Hello - I have a 1911 bottle of E H Taylor - bottled during prohibition. Cork intact - minimal decrease in volume. would I be able to ask you questions on it? and/or would anyone on here be interested in purchasing it?

I've had an ever changing infinity bottle for the past 8 to 10 years. Up until about a year or so ago it only has had scotch single malt or blended malt whiskies added to it. I recently began adding Irish single malt & American single malt whisky as well. Presently the flavor profile is at an incredible stage. The most recent contributions came from Glen Moray original & 12 year, Glenlivet Caribbean Cask, Stranahan's Blue Peak, Tomatin 18, and a small splash from Lagavulin 8, 11 and 16 year. I'm gauging what direction to take next. Fun shit!

Tried this on draught in a lovely pub in Warwick, was bloody lovely. Will be looking for it everywhere!

In the US pre-pandemic I got one of these and it was $105 before tax and it was 750 ML size. It was Springbank funk with Sherry notes mixed in and quite complex and wonderful to me. I only got another bottle middle of last year. For 160 US. I hope it’s good. I can’t wait to see the rest of your reviews throughout the year.

I really like this concept of having the same Whiskey throughout the year. I often think the neck pour can bias someone so this is really cool to me.

What nonsense, it is simply the best beer, full of surprising flavors, it makes you cry when the glass is empty. A Trappist beer to enjoy in the summer

Makers 101 I find to be a massive let down. WT101 is better in my view. Rare Breed destroys it.

Thank you for posting this entertaining video. I enjoy both these bourbons very much. However, my go to has to be Wild Turkey 101. At my local military liquor shop, I can purchase a 1 liter bottle of Wild Turkey 101 for just $19 (US). So affordable. If my local shop raised the price another $15, I would still buy it because it's so damn good. Thanks.

EC small batch is the worst bottle I've tasted all year. Did I get a bad bottle or is my palate off? It is pure salt. Like a good bourbon, but with a cup of salt added. I'm not too picky, but this is just awful. maybe I can choke it down with some sugary soda. I must've gotten a bad bottle?

I’m on my fourth or fifth bottle of this and I always feel like it has more Springbankiness than the 10. I’ve had some batches that are sweeter than others and prefer the less sweet batches. I look forward to your next year of reviews on this bottle!

Our bud light and coors in the US are both 4.2%. Our corona and budweiser are 5%. I wonder why they are different

Bought one off the shelf 7 years ago....best bottle I had ever tasted. Won a second one in a lottery a few years ago, and holding onto that one!

In Germany I get the BT with 90 Proof (45 ABV) for about 25 Euros for a Liter, while Eagle Rare 10 is at least 40 Euros for just 0.7 Liters. I really like both of them, but the difference becomes much smaller if you get the BT with 45 ABV.

Great video as usual Tom. Great concept to the video, and interesting findings. The joy of whisky eh? Never mind batch variations, the differences in even an individual bottle as it goes down is amazing. I'm in Cambpeltown for 5 nights in April and can't wait. Got a few tours booked, including one in Springbank. I'm just praying there will be some bottles available to buy when I'm there. Cheers Tom

I had the same Feeling when I tried it the first time. When I got to half the bottle. It just tasted amazing 🥃👌

I had a very similar exp with the 2024 Bottling of the SB 10. A nice whisky but not the experience i kept hearing from others. Not much "funk" Nice but not a complex "challenging" exciting dram as i was led to believe. Hopefully after a few months things may change

Have a similar feeling about the 15, I still like it but the truest expression of SB for me is the 12CS, Ive tried the 18, 21 and even a 30 which are all mind blowing but the 12 is just the best experience for my tastes.

you used to be able to get it no problem as it was just an unfashionable whisky I think the last one I had I paid about 60 quid, just cant get it now for any sensible money, its got a real funk to it which did polarise opinion...but as you just cant buy it now in a shop its unlikely I will get a bottle again

$80 bucks and 80 proof in the states. I like it. But so much better stuff in that price range.

I love the 15, and almost always find it well ahead of the Springbank 10. That said, I think you stopped by the same month I was in Campbeltown and I will say I preferred the 10 at the Washback bar on that trip. I think the last 10 was exceptional, and this 15 was one of my least favorite batches of all time. That said, I am hoping that it opens up as I have a bottle as well.

Never had a dram of Springbank. Got a tasting session in London at the Whisky exchange next week. May get a taste of the liquid hopefully.

Springbanks need Time and Temperature in the Glass to open up😅, and a Drop or 2 of Water help a lot. Fresh poured the are shy.

This is one of my favourites . Unfortunately its been discovered hence the price . I keep waiting for the market crash , but it doesn't seem to be coming any time soon . Bring back the 80's

I’ve just had a couple of drams of the springbank 15. Absolute stunning. Sherried, full bodied, oily, beautiful mouth feel, long finish. Price is big, but if affordable, buy it.

Taddy porter by Samuel Smiths is by far my favorite. I can drink 8-9% IPAs and I feel better with Taddy Porter. He'll of a lot smother. But the price is about double. I'm looking for a Taddy Porter beer. That is lesser In Price. I live in southern California and Taddy Porter is $7 and change for 24 Oz. Or Space Dust is $25.00 for 12 pack of 12oz. Other IPAs could be around $21.00 after tax.
