Right when i think i dont need another way to cook this guy comes in and WRECKS it!! Now i want a griddle on side of my smoker bc why not!!!!!! Meat Church Lyfe!!!
This looks good and easy for a weeknight dinner. I use Benihana’s fried rice recipe which is a little more prep work but I switch out the proteins. Everyone’s favorite is chopped up left over rib meat. I’ve also used shrimp, bacon, and Spam.
I love the out of the box recipes like the cheese and now this. I can already see where this is going you're going to make me want to buy a Loco griddle.
Looks great, jealous of your level griddle! I have another vendors 36" griddle that i haven't leveled up, when you crack an egg on it you need to chase it around!
You should make the fried rice and then cook additional eggs over easy to lay on top. Then break the yoke and mix them in. So amazing and perfect for those wonderful hangover midnight cooks
He's gonna flip out. Even I was flipping out when he used half a bottle of sesame and hardly any soy sauce, and waited too long to add the soy sauce on top of it
Brother. You just won a fan! I’m a Nor Cal cook that loves Asian food. However it’s always been a mystery for balance and honoring the flavor profiles. You knocked it out of the park and demystified it. Fucking Thank You. It was the perfect Saturday brunch hangover cure. I went with marinated pork tenderloin, cabbage and broccolini sautéed in pepper bacon ends. Deglazed the cabbage with my quick pickled onion vinegar. Can’t wait to try your spice blends. Is there a meat church restaurant I can visit? Again, thank you Brother!!!
I did a similar concept using some different flavors for New Years Day feast. I used the leftover rice from Hoppin' John and some roasted cabbage steak chopped up. Also added a splash of Lane's BBQ 'Itsa Vinegar' sauce. Full win
Oh damn… I been looking at griddles lately, and this Loco looks awesome. I’m gonna have to fight the urge to buy this thing because I don’t have a place to put all this equipment AND I’m not looking for a divorce. Awesome recipe and video. Meat Church is always innovating and evolving.
Hey Matt. You are my go to guy for great smoker recipies. How bout a breakfast burrito recipe with chorizo. I'm having a hard time finding anywhere around me that serves one. I have my own version but would love to have your take on it. Keep it up !!!
If you have never tried toasted sesame oil you really should. It is a world apart so much better than regular sesame oil! Just throwing that out there! I’ve got some pulled pork I’m about to make this with and I came here looking for ideas so thank you!
Man that looks divine !!!!! i love the fact that you left the food a lone and let the griddle do its job. Seems like every time some dude does a griddle cook he thinks he has to chop and chop and chop and chop basically beat the living hell out of some rice. You knocked this out of the park.
Hey Matt, thanks for the awesome Cameo birthday wish you did for my buddy today. You did a great job and it totally made his day. I highly recommend a Matt Pittman Cameo message. This looks delicious. Now I have to start looking at griddles.
Matt! A local shop on Vancouver Island has your spices!!! Super stoked to be able to find em locally. Thanks for all the vids and recipes! Keep at it. Someday ill be coming to visit you guys in Texas!
Did yall make this at the state fair in 2022? I remember a recipe just like this in the demonstration kitchen in the fine arts building. It was amazing

Looks amazing. That loco looks cool as hell, as well. I’m a big Miller lite guy as well but I finally got my liquor store to stock some Texas beer in Cincinnati! Shiner bock!!!
That griddle is bada$$...and my favorite recipe for the griddle always!!! And sesame oil is the key...I've forgotten it before and definitely noticed. I'm not blaming how many beers I'd had to that point. Also add some ground ginger on top of the Voodoo and thank me later.
Excellent! Great tip on getting that rice just right. Will do for sure. Keep rocking these recipes and tips. Been thinking of getting a griddle….this may have been the straw….lol.
Pork belly, sounds interesting and GREAT! Gotta try that one. I have been making pork fried rice with the deboned rib meat from my baby backs or spares. when I do ribs, I always smoke an extra rack or two to debone, chop and freeze for when we do pork fried rice. I just don't sauce the racks I'm going to save for the fried rice. Dry rub only. Try it. You'll never do pork fried rice any other way ever again.
Hi buddy,..Ohh wow, it's look so delicious, yet simple too😋my most favorite fried rice & definitely will tryout this recipes🙏, thanks for sharing n lets get connected!!👌🤗
Matt, do you leave the rice in the refrigerator overnight covered or uncovered? I assume uncovered so it helps dry it out, but curious what you do exactly on this step.
from a korean guy you get a 10/10
Made my day!!!!! 👊🏽
Uncle Roger 100% needs to do a reaction to this video. I’d like to give this a try!

