Huh so it looks like similar to Ame, Cover is giving her some sort of post graduation support while keeping things open for cameo or special apperances in the future
Sad to see her go, but this is a really positive direction in graduating. Chloe put in three years hard work, and Cover acknowledges that. Both sides being mature and open, no blame, and easing tension on the fans as much as possible so they can transition to the next life of the talent. While it may not be ideal, I wish other companies could adopt similar respect to talents.
follow your dreams, take care of your health for reasons like this i feel that a year book or scrap book is important, its good sales memorabilia especially if signed by all members or some class members, you just never know what happens or if a channel is closed out etc. plus its like any graduation the girls can also keep a free copy of the year book. well illustrated & designed of course.
thanks for watching, I saw some crazy rumours in JP's side. so I thought would be worth translating it. wish our cute stinky orca all the best in her future ~ ❤🖤
As long as Chloe was able to make this decision on her own terms and she feels it is best for her, the fans should support her 100%. People’s interests change over time, and sometimes it requires a change in environment to pursue your goals. This is a normal feeling in life, so fans should not be left with feelings of regret.
As I suspected, idol activities (apart from streaming activities) are too much for some which I also think was the case for Aqua and Ame. I hope she has a successful carrer ahead of her.
I suspected the same reasoning. And I’m sure she’ll be successful in her future incarnation. The fans will find her again and spread the word to other fans.
Aqua dreams literally to be an Idol so those activities aren't the reason Hololive changed something that these girls didn't like that they rather leave than adjust to it. Even Japanese fans are questioning Yagoo what is happening right now.
Is this why Hololive debut Dev_is? So that they have talent that is comfortable doing both? I personally think they should accommodate both ways though. Talent who wants to mostly streams and who wants to be idol.
I personally think Chloe had a great run in Hololive. I'm glad that she's thinking about work life balance and personal health as part the reason for graduating. I left my last job for the same reason: burnout every other month from unreasonable timelines. It wasn't healthy and I'm glad my current job, I'm no longer suffering from burnout. That being said, I'm going to miss this adorable orca. I'm a general Hololive fan with multiple oshis, so it's always sad to hear about a Holomember graduating. Regardless, I wish Chloe the best and hope that we still see her cameos in the future, as Chloe has alluded to. I mean, if Hololive has found a way to have occasional post-graduation cameos, I find that to be an ideal outcome given that other graduates and terminations have been permanent.
Goodbye, my sweet Orca Sakamata Chloe! You will always be within all our hearts! We love you and will support you as best as we can! With all the best wishes and luck on your future endeavors!
the fact that there are possibilities that she can still pop up post-graduation means she's doing the Ame way (though it looks like she still don't understand the concept of it). that could be showing up as a guest in events like holofest or anniversaries (if she wants to ofc).
Eh, it's fine. They should normalize graduations at this point, especially for veterans of many years. If they plan to stream under a new avatar, why pretend they aren't going to? Can't hurt to keep the door open for special appearances and merch sale profits. Some fans consider this a win over normal graduations.
I don't think it's the company's fault considering both of the jp people who left the company this year have very loyal fans. Considering the fact that people like Gura and Shion work so rarely, it is hard to believe that the company has kept them busy. They can and have refused to do the work that the company asks of them. They probably think that if they just leave the company, their loyal fans will follow them.
Idk but this isn't hurt like the others. Maybe because i expect 2 days early that she going to graduate. From overthinking the post really made me ready if ever those overthinking will come true.

My gut feeling is that Gawr Gura will follow in the footsteps of Chloe, Aqua, and Ame as her health deteriorates to the point where she rarely streams.
Some Hololive fans are deprived of drama that they'll cuss over diverging interests, the most common reason for successful people going separate ways with their companies, and make theories on how they could make the company work better. Or they're secretly sisters. Chloe's words is to calm down and don't blame anyone. Don't be a rumormonger, a doomposter. Believe in Chloe who believes in you.
Cover went public 2023. Has since released new idol groups over all branches. The in-house competition is huge. As an overseas viewer, i can tell you many holo creators stream at the same time. If 40k are watching one talent, you know you aren't getting SC like that. And with new indie creators from old times debut....another couple thousand viewers gone. So, imo it's best to go indie if you had over 1m subs. Take out 1 middle man worth of profit. Just my thoughts as a fan.
This year is really the worst for us, Vtuber fans. We'll miss our cute stinky Orca 😭😭 At least Chloe is leaving the Ame way. Let's hope we can see her again one day 🫡
100% with her, my love for the ones that makes us laugh and cry is inconditional, and after all the things that such talents has given and keep on giving us. Full support to all these girls that do their best.
