It took you 41 minute to get your first point. I just got this game and did my first solo playthrough and after 6-7 conflicts and 70 minutes the score was 2-2 lol. I love the idea of this game but scoring to 10 seems so hard and the game will probably just end when the conflict cards run out. Am I just bad or what's going on with the ultra low scoring? Update questions: 1) Can you earn victory points for pairing conflict cards multiply times in a game or just the one pairing with your objective card? 2) are sandstorms pretty much required to keep up with the AI in terms of scoring? 3) does anyone know if the expansions make it faster to score points?
The game definitely ramps up as you gain cards and other ways to score. To answer your questions: 1) Each matching pair is a point 2) I've seen strategies without sandworms win, like going for the point cards, but they are not as straightforward 3) The expansions open up some options in gameplay. If anything, the IX expansion would let you use the Dreadnoughts to compete with worms.
@@CardboardMinute thank you for responding. I've played about 7 solo games now at 3-4 player counts. Games usually end around conflict 8. I definitely prefer to use worms against the AI because they usually don't or maybe just one rival gets them in time.
I use the KMC Perfect Fit sleeves. I find that they're very cost effective, while still being a good quality. They are pretty tight, since I think they're designed for double-sleeving.
Actually, they do earn victory points for climbing to 2 and 4 influence on any of the 4 tracks. Rivals do not earn bonuses on these tracks when they reach 4 influence.
bro i understand you are struggling with the game too but if you are going to make a help video about solo in this situation...make sure you know the rules other wise your video is useless.... example : 24:54 you put a spice on one of the maker spots where one of reds agent was on... you dont do that the bonus spice only happen on spots THAT WERE NOT OCCUPIED!!! thumbs down on your video sorry

In the Maker phase you don’t add spice to a Maker spot where there is an agent present. (EDIT: as of round 2 you played this correctly)
Would love to see how this handles any(all?!) expansions. Have the original and expansions so this is intriguing

You did yourself dirty, the rivals dont get rewards from the influence tracks.
