The vast majority of people who purchase the RX don't pay much attention to which one is faster by a second or even two seconds. I have owned 3 RX's going back over 20 years. We want quality, quiet, smooth, reliable, and with decent gas mileage. My 2021 RX with the buttery smooth V6 is really all that plus. My only complaint is that unfortunately i still live in California where our government is hell bound to put us on bicycles, living in caves, with rationed electricity. A real world 21.5 mpg (at around $5.00/gal) with my current RX even using regular costs a lot here, especially when I get the same gas just across the Arizona line for about $2.00 less gallon. I will definitely get the later model hybrid verion RX WHEN they install the 5th generation hybrid system in it. What are you waiting for Lexus????
What is Lexus waiting for? Their 5th generation hybrid system is a big improvement in smoothness and quiet yet they persist in installing it on their least profitable model, the UX. WHY?? Even Toyota models are getting it including the new 2025 Toyota Camry. WHY??? For those who don't know, the federal government CAFE standards are forcing auto manufacturers to delete V6's in favor of turbo 4 cylinder motors. FYI.
No, i drove now one of these 4bangers in a RX.....its loud ! I own a RX450H and the V6 is more quiet and more smooth and less under stress. Perhaps the next is a V6Hybrid from Ford. Lexus lost its path on the luxury side.
Your videos are getting even better brother. Perfect delivery and extremely informative. 💯 Really liking the design and improvements to the RX series. 🔥 If I keep watching these videos, you’ll be seeing me sooner than I’ve planned 😅 Keep ‘em coming! 💪
Wow that's great feedback thank you so much!!! Yes! Feel free to come by anytime to check out some different models! Also let me know if there's any content ideas that you think I should tackle next
@@PerformanceLexusNiagara I’ve noticed on the forums that the sound system is one of the biggest topics discussed. Maybe touching on the differences between the stock pioneer and ML systems including speaker sizes and tech information for audio enthusiasts might be valuable. Seeing as base audio comes on more of the models that might be a good one to focus on. Also the wireless CarPlay and Android Auto has to be a game changer for a lot of people in older Lexus models with the wired standard and maybe a quick 10 second demo to show that Waze will in fact show and work on screen in the car would be huge and have a lot of people interested. Another one would be the ride flats and a quick or in depth explanation into how they work and what could be some real world scenarios where that could and will come in handy. My parents were in the country recently and we all went to see our family doctor and someone put a knife in my front passenger tire for no reason. I was parked perfectly and not beside any other cars. Not sure if it was envy or what the case was but thank god I had the tire protection package but I still had to go through the hassle of putting the spare on when it was suppose to be a smooth day with my parents. I know my next Lexus will have ride flats and would love to know more information about them. Do they protect against vandalism like a knife in the firewall? Do they affect drive quality? How long can you drive on a ride flat. Will a notification still come on in the car indicating that the tire is flat so I know to get to the closest Lexus dealership? All good questions and you could likely even do a video on ride flats alone. Once again, your videos are very informative and well done my brother. You speak well and always give a ton of information. Please keep it up and I look forward to your videos in the future. 🙏💯💪
There certainly is a lot to like! I see what you're saying about getting used to the "Nose", it reminds me when Lexus redesigned the RX in 2016 and a lot of our guests were shocked by the change in front end, and then once people started to get used to it, it quickly became the favourite! Either way let me know which one you decide!
@@PerformanceLexusNiagara I just can’t get used to the new RX. The NX started looking good. I actually stepped down to the 2024 NX. I like it better than the 2021 RX traded in
We have the NX 450h+ and love the new interior. Because of that, we like the 2023 RX which has essentially the same interior and functionality. If purchasing I would vote for the 2023 RX.
