Exactly. Any unchained dog that sees a bear coming towards it, takes off running the other way. These dogs had no choice but to literally play dead(ultra submissive), while being alive.
Brian Ladoon died five years ago - his huskies were taken in by his ex partner . It was totally out of order of him to tie his dogs up and leave them vulnerable to attack . Rest in peace to the dogs who became dinner for these hungry polar bears .

*Cute as these scenes might seem, clearly a lot of people here haven't caught up with the back story to these cute and cuddly videos. On several occasions since this film was made, after **_'playing and wrestling'_** with Brian's rescue dogs, the polar bears went on to eat some of them alive. Due to it being illegal to kill or harm polar bears in the wild in Manitoba and elsewhere, Birdbrained Brian was initially cautioned by local police against keeping the dogs chained up like this.* *After another couple of dogs were eaten, the police had no choice but to arrest BB (Birdbrained Brian), and he was charged with gross animal cruelty. Thankfully, BB is no longer allowed to **_'rescue'_** retired huskies... thank God!*
While a few moments of this video were kind of cute (when the bear was on his back and the dog was licking him), the end of that video was VERY disturbing. That poor dog was afraid and trying to get away.
the colon after the words 'Polar Bear" indicate that it is a line of speech being figuratively spoken by the polar bear. The [character name:] format is frequently used in stage and screenplays to denote a line spoken by a character, as opposed to the quotation marks around speech as used in books and print media. As an aside, I, and most other people are well aware that the polar bear is a non-sapient creature both mentally and physically incapable of mimicking human speech patterns. Nor has any Polar Bear ever displayed the cognitive ability to formulate a thought and/or request such as this one, let alone be aware of or understand the word 'Human". But to answer your question: Yes, I didn't think you knew I was human.
AEigner You got me, with your vast vocabulary and articulate writing style you've managed to convince other people on youtube of how sound your argument is, even though they likely have no idea what you are talking about. I own a dictionary as well. It would've been far more conventional to use quotation marks rather than saying that the name of the character was Polar Bear. It's not a big deal, you just became so much more defensive than you needed to be. Sorry if I touched a nerve somehow.
Defensive? No. I was just making fun of you. Meant to be taken in the spirit of a gentle, profanity-free rib-poking. I do hope the nerve I touched on your end that brought you back to this comment after two months with your dictionary in hand wasn't too raw. Passive aggression is transparent.
They were a while later. The dogs owner kept leaving food out that the bears would eat. One day the owner(Brian Ladoon) failed to leave food out and the dogs got eaten.
Polar bears are the most vicious and aggressive of bears. Mainly due to the enviroment they live in. Food is scarce and everything that can be consumed will be.
That white dog is clearly horrified. I read 'if you want a guard dog dont chain them up cause they wont bark bc they know theyre vulnerable.' Someone posted the article below and from research it seem to be correct. That white dog isnt barking and it already is pulling the chain tight so it cant get away when it is clearly trying to. Even not knowing one was killed you can CLEARLY see something is wrong here. Anyone know which dog was killed? I heard it was not the white one or that bear and was surprised.

