I like how the first half of Battle For Farbanti is basically a mix of Trigger's theme and Sol Squadron... An early warning that Mr X is coming, and this time he isn't playing.
Man, I'd LOVE to have this (or a similar song in the same vein) accompanying an extra long mission, be in future DLC or in the next installment. It conveys so very well a sense of hope mixed with urgency and survival. And then a bit of chill to catch ones breath.
Oooh this is nice! I find the Sol Squadron fight to be... Strangely beautiful. Like how they kick it off by ascending to your altitude, then spanning out in that formation. Then when Mister X begins chasing Wiseman, I've found so many beautiful potential photo-worthy shots by waiting until Mister X flies low and slow among the buildings, entering third-person camera, and flying a bit above the buildings while holding camera lock on him.
the best part is the song is 15 minutes long so you can play this over the first part of battle for Farbanti or fleet destruction (where siren song comes from)
