I really like your channel because you do what you want and you don't really care what happens. please keep doing your own thing! It's YOUR channel!
I sure will! Thank you so much! :-)
We built one!!! So cool! Thank you so much. We used carriage bolts through the frame of the hoop part to attach the PVC hoops. What a cool concept. Cheers from Vermont!
Awesome! Send me picture so I can post it on Facebook! :-)
Ignore the negative comments They are hateful people just stalking the internet to verbally attack people. I loved your videos.
Keep it up! We have a small channel and are in the same boat you are in and it is an inspiration to see that you had it take off with just one video! We have been working hard and stories like yours keep us going!
+LILTRadio Keep up the good work! Thank you for joining me here. :-)
Jeg er glad for deg. my best Norwegian.
keep doing your "thing" because it is enjoyable for me to hear what you have to say and to see what you are building, planting, etc. I will building a cover for my raised beds like yours. good design! thanks
Thank you! :-)
Christopher...you are a real down to earth human being with a lot of ingenuity inside. Don't sweat the small percentage of gripers. I admit that I fast forwarded during the original hoop house video to get to the essentials because time is short but the end product you created was fantastic and very functional.
One tip....create an intro for your vids that shows your entire property/garden/indoor area - a panarama because it feels a bit claustrophobic when you stay in one area so long. Plus, people want to see what your countryside looks like.
Great suggestion! I might even make an episode of drone filming in the area.
yo you are perfect the way you are, keep on the same path you are on, the people who are truly thankful are here watching everyday. their is a NEGATIVE cloud over youtube and the people who comment in the comment section. I support your videos because i know what you are trying to do. and it is 100& genuine and for the love of gardening! thank you for uploading
Thank you so much for the kind words. It is people like you that makes me want to do this. :-)
As I was watching the video, I was reminded of Ray Browning... I have been following Ray since winter of 2013. I really your style. I and from Southern Quebec.I am anxious to see your indoor garden. Good show.
I'm glad that you and Ray are friends. I've been watching him for years! Do what you want to do and we/I will continue to watch you do cool things.
Thank you so much. :-)
*Waves from England* I started indoor gardening in spring, didnt have a clue what I was doing. Then I found Ray! Was so happy to hear you mention him, hes such a lovely guy. Really enjoy your videos, you have the same relaxed approach, which is nice and easy to watch. Thank you for your videos :)
Thank you so much for watching. :-)
Do what you enjoy and don't worry about the complainers. I watch and subscribe because you kind of do a garden blog about what you are experiencing. It's neat to see what others are up to in their gardens. Stay humble, Cheers from Houston Texas.
Houston in the house! Thanks! :-)
Just keep doing what you've always done as it is what you do best. Just keep being yourself.
Christopher: A couple of idea's for next year. Place a soil heating cable 10cm below the surface of the soil. ( this is the cable used to keep gutters from freezing ) I draws very little power but you could put it on a timer about 1 hour before sunset to 1 hour after sunrise to off-set the coolest part of the day. Cover with 1cmx1cm welded wire screen ( we call it hardware cloth ) to stop a trowel damaging the cable. This cable is also used in the sand bed of propagation tables for bottom heat.
You could also tape the builders plastic on one end to the first hoop; then cover this end with row cover ( re-may cloth ) for that day you forget to lift the cover. Tape the cloth to the plastic with cheap duct tape; this will reinforce the join. Bert
Cool idea, Bert! :-)
You keep talking the way you made the 26,000,000 video! Haters gonna hate! I’m from the city of sin.. and I loved that your dogs name is “Vegas” a big hello 👋 from Las Vegas!!