Nicely done Matt! Digging that griddle too!
I'm with you. Asian food is one of my favorites outside of BBQ. Definitely will be giving this recipe a try, awesome Matt!
Love the fried rice idea...I'm always looking to expand the repertoire, especially with leftover brisket (or whatever else).
I love the out of the box recipes like the cheese and now this. I can already see where this is going you're going to make me want to buy a Loco griddle.
I just got a new Blackstone griddle …. Now I want a loco lol
Looks great, jealous of your level griddle! I have another vendors 36" griddle that i haven't leveled up, when you crack an egg on it you need to chase it around!
I just got my griddle delivered . This will be my first meal cooked on it ! Looks delicious.
That griddle is awseome …. Just bought a Blackstone but now I want this one lol

BBQ stir fry is one of my boys' favorite meals. Lots of leftover BBQ has gone into it!
Can't believe you don't have over a million subscribers yet. You matt are a badass and are under-rated. Love your vids! Keeps on rocking brother!
The griddle is a game changer!! My favorite way to cook
Super fun.

Thanks for the recipe!!!! Did this and it was a HUGE hit at our Memorial Day get-together. We are already planning different variations on it
Man, griddle cooking is so aesthetically pleasing. Waiting for the weather to break up in Buffalo to bring mine out again!
👊🏽
What a great way to use leftover pork belly burnt ends. I always make a little too much for the family and now can make this. Thanks as always!
Had this earlier today at a friend’s house. All of us who tried it are Asian (Koreans and Chinese) and we loved it!
Hey Matt, thanks for the awesome Cameo birthday wish you did for my buddy today. You did a great job and it totally made his day. I highly recommend a Matt Pittman Cameo message. This looks delicious. Now I have to start looking at griddles.

I've been using Meat Church rubs and seasoning with my KBBQ recipes for weekend grills with fam and friends. Gotta try this now!
Awesome feedback.

The recipe looks delicious as always but the star of this video is that griddle! I need it!
Another great recipe for left over brisket... Thank you
Matt never failing to impress us! Keep it up my man!
Excellent twist to a great meal!
Nice technique with the chopsticks. I can't do it. Great fusion recipe there. Nice griddle.
Thank you!!!
BBQHack makes a nice griddle insert for your pellet grill. Saves some deck space.
Nice change of pace and I look forward to giving Fried Rice a shot.
Griddle looked awesome. Great job
Looks amazing. That loco looks cool as hell, as well. I’m a big Miller lite guy as well but I finally got my liquor store to stock some Texas beer in Cincinnati!
Shiner bock!!!
Throw some toasted sesame sides on top; it takes the flavor to a whole new level... plus, some extra texture.
Big fan of all Asian too! This video is a winner, winner, Asian dinner!
Dang …. That looks bomb !!! I can’t wait to try this. Great job my friend !!!! Love love love your video’s
Looks great! Almost could smell it...lol Love that griddle.
A BBQ Fried Rice Video? Oh, come on Uncle Roger (mrnigelng ) - we need a review on this one!
That griddle is bada$$...and my favorite recipe for the griddle always!!! And sesame oil is the key...I've forgotten it before and definitely noticed. I'm not blaming how many beers I'd had to that point. Also add some ground ginger on top of the Voodoo and thank me later.
Looks good Matt, might have to get that outside griddle out of the garage and onto the back porch.
Fried rice is a staple in my house. This looks like a great variation.
You should definently try the Korean way, by adding melted cheese ontop. You'll be blown away
That loco griddle is awesome
Game changer.
Excellent! Great tip on getting that rice just right. Will do for sure. Keep rocking these recipes and tips. Been thinking of getting a griddle….this may have been the straw….lol.
Matt yer killin me with this one. So hungry now. And now I go online to see how much that griddle is ! Gonna sit down first.
Pork belly, sounds interesting and GREAT! Gotta try that one.

