Same. I was at that Derby. I was stunned. Ok, he didn't win, but I didn't expect a 5th place finish and 11 lengths back from the winner, Monarchos, a horse who had no shot in H E DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS of winning the Triple Crown. Gary Stevens, who was told about Point Given having sensitive feet that day and would not like the hard and fast track. Stevens admitted he blew the race by getting Point Given too close to the hot pace.

I miss him a ton. I'd visit him quite often at the Kentucky Horse Park. He was a doll.