Your videos are excellent with a lot of great information. Both the new and older Lexus have excellent styling. The interior technology, removing the touchpad, and overall style changes are a nice improvement over the '22. You mentioned a heater in the radar/sensor area in the very front and that you covered it in another video. Could you provide a link to the video.
Thank you so much for the feedback as well the continuous support! Yes I found the clip you are talking about for the heated emblem: ruclips.net/video/jtM8G0_h2KY/видео.html around the 2 minute mark!
Such a great decision to make for sure! The V6 is for sure peppy and the new 350H is very smooth! Both look great with the White on red! So either choice is a great one!
@@PerformanceLexusNiagara unless I am wrong, when I configured 2023 rx350h online, it wont give me white on red option, it is only for 2.4t or 500h f sport
Love both designs, I have a 22’ 350 F sport. So happy with my purchase, signed a really good deal with the new models coming in. I find the 23’ very attractive and great update but……… no V6 was the deal breaker for me.
you're missing out lol my fully loaded ultra white 500H with red interior is amazing! I don't miss the v6 at all!!! the instant torque and super comfy ride makes me not miss my model Y performance which now takes place as just a fun car! the 500h is my daily now
Had a 2024 50H Lovett. It was in an accident. It was total when I looked for a new one. They told me the only car I could get. Was the 500 RXF hybrid supersport? I do not like the car. I think they've made it so complicated to use, it's not enjoyable. Having a lot of problems with everything dealing with the screen, they've already fixed the engine problems. I've only had it 6 months. 3000 miles on it, and it's been in the shop 4 times. Very disappointed. I love my 450 I just like this one.
6 piston brake pads and a 4-cylinder.... another way for Lexus to make more money. The two pistons on the Lexus 22 work just great on a 295 Hp, now you have less horsepower and more piston on the brakes. Lol. 😂$$$$$
Rx brakes are weak, not sure when you say work great means what. The rx500h is much quicker than the older one and as ISF / GSF owner the 6 pot piston is much needed
I’m torn between this and the new GX. My sons are 6’5” and 6’6” I have concerns if they will fit in the back seat. They are adults but we hang out a bunch.
The Lexus name plate on the 2023 is a no go for me is trashy. The L name plate was classy. What were they thinking they are a Lincoln navigator junk. As far as the Turbo on the new one not what a RX is supposed to be. the V6 it tried and true and very reliable. All manufacturers turbos all wear out faster than that v6 will. Also they hae a higher compression rato which will wear the engine out faster. Now I had a 2019 RDX A Spec the A Spec got old fast. The one to one touch pad was junk the 2022 RX 350 while not perfect is way better. I can use it and if not I have the touch screen as a backup. As far as me I just got a 2022 RX Prem CPO. I love it. While no car is perfect, it is way better than the 2019 RDX. I had so many issues with the black display that Acura could never fix. Nothing worse than spending big money on a car for the display and you have to rely on your $200 phone. Sad really sad.
Great question! I find this new generation of hybrid CVT don't have as much as that "CVT Feel" as previous years. It seems a lot smoother especially from a stop. I'd say the only time I really notice is when getting on the highway from a higher speed, maybe 80km +. Hope this helps!
I have a 2023 RX 500 Hf sport I hate it. When I first got it, the main problem in this car is everything to do with the screen. Does whatever it wants shuts off turns on? It's really hard to change stations because they made it with the LX or should I say the Lexus and then the Android so you can't do changing to the stations if you do the Android? My maps freeze all the time. When are you doing directions and throws it out? It's just not the car. I expected it to be for the price it was.😢
2020 to 2022 looks way better than current gen
more personal opinions. To me all SUV's resemble refrigerators turned on their side. Heck they even use the same rolled steel as refrigerators.
2016-2022 RX was the best.

I differ.

2022 Luxury package with V6 we bought last year . Will pass on 4cyl Buzz box and the 10K increase in price. Lexus add V6 option to the 2024 version !

Thanks for watching! Maybe I'll try to do more videos during sunset!
the 2022 f sport looks more of a luxury car to me then the current gen. it should have kept the signature design.

it will be nice if the nose piece opening can be extend all the way up to top on the new RX