No less than every single sound the dogs make is a textbook dog sound of fear and concern, and these are large husky / malamutes. The dogs are chained to the ground in the open in a frozen coastal environment with wild polar bears. In the video the guy says the polar bears are "quite gentle as a rule" after talking about shooting special ammo at the bears to keep them away from him. I found this post from 2013: "I am a wildlife biologist, and have spent the past two summers in Churchill, MB, Canada, where this photo was taken. These Canadian Eskimo dogs are owned by a man (Brian Ladoon) who baits polar bears, and then photographs the bears "playing" and "snuggling" with the dogs. Meanwhile, notice that the dog is chained? ALL the dogs in photos like these are mauled by the bears shortly after the photographs are taken. Unfortunately, Ladoon has made quite a living off selling his photographs to unknowing tourists who don't realize the real situation."
its the same as when an Orca throws around a seal before it eats it or when a cat plays with a mouse before it eats it. Some animals just like to play with their food before they eat it. I also read a similar news article as what PP wrote, that new video that was posted that is trending atm, the same night one of the dogs were eaten (unsure if it's the one in the video) and the man has been charged various times for 'feeding' the polar bears and various other offenses but it seems he makes a bit of money from doing tours and selling photo's so she keeps doing it.
Pokemon Pokemon pls do your research when you post, we live in a day of instant information. If there is any 'asshole' here to refer to, it is in my opinion the guy in the video disrupting a natural habitiat by feeding the polar bears. He even got one of his dogs killed and eaten. Well, that dog DID get eaten that very same day. The owner loses over 20 dogs a year, and has been doing this for almost 20 years. That's more than 400 Dogs eaten by bears so that this guy can make a few bucks off of tourists wanting to see Bears playing with huskies.
+TheMangoGaming :D Yes, that's what brought me to the video. and I hope you're also thinking that if he wouldn't have started feeding the bears in the first, place to attract tourists, then it wouldn't have happened at all. He should not make the bears believe there is food to rely on like that. case in point what happens when he's sick another day and isn't there feed them? It causes a domino effect by doing such things. He won't live long enough to see the destruction I bet!
+Sweederland Johnson Have you ever heard about bear lovers? Not all are freaking out on the perspective of being f*ed by a bear, especially if that's an alternative for being eaten, LOL.
It was discovered the guy was feeding the bears and therefore without hunger driving it to hunt, the dogs were playmates as opposed to dinner. He was caught doing this and once stopped, the dogs were eaten. There are plenty of gruesome photos and witness accounts of it happening. The guy is an asshole for doing this to the bears as well as the dogs, but I guess he got the 15 minutes of fame that he was after.
But interestingly according to comments a lot of people find it funny . Those soulless psychopathic ones should be isolated from normal people and live amongst their own kind. They are evolutionary still animals.
I read about this somewhere and the dogs got actually killed by the polar bears later. Some guy who brings the dogs and chains them to play with the polar bears to take pictures he sells for money. First they play, then bears maul the dogs and eat them. So yeah it ain't cute cuddling.
What actually happened was that some officers were worried about the situation and relocated most of the bears. That group of local bears had been a deterrent for bears from other areas crossing through, so without them there a "foreign" bear got in and killed the dogs. Before the officers stepped in, there had been virtually no issues in 20+ years of doing it.

Guys, despite the cute music, the reality is that the situation you described is not a game or a harmless interaction between two animals. It is a dangerous and potentially deadly situation for the husky. Polar bears are powerful predators and can easily cause serious injury or death to a chained husky or other animal. It is never appropriate to chain a dog or other pet in an area where it is at risk of being attacked by a wild animal. If you are in an area where polar bears or other dangerous animals are present, it is important to take appropriate precautions to protect yourself and your pets. This may include using bear-proof fencing or enclosures, carrying bear spray, and being aware of your surroundings at all times. It is also important to remember that wild animals, including polar bears, should be respected and treated with care, and it is never appropriate to harass or harm them. While this video may seem adorable, if you use Google, you'll see hundreds of images of wild polar bears brutally murdering chained huskies. These kinds of incidents can be prevented by not allowing dogs to be left outside unattended in areas where they are at risk of being attacked by wild animals. It is also important to be aware of the risks posed by wild animals in your area, and to take appropriate precautions to protect yourself, your pets, and the animals. It is never appropriate to intentionally put any animal in harm's way, and it is important to treat all animals, including wild animals, with care and respect.
Although it looks cute, only reason the dogs are not eaten because the guy feeds the bears and keep them full. One day he forgot to feed the bears and they ate one of the dogs. He was feeding bears all along and charge fees to show it to tourists. This is really dangerous for these endangered bears because they will approach establishments thinking they will get food and will get shot by scared people.

this dude sells tickets to people to see bears on his property he loses 20 dogs every year to bears, not because bears wanted to eat the dogs of course, he kept plenty food around for the bears and the dogs, but because dogs were threat to the bears (especially cubs) that came to feed. That's also why he chained the dogs up.

