MICROCHIP - Secret Weapon for Low Water Smallmouth Bass !

Simple little minnow that’s easy to cast and easy to fish. Float line, intermediate, or sink tip, this will ride along with any fly line you’ve got. Sometimes smaller is better, especially in low clear water, with pressured fish, which is becoming more and more common these days. It’s been said smallmouth really key in on injured/dying baitfish, and I have found this to be true. Thus, another “sideways swimmer” design that’s been very productive for me. When the fish have seen it all, something new and different can give you the edge.

Thread: Veevus GSP 100 White
Tail: Bugger Marabou White
Flash: Krystal Flash (purple here)
Body: Finesse Chenille (white)
Eye: 1/4” Super Pearl 3D Adhesive
Glue: Loctite Gel, and Loon Resin (Thin)

another nice one... you could wrap the shaft with some Krystal flash to give a hint of a lateral line and red maker for gills and add 30 seconds to a five-minute tie

Always good to mix it up. Show them something different. Try this around dock lights too, I’m sure it would work there as well.

Will this ride hook point up????

Negative, the hook bend will keep it riding as a normal streamer would. But it flutters wildly when stripped. Similar to a redfish spoon fly. Thanks for watching !