So Chloe is going what Aqua has gone through, Suisei stated that CoverCorp has gotten so big & successful that they have to implement new & sometimes stricter policy of the management something which both now couldn't handle. The company she worked is successful but now they're Suffering from Success
I think the sentiment is out there, that many of the gils joined with the expectation of being vtubers mostly and now that cover has grown so much, corporate has made the licencing process much more complicated, and that takes away from the girls expression as streamers. They really need to think long and hard how to expedite those processes before they bleed out more talent.
@SleeplessClipper I've been thinking this for a long time that way of graduation would be great for the fans and hololive, it reminds me of anime AKB0048 where idol name is passed through new generations like monarchy system, this way as a fans we can still enjoy their legacy as part of hololive journey, i know every talents are different and have their unique characteristics but imagine one day when the time comes for mikochi graduate is too pain for me.
I found HL in early 2022. I jumped in head first and became too invested. Then Sana graduated and it was a remarkable wake up call. What she said really resonated and I reevaluated certain things. Not just with being too invested into online stuff but also much bigger issues. After that wake up call I've been a casual fan and kept my distance. Something like this is now "Ah, sh-. Here we go again." and doesn't really effect me anymore. Whether that's callous or whatever it's self preservation. I've lost touch with more people online than I can count. People I knew and talked to personally for years, bang, gone in an instant with no explanation. It just how the internet goes. From people stopping an MMO to people actually dying I've seen it all. It's always a sad ending and there are often no answers. If someone online you watch and you've never met leaving or disappears shatters your world or you feel abandoned or angry you need to self reflect. That just isn't healthy. Unfortunately, people don't learn these hard lessons until after the event occurs.
Keeping a good enough distance and limit, a good balance you could say, is a good thing to almost everything in life, especially in a relationship. By not being too protective, clingy, and/or too assertive, your partner will appreciate you more. My point is that, having a self-control of your own feelings to others is a good thing. I think in general, being a die hard or obsessed fan isn't very healthy, both to yourself and to the "idol" you idolizes. Lots of people misses this important thing to keep in mind of, and it's quite dangerous.
The workloads are too much indeed. Like Ame said "i'm just a guy who want to play games". Voice recording, Dance lesson & merchandise signature ain't a walk in park activity.... Well, keeping Chloe as affiliate means they can still milk her persona for money. Chloe were quite popular with "ocean theme" work, like aquarium....
I think ID members, even though there are only 3 generations, until now none of them have graduated, JP has already been fired and resigned, EN and EN have resigned too
Probably because being a Holo vtuber in Indonesia is much more stable and probably pays them better than other local jobs. Unlike in EN or JP where there are more career opportunities
@@Gigi-zr6hp idk man, cover pays them well, there's the time when Aki cant stream for a long time and she said she survived only with Cover's pay. Money is not the problem with these girls, its probably the workload.
@@Gigi-zr6hp That's nearly true, but no. Up until now, most of the retired members become indie livestreamers, even tho there are other career opportunities. Because at the end of the day, their main skillset is still to do livestreams The difference in Indonesia tho, becoming a vtuber/livestreamer without holoID affiliation is really really hard compared to EN/JP scene. So the girls are in comfort zone for now
I know everyone will graduate one day buy dang, every graduate holomem this year said they have different Path with company just what wrong with it man? Can't the girl just streaming and not having to much Meeting or Recording? It's to much for em. Just dont pressure the girl if they dont want to i beg you. cover.
I mean Cover is an idol vtuber company afterall so it is normal they are focused on dancing and sing and streaming is more like a side thing. But its also true that company might push their talents too hard. I do hope they can achieve common ground between their talent work/life schedule and the company's projects
@@SleeplessClipper yeah like Chloe said she often sick but she have so many Recording and going to studio that she feel chased, I mean if talent don't want to just don't? They have many talent that want to do idol stuff and merch, other that don't want to just don't push em. But she said they Have meeting about this graduation but ended up with graduate? I think they don't want to decrease the amount of meeting and recording stuff.
@@Kucing-pon2 “if talent dont want to just dont” idk how old you are, probably still in school or something… you don’t apply for a job at certain company and decided to not do whatever the work comes with that position. try working as a waiter and then tell your boss hey i just want to serve food to the customers i dont want to clean and see how it goes..
Guys, I’m afraid that this trend is just going to be a lot worse in the future. Expect a lot more graduations so we can prepare ourselves. I hope I’m wrong. Choco Laplus Shion Polka Moona Risu Gura Mumei Nerissa
I posted a speculation on Reddit and almost spot on why she is graduating but still I got bombarded by die hard "fans". They cant accept that cover is leaning towards an ugly japanese work culture
That's just a wokie myth actually. OECD stats have shown that the Japanese don't work all that much, nor are their regulations any more stricter than most nations.