These dogs are chained and are vulnerable to being attacked and killed by the bears. In fact, many are! Something that is seldom mentioned in the videos, photos and stories of 'polar bears and dogs playing'. In this video, the last scenes show a frightened dog and an increasingly aggressive bear and I find it hard to understand some of these comments that display warm and fuzzy emotions - are people just seeing what they want to see?
I didn't realise you graduated with an animal psychology degree... please tell more of your vast knowledge! Are you a dog whisperer? Did they show you where the polar bears touched them with a doll?
I agree.....I was getting afraid for that wolf being trapped in his arms. The little play started to get more rough and agressive and the dog was starting to feel uncomfortable and clearly wanted to get out of there. That was upsetting for me. These are wild animals and you never know what they gonna do next. Play can change into something else quickly. These dogs are chained....they don't stand a chance if some bear gets it into his head to attack.
* Bear asks wolf : Do u have a problem with poop sticking to your fur after u take a shit. * wolf replies : No... * bear replies : Great !! Bear then grabs the wolf and wipes his(bear) ass !! hahahahaha **what a great joke right **
And that's exactly what happened. The one night they didn't put food out to detour the bears from the dogs, the famous "dog petting Polar bear" ate one of them, alive.
@@Jungy_Mungerson It's not the same bear and dog as featured in this video. The fatal attack took place 9 years after this. It was in the same area and it was Brian Ladoon's dog, but it wasn't any of the ones in this video.
what I find really creepy is that those poor dogs are tied up , they can't run away from these bears , and the reason those bears don't eat the dogs is because the guy feeds the bears with other meats , like seal or whatever , so that the bears will leave the dogs alone ,, there is no true friendship here ,, if the bears where hunger they would eat the dogs ,
when theres hugner, theres hunger, and you cant blame them for that. But its wild life... that is true friendship if you want to call it that, the bears woulnt be there if they werent interested in something, and since its not meat, then its have "social contact" with other animal without harm, if those bears wanted to harm the dogs, they would do, period. Also, the dogs seem quite used to it, meaning this is not the first time. Again, it's wild life and as the person says things are unpredictable. But well, theres a reason why those dogs are chained (I dont quite like it either) but it seems thats how things work there, and by the looks of it, it's not that bad
@@beybladesellerindia Ya, but if it becomes hard for the bears to catch food, then it is going to be just as hard for the guy. Did you know that we must repent of our sins? Also, do you understand what sin is scripturally? Sin is transgression of the Law, 1John 3:4. We must also believe on The Master YAHUSHA and receive the covering and witness of YAHUSHA. We must also trust and obey YAHUSHA. What is the law? The law is the first five books of the bible. Yes, faith saves you. But did you know that TRUE faith will produce obedience? If we have genuine faith, we will obey YAHUAH’S law (TURAH) and we will repent (which means to turn away from our sins and stop sinning willfully.) If we ignorantly stumble into sin (remember that sin is the transgression/breaking of His laws) and trust in the Master YAHUSHA, He will forgive us. Favour is what allows us to be the men and women that YAHUAH the Father in Heaven called us to be. It allows us to obey through His Set-Apart (Holy) Ruach (Spirit). 🙂

On several occasions since this film was made, after **_'playing and wrestling'_** with Brian's rescue dogs, the polar bears went on to eat some of them alive. Polar bear: OMG IT'S SO FLUFFY. Human, serious question...can I keep this one?
Did you think we didn't know that you are human?
the colon after the words 'Polar Bear" indicate that it is a line of speech being figuratively spoken by the polar bear.

Polar bears are the most vicious and aggressive of bears. Mainly due to the enviroment they live in. Food is scarce and everything that can be consumed will be.

I read the same thing, the dogs are bait and all get mauled, I wonder why they play with them first?
its the same as when an Orca throws around a seal before it eats it or when a cat plays with a mouse before it eats it.

What actually happened was that some officers were worried about the situation and relocated most of the bears.