Great! what you're doing. And I wasnt surprised you mentioned Ray... because after watching a couple of your vids Im like .... the guy sounds like Ray. Oh how I love Ray's channel too. Im subbed to you. And for your joint pains take green juices whatever two leafy veggies you like Eg Kale and Spinach then add two knuckle lengths of ginger. The ginger must always be in.Your joint pains would move in with someone else....HA
I love your videos!
good to see you again - keep the videos coming when you can
pepper looked hot - love your dog ( cute )
looking to see how your big green house comes out
Be well my friend
Your garden is looking great. We have had so much rain this season that my garden is now starting to bear fruit...it's way behind schedule. I had to plant late then I lost a lot of plants because the rain brought out the slugs and bugs and those did a lot of damage. I am surprised I have a crop at all. I mostly have tomatoes, peppers and sweet corn left. Congrats on your fame...glad you're staying true to who you are. People like to voice their opinions. This is your channel so don't let them change you 😊
Thank you so much for the love, Tracy! :-)
Great Job. Going to make a SIP raised Bed (self watering lined) using your top design. Here in NV South Lake Tahoe still very cold in the evenings and we must conserve water. I love how you created a punch list of items I can order from Amazon via link. Very convient to simply click on the link and order (maybe next time create a shopping basket w/ all the items needed to build the project). I love Norway and how you can grow such things in a very short growing season. Happy Gardening!
So glad to see you back Chris! Now I got to get on it and get my videos out too.
You’re doing a great job so keep up the good work. I really enjoy your videos.
Bro, you combined hoop-house gardening with raised bed gardening. That's freaking genius. Nice imagination Dude.
Thanks!
This is so awesome, I hope you and your family are well!! We grew some "Habanana" peppers this year, which is also the habanero that was designed to be heat free. Good luck to you guys this growing season :)
much deserved! keep it up!
Jag heter Beth y bor i Idaho! It is cold here at night, now, and we also have the same issues as you with trying to grow veggies in cold frames. You are so clever and inspiring! Tak so mycket for your vlog. Jag alskar at lysnna. Forgive my poor Swedish!
Haha! Thanks for the support, Beth! :-)
Så kjekt å høre at du har fått så mange følgere på grunn av en video. Jeg fikk den opp nå.
Hi .
Well done!!! Keep up the good job. For your greenhouse cold issues try to put some bubble wrap ( big bubble ) on to the glass inside the greenhouse .
Thanks for the tip. I have been thinking about doing that.
Its one of the good video in youtube, regarding protected cultivation..... All the best bro....
Thanks, buddy! :-D
I've only just discovered your channel and have been truly enjoying your vids. When you got to the point where you were sharing that people were complaining I had to stop and post a note. You enjoy what you do...keep doing it. If per chance others enjoy watching your content, then how fortunate that is for both you and for them. If; however, they take issue with one thing or another...hmmm...trying to be polite here...enlighten them to the fact that the internet is a big place and there are MANY other content options for them to invest their time and opinions into while not detracting from you and your channel for those of us that do enjoy your work "as is". In a nutshell, tell 'em to bugger off down the road if they don't like it after all! ;-) So much for politeness...
You are the reason I make videos. 💚
It's good idea one thing which I noticed you did not mention the size of this tiny green house best wishes keep blessed.
Zahid Ali.Islamabad Pakistan.
Size is app. 4meter by 1meter by 80cm.
Masha'Allah
You doing very well
Thanks so much very nice of you
and yes we did all watch it and it was a great idea , thanks
Gjør det du føler for. Morsomt å se på. Jeg lurte selv på hvordan jeg skulle lage bed med slik duk over og videoen "hinged hoophouse for raised bed" hjalp meg.
That was a great guide. Especially with the price of the popular vegepods
You don't know how many youtuber's would love for this to happen. That's awesome. You just never know do you. The bed does look really nice though. Janice
+jksatte I know. I really stumbled upon something here. Might just start to get serios about uploads now!
I watched it too! Congrats Christopher =)
well i think you did a great job i dont know alot about what you have made but watching has given me ideas and thats what its all about so good on you and :)
Thanks! :-)
How about stacking a row of bricks around your raised bed? Might that capture enough sun heat to radiate inward to keep the soil a bit warmer and raise the growing temperature for the peppers? Or maybe put some bricks/dark stones on the soil between the pepper plants.
