The ScopeSwitch can be placed anywhere, and should be placed where the eye box is best for the shooter. Height is 1.93, we will make a 1.7. The slider will have tons of different versions, we will probably make it open source. As far as the magnifier version, that one is coming as well. We are going to release a motorized version, still in the works. Pistol accessory is awesome, allows me to shoot the Dicken Drill in 4.5-4.75 seconds with the P365, and I’m not great with a pistol. 🤙
You guys are completely missing out on the Desert Tech MDR. Everything you’re asking for with the Halo Battle Rifle, fully ambidextrous, and the thing every reviewer misses which is that you can swap out barrel kits and have whatever length, caliber, and even choosing to go back to a side-eject like the Tavor.
The scope.slider IMO I'd gonna have a niche roll. It's cool, interesting and innovative, but are you going to change your rifle setups to accommodate this? Top mount pressure pads, lasers, etc. What's the requirement that you would change? Your connection to the rifle is paramount and I wouldn't change my setup for this nor ever seen a need. Maybe competition or range fun, but don't the application. Then they will need to make all the heights. As you said, the mount in a certain place makes no sense as your eyebox matters and different for people as well as scopes.
One thing we didn't mention but I did think about during was that it also requires you to change your grip. So depending on your rifle setup it might not even work. I think it's a neat idea with a very niche use like you said for competition and range use. The only real application I can see immediately is if you need to ID targets extremely quickly and with minimal movement. Like maybe on a checkpoint or overwatch position, but at that point it's not like a well set up piggyback can't work either
The all in one sight with IR illuminator, vis/ir laser, eotech reticle and range finder all in one. Eotech + magnifier is far superior to lpvo, will never use an lpvo.on an AR. I can pop my magnifier off for NVG use or close ranges, lpvos are heavy af and suck for nvg use. Not true 1x like eotech. Eotech 3-2 reticle (ranging) + vortex 6x s the way. Non holographics such as a aimpoints suck ass. Also feel the jagerworks style A1 (moving rhe laser baxk) provides some of the greatest benefits (Center of gravity/clean rail aside from white light) of the past few years. Weight especially front is a big deal which is why I'm trying to ditch my Mawl for an ngal
I'm with you man I'm a huge fan of red dot and magnifiers even though the other Jeremy and our friends all prefer LPVOs. I think there is still a niche for them but until they get more affordable I think it's not worth it yet.
This is like the perfect podcast for me. I cant believe it took me this long to find it.
Welcome!
I checked out your content. Nice stuff; fellow GFL enjoyer I see.
Exilium when, mica please
@DWAI honestly I don't enjoy GFL, I'm more of a Blue Archive simp. That edit was for a friend after I shot some full auto UMPs at an event.
@@Gun_Dae fair enough. I actually enjoyed the gameplay of blue archive a lot but I like the waifus in GFL more

@DWAI Exactly! Changing your grip and connection to thr rifle isn't worth any piece of equipment
