- Range tests matter! Especially if you're not in the US and have to live with CE mode. FCC mode is about 4 times stronger than CE mode thus giving much better range/penetration.
Enabling FCC mode is so easy. Just do the ham_cfg_support.txt mod.

It's interesting that most people claim that it needs to be a blank FILE-type. That is, no .txt. It still worked for you?
It's always been an empty txt file that been required. Even the naco mod was the same.

Yeah, NFZ and altitude unlock is definitely needed.
Does this "hack" also work with the dji integra glasses?
Yes it does.

@@Timx27 it's really one of those things... I know it's illegal do do more than 70 kph but people do... I have never heard of anyone being caught using fcc
The new update on 8th December for the DJI Avata will not allow you to install this, which is annoying. The new firmware will not allow you to change the channel mode in Transmission settings. Very annoying.
The ham_support.cfg files is stored on the goggles and not on the drone. But yes, dji is always looking for ways to block things that we need...

In the settings where it says channel mode, do you have to select channel 3 or do you leave it on auto?

For a Fpv drone that’s good but for a DJI that’s bad my Mini2 can do 3 times that but would I buy it probably
Mini 2 is for a completely different use case, but I get what you're saying.

Yes, this range test was done on the v2 goggles.
Does this work with the latest firmware?
So far I've tested yes. My avata was on the latest firmware when I did this test.

No, its been used for years and years and the FPV community has tested that theory already.
Hey, is there a way to remove the Drone ID on the Mavic 3. (New Firmware). I also got the pro controller, maybe you can do something with that?
Hi there! As far as I know you cannot do it on the latest firmware... sorry man.

It works on both the dji goggles 2 and goggles v2

considering buying this drone for uk, i have large property i can fly around fcc mode is a must. Does the ham file mod still work on all the latest firmwares ect. Can they patch this in future updates? Thanks in advance
Yes it does as far as I know, there is currently no dronehacks support for the avata. But I know they are trying their best to support it.
hi when the hack is applied successfully, do we leave the transmission in manual 40 hz or do we leave it in auto?
Leave it on auto, that way the O3 system can pick the best frequencies
