FYI you don't have to take off the metal clips from injector connectors (and alike)
Press the clip inwards and the connector will be released

You don't have to take the metal clips on injectors. Push in on them and injector just pulls out.

It is for the coolant temperature sensor

Sth_Euro Mk6 & B6 I think I forgot to put it back on, I have a coolant temp sensor error on my obd would putting that back on fix it or you think the sensor is stuffed?

Kon I would try putting the clip in and clearing the code and see if it comes back maybe the sensors not seated properly and that could be why your getting the code. If not then I would just replace the sensor. If that doesn’t work then I’d check the other coolant temp sensor at the bottom that goes into the lower radiator hose
