Great review. My RX350h is on its way from Japan to the UK in Sonic Copper (copper crest for you) with ammonite sand interior. The paint is applied using sonic waves that make the metallic flakes stand out and glow. The US/Canadian cars are made in Canada. It’s called the premium plus here with most options as standard. The Takumi version is even better. Your review is the only one so far that mentions that the panoramic roof opens. Even my dealer didn’t know that ! Also you showcased the voice controls ,brake holder and semi autonomous driving that are never mentioned . Just to note the Imperial gallon is 20% larger in the UK and it’s rated as up to 47 MPG here. Acoustic glass as standard also deadens the sound. The spare tyre is deleted for the UK but third party suppliers can fit one in the covered blank space. In Japan they drive on the left so our cars are designed and built to LHD standard in Japan to a fantastic quality.
That's a really good idea (to have the HVAC knob change colors as you dial in your desired temperature.)
Never been a fan of RX styling but this is definitely an improvement, and the mpg blows away most of the category. On my list now.

I just bought one of these luxury AWD. I think the only options I don’t have that I wish I did are the Mark Levinson speakers (the regular ones are still the best sound system I’ve ever heard in a car) and they AC outlet in the back (that’s a $500 upgrade). I pretty much couldn’t live without any of the options. It really has to be one of the most comfortable cars on the road short of an S Class Mercedes that’s going to easily cost double the price.
I agree is definitely on par with S class features.
Jeff, the doors are opened by pressing , only when there is some danger , doors are locked to open by pressing , you can open by pulling the handle, two option for opening, best regards from Czech republic
Jeff! I’m in love with this vehicle so many luxury amenities and comfort is really laid out nicely. Technology is really good but what I really miss is the blind spot video like they do in Kia but overall for this price range it’s very well thought out vehicle. Love the heated and ventilated front and rear seats and wireless connectivity of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Exterior is great the engine noise is terrible with the 4 cylinder that is a deal breaker

A lot of these cars are purchased by people who have these for a really long time. After year, 3, 4, 5, 6 at what point do you get known as the person with the green car. I think I’d be sick of it after a month.

How is it compared to the Venza ? More solid, more quiet???? It’s same car… same engine similar chassis, similar underbody designs 😅

Does anyone know if you have pets if there will be a problem with the seats not being full leather. It looks like it has suede in there. I keep by back seats covered up when the dogs are with me but i was curious. Thanks
Thank you for another excellent review. I like all the cool features like the large cup holder when you press it down. I have never seen that before. Thanks for the drive test. Very quiet.

Toyota Highlander got a digital cluster but not Lexus. Toyota must be a better choice and more luxurious
Wow! It's really beautiful where you are! And what a great place to show off that Nori Green. Too bad the sun isn't out because it's a pretty spectacular color. Always enjoy your reviews for info AND entertainment (thought I was the only one who had a song for every situation! 🤭). JEFF! What happened to the dash about the glove compartment? Looks like someone had their feet up there🫣! As for 'creature comforts'...want them ALL minus A/C Inverter, Cold Area Package. No to Carpet Cargo Mat but YES to All Weather Cargo Mat.
Have been torn between Lexus and Genesis. Also torn between Hybrid and Gas. I rarely drive (-20 miles week unless driving out of town), so the Hybrid makes more sense to me. Unless it has to be driven frequently to keep it charged? Feedback from those in the know is appreciated. Thank you! And thank you again Jeff!
I prefer the old model I have driven the new non hybrid 350 I prefer the old one has to much tech the v6 sounds better then 4 cylinder

Can you give your opinion on the suede finish on the seats? Will it stay cool in the summer? Is it is comfortable? I really want to buy this exact model, but I’m worried about the suede. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.
Did not see a great difference between the previous model on the exterior and some small changes in the rear. It still remains a great car in its class
Looks like I need to stop at the Premium+ trim to avoid the head up display.
Also, not sure if Traffic Jam Assist is worth it?
Are these readily available or are there a wait time that we would need to preorder before hand (talking about someone that is going to need to replace a leased car to know the timing of when to check and go to a dealership)?
Jeff, when using the camera rearview mirror, do you notice any delays in what you're seeing? Someone pointed out that they suffer from motion sickness when using the camera rearview mirror (on some other car, I don't remember which one) because of the delay.
If they could've brought this nori green into the F Sport trim then it would look awesome!

am I reading the sticker correctly? The way I read it, the sliding moonroof is standard, the not sliding panoramic roof is an option?
How about no moonroof of any kind? How about a nice solid piece of steel that keeps the car more rigid? How about a nice solid piece of steel with no glass surrounded by a rubber gasket that will eventually leak?
Is that a possibility?

How does a fully loaded toyota Highlander Platinum compare to the rx350h ?
I am starting to look for a more dependable ride that can factor in a growing 9 year old who will be a sizeable teenager.... starting to think the venza and nx350h will get me complaints from the backseat.

The 350h has a naturally aspirated 2.5l engine.

It’s crazy to charge $65K for a car with 4 cylinder hybrid. If the buyers are looking for a fuel efficient vehicle, then a mid size SUV is a wrong choice. Why didn’t they make the 6 cylinder hybrid engine all across the entire model lineup? If they lowered the weight and decrease the 6 cylinder displacement, a lower MPG could be achieved.
They actually have the v6 hybrid for the tundra,crown,sequoia and possibly the new Tacoma!
What’s wrong with buyers wanting the advantages of a mid size SUV that is also fuel efficient relative to its class?

We own a V6 2022 RX luxury model and love it-we did not like the new 4 cylinder engine or the new electronic door handles-unfortunately the Genesis for the same money is a much nicer all around vehicle than the new RX
Genesis gas mileage is no comparison to 350h

Nice looking, but the thing has no bumbers, especially in the rear you have a minor collision the entire lift gate needs to be replaced. The stupid safety system spies on you (camera record/watch drivers face constantly), beeps constantly, head up display controls are dumb, door locks are even dumber and unnecessarily complicated, weak and buzzy 4 cyl engine sucks!!
