- Getaway to MediaCityUK | Trying out a Premier Inn Plus room ((11-12)/12/22). We took a trip to MediaCityUK where we stayed the night in a Premier Inn Plus room, admired the flowing water and.. well.. I ate a lot :).

brilliant the Premier inn plus room looks amazing and the views looks amazing too from the window and Media City looks amazing at night and it is amazing to see Media City again as ive walked round there back in September and its lovely round there awesome vlog

Fabulous vlog, G! Great job in showing the differences between the standard rooms and the Premier Inn Plus ones. Salford Quays looked really nice even though it was chilly, so hope you and Lucy enjoyed your time there!

Nice relaxing vlog G! That view from the hotel room was stunning! LOL I was around MediaCityUK a week later after this was filmed and didn't knew the trams to Eccles had to reverse at MediaCityUk, got on a tram at Anchorage and when it said MediaCityUk thought.... have I got on the wrong tram! LOL Honestly need to spend more time there than a quick turnaround but looks like yourself and Lucy had a great stay.
Sure they used to terminate at MediaCityUk when I first started riding the trams. Lol that's funny though 😂 thanks Cyber

Brilliant video G, looks like you and Lucy had a nice stay, that premier inn plus looks very nice but I'm not so sure about that really big window overlooking the flowing water lol. But seriously though I do like the area around Media City UK. Those metrolink trams do get rather packed, I have been on some rather packed trams on some of my visits to Manchester. Also I think Avanti need to get on with putting that GLovesTrains was here 2020 poster up at Stockport lol.

Love a Premier Inn, two things which are mandatory in any hotel is getting the biggest breakfast you can fit on your plate and taking all the tea and coffees that you don't use for the kettle

One of the best Christmas light displays in the area is the East Lancashire Station at Bury.
I love 🥰 Premier Inn. I use them all the time when I travel around. Basically I only sleep and have breakfast🤩, so it's difficult to justify Premier Inn Plus but it looks nice.

Have only been to Media City once, just to ride the Metrolink line. Got a jacket potato for lunch from the Booths store; now that store has closed I see no reason to go back. You mention various stores where you buy food, but no mention of Booths. The company is based in Preston and most of its 27 or so remaining stores are in Lancashire, so not too far from you. Sadly, none anywhere near London, I think they are the best supermarket chain.

Great film G, loved it. Nice to see the decorations at Salford Quays. The room was very reasonably priced I thought. . Was that because you booked in advance? I stay in Premier Inns a lot, I like them. Great to see you with your other half. You both look very happy together. That is a blessing.

Fantastic vlog as always G. Me and my better half stayed in the premier Inn just down from Piccadilly station and had the worst weekend ever . It was nice to spend time with her and be able to go to the Christmas markets

@@GLovesTrains they were renovating the bar and restaurant and the reception area but they didn't tell us as to how bad it was and the noise on both nights was terrible
Not sure what premier inn you stayed in but every premier inn should have an iron if you ask at reception there should be two bottles of water and the chocolates should be in the fridge
Brilliant vlog! I Should use Premier Inns to travel around the rail network more intensely in different places! 🤔 Because i tell you now its not easy to knock out the Peterborough/Grantham area between 9:30am and 5pm from Manchester 😂

I do like a Premier Inn Hotel myself. I bet if you took that water out the mini fridge you'd have to pay for it? I made that mistake once staying in a hotel in New York.

i use to literally scoff chocolate but haven't apart from a cake i scoffed barely eat chocolate now or even drink diet coke / Aldi cola always shovel down bottle hordes of water even got a 3rd pack i haven't yet un packed to put in the wardrobe on the shelfs after having a door drop on me ficking toe today making it swell up painfully i haven't even bothered shoving it out the way to get up on the ladder to begin the shipping of bus and coach models good bit is bone isn't broken not even decided what i want to do when it comes to such a hell of a brute of an aircraft model im eyeing at an eye wateringly staggering £199.99 hope youve had a good christmas G hope you have a great 2023 and what ever railway outings you get up to safe to say ive nearly planned me 2023 out nearly among the naughty ideas of getting back at an annoying friend by bragging with a model bus ive took a liking to 10:52 how you kept a straight face when you mentioned farting that made me laugh as it reminded me of farting galore on a bus while carefully waffling it at a friend to gas him off as it all started in doncaster with a trip to the airport so upon getting a bus from leeds Bradford airport into leeds it was non stop farting galore minus me leaning forward to deliberately force the farts out minus standing up and aiming the fart cannon im basically a sucker for letting farts off forcefully so if me rambling about farting in a comment makes you laugh your welcome and i can say im a swine for laughing at anything daft once laughed at a mate who bonked his head on a village sighn post with a decent thump
