buys that either.
Fun fact, my sister has started working in a hair saloon, and they use something akin to the Ivac system to suck up cut hair when they broom it off the floor, ten times easier than having a big vaccum cleaner in their store.
I’m not saying the stationary robo vacuum is good as I’ve never seen one but I think you approached the product wrong.. think of it as an auto dustpan, brush sweep the floor to the vac and boom, no bending down. And with me being mid stage Parkinson’s Disease with balance issues not having to bend down whilst needing both hands to dustpan and brush, it would give me a sense of independence.
Then you should buy a vaccum instead what's the point of having a vaccum standing at the corner, you have to use the broom either way might as well use the vaccum instead of the broom
0/10 for the vacuum slab is a bit harsch when it pretty much does what is advertised, especially considering that other products that are clearly broken and non-functional got a higher note. I believe you're approaching it the wrong way: it's not supposed to be a replacement for a broom of a vacuum cleaner, it's supposed to be a replacement for a dustpan. It fills one very specific niche: you don't want to carry a heavy and noisy vacuum cleaner across your house so you'd rather use a broom, but you also don't want to crouch to collect the dust in your dustpan. In that light, this product makes perfect sense, even if it's a bit too niche for its price. It's unfair to judge it for not being able to vacuum one meter away, because you're supposed to sweep the dust directly into its mouth. It's not that last broom sweep it's trying to save you from, it's the next step of having to go get your duspan and handbrush, kneeling down, collecting your pile into the dustpan, and throwing it into the trash. Again, it's not a good product, and way too pricy for the small chore it's trying to replace, but I wouldn't call it useless. Still a much better use of 150 bucks than a plastic toaster with a laser-cut metal plate, a powerbank belt with no power, or a selfie drone with no stabilization and a shoddy camera.
my hair salon uses this for all the hairs on the ground and honestly looks super convenient. All they gotta do is just sweep all the hair into a corner
As someone living in SEA that use broom ALL the time, I have to agree that it was such a nice product. I basically don’t need to bring all of the dirt outside of the house or struggling trying to throw them away into the trashbin.
At this point your videos are like fully produced episodes of a Netfilx series or something 😂. Not complaining though, now I have something to watch while eating! 😁
(1) Thread the wire through the backside label of your shirt. The real problem will be removing wire every time putting them back in case or controlling music. 7:45
The vacuum is way better than you’re presenting. If you have dirt ‘over there’ you can grab a broom that isn’t a hulking and poorly shaped push broom, and sweep it over to that and it sucks it up. Done. If you have a corded vacuum, you have to go get the vacuum, unravel the cord, plug it in, vacuum up the mess, then unplug it, wrap the cord, then go put it away. Yes, my example is just as one sided as how it was presented in the video… All I’m saying is that I would much rather sweep the floor than vacuum the floor. It’s quieter, don’t have to stop to change plugs as you go around the house. This product seems like it is way better than presented here.
That's what cordless battery powered vacuums (like dyson etc) exist. They're small/lightweight, hang on the wall somewhere and you can vacuum things anywhere with them, without having to use any cables. Why would I get a broom over that, to then just have to broom it over to this useless device, that will then also make a vacuum noise (thus isnt silent as you said). It's a pointless product...
@@12345678bobster, cheapest Dyson is $450 or so. I could buy literally 4 of that standing vacuum, never have to deal with a degrading battery over time, and I can sweep the whole ENTIRE HOUSE while listing to an audiobook peacefully, and then for a whopping 7 seconds, after the ENTIRE HOUSE is swept quietly, listen to the loud vacuum. I have had some of the cheaper battery powered vacuums and they just don’t have any power. Literally spent so much time going over and over the same dirt flecks just to get them. You’re welcomed to keep trying to convince me that your, more expensive (short and long term), louder (for 99.99999% of the time cleaning), and in no way more convenient idea of how to do things is somehow better, but it objectively isn’t. Thanks for your input, though.
@@12345678bobster in very expensive house vacuums like this are commonly built into the house, so you sweep your trash to one of the floor outlets around the house and it sucks it up to the bag usually located in the garage. (my grandmothers house has one of these built into her house) this is just a more affordable version for a regular house. so not so pointless because cordless vacuums do leave a lot of stuff not sucked up. I know I have one.
@@Yiro. Well of course there is good/commercial versions of this, and they are not useless. However, the product shown in this video is really, really bad and not comparable to proper solutions. @@Greenleaf_ Interesting how they mixed the sound. You couldn't hear the motors until the end of the video. Maybe he didn't think the sound was an issue? In comparison the Moonwalkers can barely do 7mph with a minimum of 5 miles for a product that costs $1400??? That rating should have honestly been a 5/10 max. Arun im pretty sure that vacuum was made for people who sweep their floors once or twice a week or so. So you can sweep up a pile of stuff and instead of using a dustpan to throw it away. Bravo👏🏾
He has never swept a floor b4. That was obvious
@@TheRealMafooI have seen this in baber shops and it is very useful. I would love it at my home, I don't have to bend over
My barber actually uses the exact one he reviewed and he swears by it.
actually, my hairdresser uses a similar one. i also think it could have a use in kitchen or other places where you drop mess a lot
Used the first product so wrong that it is making me laugh.
How would you use it?
The cord goes around the back of your neck, not in front of it. So if you’re running and an earbud falls out, it drapes over your shoulder.
it make your tws into a neckband, but it still a weird product when you can just buy neckband in a first place

Fun fact, my sister has started working in a hair saloon, and they use something akin to the Ivac system to suck up cut hair when they broom it off the floor, ten times easier than having a big vaccum cleaner in their store.

22:09,auto fly= it should follow me ✖, you have follow drone ✅
Arun chasing the drone being the embodiment of 'Why are you running?' meme
I’m not saying the stationary robo vacuum is good as I’ve never seen one but I think you approached the product wrong.. think of it as an auto dustpan, brush sweep the floor to the vac and boom, no bending down. And with me being mid stage Parkinson’s Disease with balance issues not having to bend down whilst needing both hands to dustpan and brush, it would give me a sense of independence.
My mom has one in her kitchen, she also has M.S. Some days she can't walk at all let alone bend over. You got it right, it's an auto dustpan.
My mom had one in her salon and that's exactly the use, she would sweep up the hair then slide it into that and it worked wonders

But toaster with laser cut metal plate cool 🥺
my hair salon uses this for all the hairs on the ground and honestly looks super convenient. All they gotta do is just sweep all the hair into a corner
As someone living in SEA that use broom ALL the time, I have to agree that it was such a nice product. I basically don’t need to bring all of the dirt outside of the house or struggling trying to throw them away into the trashbin.

Yes, my example is just as one sided as how it was presented in the video…
All I’m saying is that I would much rather sweep the floor than vacuum the floor.
