Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is proud to celebrate the 45th Honorees for lifetime artistic achievements: acclaimed actor and filmmaker George Clooney; contemporary Christian and pop singer-songwriter Amy Grant; legendary singer of soul, Gospel, R&B, and pop Gladys Knight; Cuban-born American composer, conductor, and educator Tania León; and iconic Irish rock band U2, comprised of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr.

Not a Biden fan (understatement of the year) but Joe did a good job here.
He certainly wasn't my first choice for President (I didn't really like any of the choices) and I haven't agreed with some of his policies, but I do think he's a sincerely good man.

@Jason Keith I think that's quite an exaggeration. I'd say he's mediocre. But one of the worst? That's a bit much. In today's polarized climate,, a President from either party will be hard pressed to get anything more than a 40% approval rating. The worst President in modern times remains George W Bush. And I voted for him!

That is the ribbon for the medallion presented to honorees. The rainbow symbolizes the many skills within the performing arts.
Kennedy Center Honors are presented on behalf of the American people for contributions to American culture through the performing arts.