Could be a fun project! :-)
Forget the trolls, they're everywhere. They get on RUclips and mindlessly cruise around dropping complaints everywhere. They live to try and make everyone as ticked off and unhappy as they are. Do the thing you love to do and forget them.
Christopher, I too am a fellow chili lover. The past 2 years I have been trying different varieties to figure out which ones like to grow the best in our climate. I´m growing in soil and hydroponic, no heat, medium heat and superhot. If you want someone closer to swap seeds with here I am right next door to you in Sweden. Get in touch with me and we can talk chilis.
+dale jones Let's hook up on Google Hangout!
The dachshund is super cute... obviously, I'm partial to the oxygen breathing lifeforms :-)
+Animal Facts I really do love dachs. This is the only type of dog I will ever have. Vegas is my best fury friend!
❤❤❤❤❤ By the way, great channel. You earned another sub this morning.
P.S. Brush off the haters and know your family will always be here to enjoy just hanging out!
love the shirt... Glad to see you back!!!! good video! want to see review for SRP x Shishito!
Did that one a few days ago. It was VERY good! :-)
PLC! Khang would be proud!
Khang sent me the shirt. He's the boss!
Depends on where you live whether or when the hoop house will work. It would be great in winter here in the south US, but THIS time of year, here in Texas, the ONLY thing that would be happy in there would be ants! Ants love the ridiculous heat off late summer!
+Marcy RP I would kill for your climate! Haha
I had success using epson salt solutions, (once a month). The same habanero you just had. :))
Here in Australia. My problem was that leaves started drooping, not flowers after the second run of flowers.
Very strong and prolific.
Might try that next year. Have epson somewhere here, hehe. :-)
1.40 - I think you mean "it just blew up" ... in England "blew off" means it did a fart!
Hahahaha! I noticed that during editing. :-)
John Spiers In the US, "blew off" means completely forgot (as in not even worth thinking about)...Funny, the linguistic differences of the same language.
John Spiers - No he means 'it just blew up' which effectively the views exploded....i.e. increased very quickly
Wow that's awesome! Good luck on the adventure u didn't expect lol. Yes I remember u saying u had this idea and u made it. So happy to see the update on how well it worked. U'll be getting comments on other video for years. N find yourself repeating over n over to ppl lol. Glad i found ya b4 fame. Holy 38° better than expected!! Your "idea" is promising :-) Again good luck to being a future youtuber ;-) Looking forward to new collab!! "Its a freak'n jabernero cough cough" 😂😂😂
Bra Christopher kør på!!!

He he her hee. Tee heee hee

ive been buying organic sseds from a supplier who is about 80 miles from my house via ebay...zero issue with him and he is always answered my questions pretty fast. I'm not a amazon shopper and never will be. I say buy local
I very much agree. As long as I can get things local, I do.
Will you use these peppers for your cooking? If so, can you upload some vids of you cooking with these?
Yes and yes. :-)
nice video, i was just thinking you may have some cross-pollination going on since all the you plants are fairly close to one another, not a bad thing may just explain the results you are getting.
Cross pollination will not show different result until the seeds from the pollinated fruit is grown out. But there is probably alot of cross pollination, so I need to be aware of this if I save seeds.
😮😮😮
Where are you living, Christopher? What's a country?
Me like 12 times to
26,000,000 didn't watch your video.. there is a huge difference between a video being watched 26,000,000 times and a video being watched by 26,000,000 people. I didn't watch the video you mentioned... however I did watch this one and you seem a lot full of yourself... i watched all i could stand of it and turned it off at 3 minutes.. congratulations
Hahaha! I hope you enjoy your saturday, wherever you are sitting eating lemons. :-)
Grow weed in it, you'll reach 260 000 000😊☝️
I think you've added a couple of extra zeros to your title there. It says 26 million watched your video instead of 260,000. 😀
I was talking about the one I did on Facebook, an that one have over 26 million views. :-)
