As a person who used to own beta fish, I loved feeding them. My mom and I used to go to petco to get a beta fish. I didn’t really have any kits to keep the fish alive. Each lasted a couple years without it. My first fish was named Clem. I got that name from this character named Clem from Plum Landing. I got those fish one at a time so after clem died we got another one named rainbow. And my last one was named delta after rainbow died. Delta’s dead and I have just my cats named Miles and Paipai
Fish don’t die too easily, it’s just owners that don’t give them the right cages. For example, keeping betas together can result in them killing eachother, ( there literally called fighting fish ) keeping them in a fish bowl, ( which is bad because they are to small ) and most people don’t know these things because they never do any bit of research but only ask the pet store workers that only lie to make you buy the fish.
My pet cat is only fantastic because she’s very dog like 🤣 Very loyal, quite friendly but also kinda shy, loves pets, gives kisses (though you’d prefer she not cause that tongue feels like a damn nail file on your skin), gives endless biscuits (seriously she can walk and biscuit at the same time) and gets serious zoomies therefore needs to play for 1 hour inside and 2 hours outside because she loves to climb trees and hunt. For a female cat, she’s the best out there especially since she was born to a feral litter. Our family has scottish fold cats and they have all the positives of dogs, but they cats, it is awesome. But in my opinion with dogs it is 99% great and 1% bad. While with cats it is 50-50 either the best pet ever or the most evil mf you have ever owned.

Ramiel was the sweetest little girl, she loved being picked up and she loved our heater. Before she died she broke our heater on accident, though. My mom bought Micheal to replace her, they looked the same except for facial features. (They were both ginger and white.) and Milo was a black and white cat. All three were so sweet, so cuddly. Although Milo’s name was Micah before and he acted just like the demon he was accidentally named after. 💀💀 He was still sweet, but he gave Micheal all hell. I miss all three of them. Our special babies.
I had a pet squirrel once, it’s mother was hit by a car in the middle of the road, and this little 2 week old squirrel is just sitting in the middle of a sidewalk, so I took him home, and it lived with us happily for 6 whole years, RIP peanut the squirrel.

I had a pet turtle. The only pet I ever had. His name was Webster, an African turtle breed. I found him outside my house and would wash, feed, and play with him everyday. After she finished cleaning him, she put him on ground then began cleaning his tub. And before I continue I must say this, Webster was a sob. That turtle was the Usain Bolt of reptiles. So I would make sure to keep close eyes on him. Back to the story, she was cleaning the tub and decided to check her phone. The next minute Webster was gone, no trace of him was to be found. Yeah so my turtle ran away while I was away. I missed that brown-shelled bastard.
My dog passed away in November. 3 days before I would've seen him for Thanksgiving break. Homie was around for 13 years of my life and was kicking like a puppy till the end. I've never been a pet owner until now but all I can say is that... Humans are the best pets to have, I usually keep them in the basement and they seem happy for the most part. If you want to be a human owner, you can always lure them with money or candies.

Cats are for the single person that spends a ton of time away from home. Quiet, don't need to take it on walks, and it doesn't get depressed when you leave it alone for 8-12 hours of the day.

I had a pet snake. I named him Slithers. I had him for about 2 years. Then he died. Not because we mistreated him, but because he got hurt, and the cut got infected. He was very sweet, only accidentally bit my mom once, and I miss him. Not all snakes are mean, he was a very chill ball python. I held him and he liked to try and slither behind my neck and once he tried to go down my shirt because I was warm, but that’s besides the point. R.I.P Slithers, you were loved.

As somebody who owned a hamster, she lived for 2 and a half years. [Which is really long for a hammy] Her name was angela, and she was easily the best hamster ever. She died from old age, and we were there in her last moments. We put her in a floral box [Sorta like a small coffin] and burried her under a large tree on a trail. RIP Angela, she was best hammy. And also, I can fully agree on the cat thing with only _one_ of my past cats. I now have a cat named beatle and he's so sweet. He loves pets, and cuddles. And I used to have a cat named echobod who was a sweet old man in the body of a cat.

As a cat owner of 2, I love both my cats with all my heart. My oldest cat (13 years old) absolutely hates me but will be nice when he wants to, while my youngest cat (5-6 years old; idk) loves me. She will get mad at me for messing around with her and then act all friendly and affectionate like 2 minutes later. She even follows me to the bathroom and sleeps next to me at night. She's a good cat. I still love the older cat though. He's cute too and plays with rocks sometimes

I had a pet turtle. The only pet I ever had. His name was Webster, an African turtle breed. I found him outside my house and would wash, feed, and play with him everyday. On the weekdays, I would ask my sister to watch and clean him while I was getting my edumacation. So one day, my sister took him outside to clean him and his tube. After she finished cleaning him, she put him on ground then began cleaning his tub.
And before I continue I must say this, Webster was a sob. That turtle was the Usain Bolt of reptiles. So I would make sure to keep close eyes on him. Back to the story, she was cleaning the tub and decided to check her phone. The next minute Webster was gone, no trace of him was to be found.
Yeah so my turtle ran away while I was away. I missed that brown-shelled bastard.

My dog passed away in November. 3 days before I would've seen him for Thanksgiving break. Homie was around for 13 years of my life and was kicking like a puppy till the end. i had a cat named shiver who was the sweetest boy ever, he loved kisses and being held like a baby he was cuddly and would raise random kittens like he was their mother even letting one nurse on him once. he drank water with his paw and loved donuts and ham he was super talkative too. i miss him a lot, rip shiver

Humans are the best pets to have, I usually keep them in the basement and they seem happy for the most part. If you want to be a human owner, you can always lure them with money or candies.

I had him for about 2 years. Then he died. Not because we mistreated him, but because he got hurt, and the cut got infected.
He was very sweet, only accidentally bit my mom once, and I miss him.
Not all snakes are mean, he was a very chill ball python. I held him and he liked to try and slither behind my neck and once he tried to go down my shirt because I was warm, but that’s besides the point.

As somebody who owned a hamster, she lived for 2 and a half years. [Which is really long for a hammy] Her name was angela, and she was easily the best hamster ever. She died from old age, and we were there in her last moments. We put her in a floral box [Sorta like a small coffin] and burried her under a large tree on a trail. RIP Angela, she was best hammy.

Same bro, my first dog was there before me, but like i grew up with him, hes buryied in our backyard after that like a 2or 2 years later we got another one, same race btw they are all american Staffordshire terrier (might be wrong my english is not that great) but he died later shortly after a new years night due to a tumor he had inner blooding threw it and they couldnt rescue him.... We or better my parents cuz it was too much for me buried him also in our backyard...which is btw illegal in Germany for whatever reason but i dont care, neither my parents nor my friends like most people dont even know thats a thing and many also dont care cuz well its our dog we wont just give him or her away because some crappy law...(tbh im not even sure if that law is actually real if it is i also wouldnt care)....Half a years or one and a half years later , we got our current dog... I owned a turtle once, along with 2 of my brothers. We named ours after ninja turtles, but we couldn't get our mom to buy a fourth so we didn't have a Michelangelo.