The most amazing thing I saw today.
what I find really creepy is that those poor dogs are tied up , they can't run away from these bears , and the reason those bears don't eat the dogs is because the guy feeds the bears with other meats , like seal or whatever , so that the bears will leave the dogs alone ,, there is no true friendship here ,, if the bears where hunger they would eat the dogs ,
when theres hugner, theres hunger, and you cant blame them for that.
I come from Canada , and I know enough about bears , they are not teddy bears like people think ,,, live and learn buddy , and live ,
really mawichump? Swastikas? I have an answer for that.
Lorraine Ricardo - one commenter said that the sob was leaving extra food out for the dogs to get around the Don’t feed the bears law .
The real question is where can I get a leather headband like that?
In These Video I Was so focused In The Leather Headband
+Anna Glenn lol
Reason dogs are not dead? Bears not hungry. Chained up food isn't going anywhere if the hunt for seal goes bad.
maybe , youre'right....
It's the same as why the Inuit hunters like dogs better than snowmobiles , you can't eat a snowmobile .
The polar bears were clearly playing with the dogs.
Joe Szabo LOL WTF
You'd be amazed what you would do if you were starving to death.
Bear ..... "I don't need to be in a hurry the kind man has chained my dinner up so it can't get away"
*"playing"*
QB Ak does exclamation points are very worth it because one of the dogs did die
Hm chained up dogs forced to interact with polar bears and unable to escape....sounds like bait.
Ya, and I just said the same. Those bears now know where their dinner is, if they can’t catch anything🤷♀️
@@debrajessen7975 that's why he gave them the food every night he's know that better than anyone
@@beybladesellerindia Ya, but if it becomes hard for the bears to catch food, then it is going to be just as hard for the guy. The bears will not just think, `oh ya it’s hard for us all’, no - they will eat those dogs and the man if necessary - this is nature🤷♀️ He should never have started feeding them. And you can see that those dogs do not like this situation at all.
@@debrajessen7975 as I said in another comment when this was shown a while back someone wrote that the bears did come back and kill the dogs. It is thirteen years ago so the person must have read about it.
@@sandracamwell2415 Arrrr!😭 But that was inevitable unfortunately. What about the man? Did the bears kill him too? He should’ve packed his gear and moved from there when those bears turned up instead of thinking he could change nature by feeding them!!!😤
The thumbnail was true, the prophecy had been fulfilled.
I don't think so. www.sciencealert.com/sorry-to-ruin-your-dreams-but-that-dog-petting-polar-bear-just-ate-a-husky-alive
@@ReyBanYAHUAH You know the laws are meant for the "TRUE" children of Israel. Not the gentiles
@@ReyBanYAHUAH yahusha, ruach, turah... Is it some kind of anime? What is this nonsensical bullshit?

Advertising is the art of making the impossible believable
If the dogs and bears are such bff, why are the dogs chained down? Because they would haul a** away from the bears if they could. This guy is feeding bears to keep them satiated then chaining dogs down for photo op$. When he forgot to feed the bears one night, one of his dogs was killed and eaten. Poor dog was either chained, or too comfortable with the bears to understand the threat until it was too late. This a**hole should be in jail.
Then set up some sort of petition against him and share the hell out of it...We will all sign
It's disgusting what he is doing and breaks my heart to know that the poor gigs are suffering because of this beast of a man
They say the dogs don't bark at night because they know it makes them vulnerable
Something has to be done ....
Rob G Oh my goodness, this is so fucked up!!! Yes, the guy is a freakin monster....a beast for doing this crap for $$!!! He should be taken away in handcuffs and then some!!! WICKED WICKED MAN!!! SOOO UNBELIEVABLY INHUMANE! !! WOWW.
Thank you for sharing this info!!
Yes, freed of chains they would be working as a pack and wouldn't certaiinly let the bears get close (either by outrunning them or chasing them off). The dogs were acting the way they did on this video (submissively) because they had no other choice for survival - no escape if the bear got pissed at them.
Wow really I was wondering why the dogs has chains on this guy is a fuckin idiot they should eat him next fuckin time and the dogs should get a piece too.
What’s your source

I guess momma never told these guys to not play with their food 😂😂😂. Super cute video
"Super cute video" are you kidding? Those poor doggos were on the menu and a few were actually eaten because of the dumb human couldn't care less for doggo welfare!

Snake from Metal Gear in his retirement.
very possible
Looks more like ocelot
Solid Snake actually was a musher so..
Nope, just another braindead human being
I've been to Churchill and have met this,, rude and sadist individual. I refuse to even call him a man because he has no redeeming qualities as a human being, let alone being granted a sex!
Real men don't chain twenty or Thirty dogs to their houses their dogs 2 on the ice and/or Tundra, and banishes them to live their entire lives being chained to a dog house as possible bear bait, let alone have them spaced 20 ft apart (if not more) In 40 below weather, (as was when I was there and met him in person). That is, since he's retired from his business of making those same dogs pull his ass around as a "musher".
Now before you read the rest, I am not opposed to dog sledding, I am just supposed to this situation.
These highly athletic, beautiful and highly intelligent creatures are being offered up as "bear bait" while selling photographs of the sickening display.
The greater insult and cruelty is to have these pictures he taken matted, framed and right there to buy at the gift shop in town, (which shall remain nameless), which in itself alone is sickening, shameful,, disgusting and greedy! Shut this man down please!!!
the bear is like : come here puppy , who is your dadyy ? hahhh ? gimme a kiss .:|