Umisea left with Marine and Ina, Gura seems like she will follow in the footsteps of her Oshi and her best friends. In addition, Gura is also rarely seen being close to the new hololive members. Gura's health seems to be getting worse, especially since the flight from the East Coast of America to Japan will not be enjoyable for Gura. Then Gura's habit of consuming energy drinks in large quantities will worsen Gura's kidneys and health. So the next Hololive member to follow Chloe, Aqua, Ame, and Achan is Blue Shark who has been streaming less lately. Gawr Gura will graduate or do Ame's way soon.
Aghh man, im gonna stay inside blanket again🥲 healthy condition maybe Chloe had same situation like me, before i play games start 11am-3am... skip breakfast just eat on lunch & also im addicted to caffeine, well only take 1 year half i graduated got disease Gerd Gastric & Anxiety😅 rn over 2 years im back to healthy life & take care myself because if we hurt, no one would help us..

Chloe's words is to calm down and don't blame anyone. Don't be a rumormonger, a doomposter. Believe in Chloe who believes in you.
Word man. Thanks you 🙏that second paragraph 👍Glad to see someone understands the meaning of this clips and the message that Chloe trying to get across
well...at least not 2024 but 2025 will be starting rough
2025 will be better, I hope. . .
@@SleeplessClipper If you jinxed this then I will return to this post and say something.
Now the full members of gen is : Gen 0, Hololive ID and newer gen (Regloss, FlowGlow, Justice) 😭
You forgot Gamers and Advent tho ^^
the curse. . .
Nooooo😢
Wahh😢
Wait WHAT????
This year is really the worst for us, Vtuber fans. We'll miss our cute stinky Orca 😭😭
At least Chloe is leaving the Ame way. Let's hope we can see her again one day 🫡
100% with her, my love for the ones that makes us laugh and cry is inconditional, and after all the things that such talents has given and keep on giving us. Full support to all these girls that do their best.
One by one they leaving Covers and hololive...😢
So Chloe is going what Aqua has gone through, Suisei stated that CoverCorp has gotten so big & successful that they have to implement new & sometimes stricter policy of the management something which both now couldn't handle.
The company she worked is successful but now they're Suffering from Success
Like a giant star, they're strained because of their own mass and size.
Is she going to leave her character to cover like ame?
@@stray35p likely, I think that’s the new approach from Cover. Talent can choose to remain affiliated with the company
Going to miss that characters asset...
Do we know her PL account so we can follow?
No...just no😢😢
Thanks to Ame once again, pioneering the "graduate but still keep in touch", so at least it's not a forever goodbye.
Lots of people misses this important thing to keep in mind of, and it's quite dangerous.
o7
oh maan why this happen
The workloads are too much indeed.
Like Ame said "i'm just a guy who want to play games". Voice recording, Dance lesson & merchandise signature ain't a walk in park activity....
Well, keeping Chloe as affiliate means they can still milk her persona for money. Chloe were quite popular with "ocean theme" work, like aquarium....
another indie vtuber incoming
Because at the end of the day, their main skillset is still to do livestreams
The difference in Indonesia tho, becoming a vtuber/livestreamer without holoID affiliation is really really hard compared to EN/JP scene. So the girls are in comfort zone for now
:(
Sakamata Chloe took the AmeWay Path meaning she's following the same path as Amelia Watson did
I know everyone will graduate one day buy dang, every graduate holomem this year said they have different Path with company just what wrong with it man? Can't the girl just streaming and not having to much Meeting or Recording? It's to much for em. Just dont pressure the girl if they dont want to i beg you. cover.
I mean Cover is an idol vtuber company afterall so it is normal they are focused on dancing and sing and streaming is more like a side thing. But its also true that company might push their talents too hard. I do hope they can achieve common ground between their talent work/life schedule and the company's projects
@@SleeplessClipper isnt they pivoting from that and said they're an entertainment company?
@@Adiarby13 Thank you for saying this.
Hololive keeps losing talents due to their policy shifts. They should be extremely careful with the direction they are heading.
Guys, I’m afraid that this trend is just going to be a lot worse in the future. Expect a lot more graduations so we can prepare ourselves. I hope I’m wrong.
Choco
Laplus
Shion
Polka
Moona
Risu
Gura
Mumei
Nerissa
How tf did you fit rissa in there?
At this point I’m pretty sure Laplus won’t graduate out of sheer spite
@@cortesyes just my gut feeling. She seems like someone who would proceed going the indie route or seeking a more open agency like Vshoujo.
Gawr Gura will graduate or do Ame's way soon.
she’s going to start doing onlyfans?!?!
Shut up.
no. why would you think that?
Probably.
my dirty ahh mind immediately think "maybe she'll do like canan stuff" iykyk
