Alison has the voice of an angel. Robert is one of my favorite lead rock vocalists of all time. God had to be involved in putting these two together.

Wow man. Agreed. I remember when I was in grade school. The class went to a city of Phoenix orchestra and I was able to see colors for the first time. I still feel it.
Robert Plant still sounds so good. A lot of other aging rockers don’t even compare.
A lot of them are not here anymore. The one who really shocked me was Tom Petty...he was only like 62. I believe that Robert has ridden horses his whole life...that alone keeps your body strong and in good shape.
He needs 2 tour with Zep and Jason Bonham and quit collaborating with the young girl hes infatuated with. I get it but nobody cares abt her they just want Zep on tour 1 last time

I think that is because he's opened to new adventures in music (who would've thought he'd team up with a country voice like Alison?).
He's never let himself go stale.
In 2006, I was hit by an emotional tsunami (as a close friend worded it). My wonderful husband passed away, my son was deployed to Afghanistan, I was laid off from a job that I loved, and the engine in my vehicle seized up. This song spoke to me at that time.
Alison Krause can heal with that angel voice! Prayers that you are healing, trusting and still loving. 🥰
Robert aged well. He reminds me of what I would imagine King Arthur would look like.

Me too! Love him. Always will be my favorite. First concert at 15, I am now 63 years old.

We worked the Cajun & Bluegrass festival in the 80s/90s. It was a small festival with 5000 or so in attendance. The stage was a tiny, covered thing only rising up about six inches off the ground. Alison and Union Station closed on that last night.
Halfway through their set the power went out and since it was a very low budget affair, there was no backup generator. They finished the set acoustically, moving to the very edge of the stage as the audience scrunched together seated on the dirt. It was a memory.
My lovely dear friend who passed away 4 years gone now 😢 this was played at her funeral she just loved Zeppelin x ❤

Wow, Plant still has some power in that voice. This is a great version of this song. How these two came together with their own original recordings together is just a blessing for the rest of us.

Plant has always been a blues singer -- even I, growing up in the rock years from the late 50s to the mid 80s recognized this. So were the early Stones songs, along with The Who and the Moody Blues, and a lot of other so-called "rock groups" who had their roots in the blues. Listen to groups like Chicago, Styx, The Buckinghams, - even the Beatles - etc. -- they all used blues music to enhance the "new" rock genre. It was always new music drawn from old rhythms.

I saw this live at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. I've seen Robert Plant a bunch of times. I was never a big Alison Krause fan, but she gained my respect with her performance on this song.

She has 26 Grammy for a reason. At one time she had the most for a female artist. Beyonce beat her sadly. Not that Beyonce isn't good but alison is better in my opinion.

I made the tough decision when we saw them at Bethel Woods... I did not shoot this song. I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. I also, was in tears by the end and Goosebumps.
