I have much respect for Vai. Some of these "next gen" guitarists can't even do a pedalboard tap dance, they have their techs doing it for them backstage, let alone use a pair of real 100 watt tube amps and 4x12s with Vintage 30s...thats actually producing the stage volume, tone and INTERACTION with the guitar. I hate a wall of dummy cabs just for looks

I do play guitar and I've never felt the overcoming need to dance like a drunk completely out of sync with the music I was playing. It's just as stupid as his early fan obsession. I have no problem with no one,I just think jokeing matters are ment for a place and time, and insulting him after he has been around for a long time and he may act older but as most artists that are older, thier still playing but I dont get why people like axle from guns n roses,or others get jokes thrown thier way.yea thier older, but that was thier dream, what they were good at.I wish I could see all the older bands and guitarists. Its where it started and why most play a instrument or sing.
