If you can find any, try some Westland or Westward. They seem to be the brands to go to for American Single Malt. I haven't tried them myself because, even as an American, I don't have a ton of experience with American single malt, but people seem to really like them. Stranahan's and Balcones are fairly well liked as well. Jack Daniels is more of a mass market brand, so I wouldn't expect anything super stellar out of them unless it's a cask strength product.
I will do cheers! This I just stumbled on an opportunity to get so took the plunge. It's an interesting talking point bottle, but unlikely to be a repeat purchase. Cheers!
Do you think they’ve just acquired a cask from one of their Scottish distilleries they own and just bottled it as a JD. It would save them shed loads of cash doing that way. Who knows.
Jack Daniels single malt.....meh ! Now start talking to me about the Weller that you've got on the back shelf and you've got my interest, lol. The trouble with JD is that they are definitely trying to grow into other markets, are they going to start making tequila, gin and vodka next ? I don't mind their rye offerings at all but branching out into that is very similar to Bourbon anyway so it's well connected but 'Single malts' is a different thing entirely. If I could give their head honcho one piece of advice it would be,"Stay in your lane buddy, because that's where you excel". Great video with an honest review, keep 'em coming Tom.
Haha, I was wondering how long it'd take for someone to spot the Weller! Just one video! It's a Weller Full Proof The Whisky Shop Store Pick, still available, but bit pricey! I managed to get it with a bit of a reduction thankfully. Not sure when it'll get cracked open mind but couldn't resist! Cheers!
Look's fantastic, great review!
Cheers! Thank you
great review !
Thank you Sir!

Very interesting tasting and review! I haven't had this Jack Daniel's travel exclusive Single Malt whisky!
Triple mash is the best thing JD have ever done.
Triple Mash is lovely. It's also the only way you can easily get even a whiff of the JD American Single Malt in the US!

I really don't to be honest, it had very little Scottish flair to it. Of course, not impossible. But I would be very surprised. Cheers!
100% ground, fermented and distilled in Lynchburg!
