    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup Bajra (Pearl Millet) Flour
    4 cups Water
    1/2 cup Jaggery (or to taste)
    1 tbsp Ghee (Clarified Butter)
    1/2 tsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
    1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
    1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
    1/4 tsp Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth)
    A pinch of Salt
    2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
    Instructions:
    Roast Bajra Flour:
    In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 1 tbsp of ghee.
    Add 1/2 cup of bajra flour and roast it on a low flame. Keep stirring continuously until the flour turns aromatic and golden brown. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to burn the flour.
    Prepare the Mixture:
    Once the flour is roasted, add 4 cups of water gradually, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
    Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring.
    Add Jaggery and Spices:
    Once the mixture starts to boil, add 1/2 cup of jaggery. Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely.
    Add 1/2 tsp of ajwain, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp of black pepper powder, 1/4 tsp of dry ginger powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
    Cook the Raab:
    Reduce the heat to low and let the raab simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
    Finish with Lemon Juice:
    Once the raab has thickened to your desired consistency, turn off the heat.
    Add 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice and give it a final stir.
    Serve Hot:
    Pour the bajra ni raab into serving glasses or bowls. Serve it hot for the best experience.

    Extremely nutritious traditional Raab Recipe. This is especially good for young mothers, girls during menstruation as it is high in iron, folic acid, calcium. It helps in rejuvenation of the uterus. Bajra and milk are healthy foods during lactation. Ghee is good for the bones. Dry fruits are a healthy & nutritious source of unadulterated protein. So many benefits from so little effort.
