Snow Chief, Ferdinand and Broad Brush....."here comes that quarter pole!" Great memories amazing prolific winner Broad Brush had a fever few days earlier talk was to be scratched but they ran him tried very hard but tired understandable in the stretch. Snow Chief desperate to hold off Ferdinand all 3 champions. God Bless them all.
Watched the race from the Gold Coast Casino with my dad. He was on Ferdinand and I was on Snow Chief. He told me I was wasting my money. I had to sweat out the finish but snow chief got the nose down.