It’s great with Char-siu (Chinese BBQ Pork) too! 😋
Thanks for sharing the great content! You're the best!
Matt! One thing you forgot to do was, move the rice over to the pork belly!!! You left a bunch of flavor on the right side of that grill!
This is a new staple at the crib 🤙
Awesome! We cannot wait to get the LoCo Griddle!
Holy voodoo fried rice is a must try! You're the best Matt
Try it on Spaghetti next time you have it if you haven't tried it. It's amazing.
@@ReverendPONT never would've thought but will definitely try that out too!
@@clintbartenstein6876 it's good Brutha. We used to use cajun seasoning on spaghetti but this is our go to now. It's an Acadian thing.
Love fried rice, try a touch of seasoned rice vinegar too. You wont hate it.
Would love an update on that Loco. I want one but worried about reliability issues I keep hearing about
Really like the hat I would buy one hopefully you can bring it back and really enjoy all your vids
can you do some BBQ based versions of other popular Asian dishes? S&S chicken, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef etc?
What would you recommend as a substitution for sesame oil if a family member has an allergy to it?
Safflower oil. It’s what they use at Benihana.
The egg is the key, glad you added.
You just fulfilled my Sunday food idea.
Just made this for Mother’s Day with left over brisket. 🤯🤯🤯. Matt Pittman is the BBQ Jesus. All praise🤣🤣🤣
Love it!
I see you with the Jordan Delta’s👍 BBQ and Jordan’s! Subscribed 🤙
Definitely needs some scallions chopped up in there... ;) A little green is a good thing. 👍 Some hot sauce to finish is perfect.
Awesome, I just scored a Blackstone 36" for $100, but that LOCO does look special. "I ain't made at it." Good stuff!! Doug
OMG, I'm drooling 🤤!
Nice ! 👍
Texas Pork Fried Rice is a winner!
Can you use a smoker in the same manner if you have a griddle?
What are the dimensions of that griddle? I want to get one but I don’t want it to be too small. That size looks just right.
Just ordered my Loco Griddle!
Great way to use up that left over packed brisket!
Looks solid! Sesame oil is super potent, I'd definitely use less, then add more to you all's taste.
Hi buddy,..Ohh wow, it's look so delicious, yet simple too😋my most favorite fried rice & definitely will tryout this recipes🙏, thanks for sharing n lets get connected!!👌🤗
great job Matt, thank you...I envy your chopstick skills. I'm too clumsy.
Uncle Roger will have to review your fried rice, will it be a fuiyoh or a haiyah?
Im not joking, the more of these videos I watch, the more Im planning on moving to Texas.
you are an amazing cook love it
🥰🥰
One of the best meals Iv ever had in my life was brisket fried rice from Circa in Vegas. Forget the name of the restaurant but it was the real deal.
You’re a CEO?! That’s awesome bro.
Looks great and easy
i am gonna have to get me a flat top now. ;) looks great, thank you for the awesome video.
Matt, do you leave the rice in the refrigerator overnight covered or uncovered? I assume uncovered so it helps dry it out, but curious what you do exactly on this step.
Cant speak for Matt, but my best results always come from uncovered...
Wok and Tumble. Its fun.
UncleRoger would say MORE MSG ! lol. Awesome Job - hmmm might be time to replace my Blackstone !
Love this new flat top. Very nice👍🔥🇺🇸
Will the rub/seasoning rack be available soon?
... best chopstick skills of any white boy he had ever seen.. then eats with a spoon :D nice recipe!
I will try it.
