I think it's about time you got your hands on more beers from Heller Bräu Thun (owner and founder of the ‘Schlenkerla’ brand) so that you can drink some really good brews again! You're already familiar with their regular smoked beer, but this small Bamberg brewery has even more to offer: Urbock: it's a classic bock beer that's only available in autumn. It may even be that they only have it on tap and don't sell it in bottles. In any case, I've only ever drunk it in their brewery. Rauchweizen: as the name suggests, this is a wheat beer with smoked malt mixed in, which gives the beer a slight smokiness (not as strong as the regular Rauchbier). Lager: Heller Bräu Thun also has this type of beer, but it is brewed in the same copper kettles as the smoked beer, which gives it a very subtle smoky flavour as no smoked malt is used. Kräusen: this is a very rare type of beer these days. Green beer (beer that is still in the process of brewing) is added to a ready-brewed beer during bottling, which provides fresh carbon dioxide in the bottle. In the case of Schlenkerla, this is their lager to which märzen green beer is added. Fastenbier: unfortunately I can't say anything about it, because I've simply never drunk it. Eiche: the ‘Eiche’ variety is a doppelbock brewed with malt that has been dried by oak smoke. Schlenkera usually uses beech wood for the smoking process. Unfortunately, the beer is only available around Christmas and but in bottles too! Weichsel: this is a red ale brewed with malt smoke-dried over sour cherry wood and also noble hops. The smoke flavour is rather mild and the beer is fruity! Erle: last but not least, there is "Erle": a black beer brewed with malt that has been smoked and dried over alder wood. I hope you can get hold of these beers one day, because you'll love them!
Never had a Hacker out of the can, i want these beers to be good/ outstanding but always something that I can’t put my finger on if that makes sense…maybe the bottles or how they travelled effect the beers 👀 anyway good video as always.
I like this beer but I don't think it stacks up against the Paulaner weissbier, which I think is king amongst the "light" ones (sniderwiesse tap 9 dunkle weissbier is the absolute pinnacle)! It's all a very subjective matter though, to ne the Franiskaner has a smoked bacon flavour to it that I just don't like! The Aldi Rhinebacker, considering it's only £1.29 a bottle deserves a mention! Sorry, just the ramblings of a weissbier obsevive!

Weiss Weiss baby is top teir punning!
If think George in German is pronounced “gay-org”, that’s what my German teacher in school said anyway.
I’ve had this but never in a can, very nice.
Ah! You know full well I'll have forgotten the correct pronunciation by the time I talk about this again, but it's nice to know! Cheers bud!

That Rhinebacker certainly isn't bad! And for the price, what a bargain! Cheers!
