It would be funny if I was the one who commented to let you know that tap-tempo bypass has already been done before. Like I knew about it but just didn't tell you.
just got my Weird v2 in the mail yesterday - as it happens I was on my way to a session - and it made it onto a guitar part for a record that I am finishing very soon! We all agreed - it was "Weird" haha. Thanks very much 🙌🤟🤟👾
Great ideas, I love your outside take on pedal things. Here's an idea: take your 3 way bypass on its own and make it an A-B splitter, so it flips from A to B outputs. and when nothing is at B output, it acts like a mute/stutter/tap tempo mute.
We are witnessing the dawn of trippy analogue enlightenment....a major paradigm shift in the concept of brotherly love, technological boundaries, and sound wave manipulation.
Just ended up on your channel but these pedals really seem to have a lot of hearth in them. Flicker truly caught my interest! What a lovely idea! For one or another reason they really make me curious how they would feel on my Crave or Streichfett
I am indeed excited with you Simon. And even impressed. Your creativity and passion for it all (music/art/creation) are inspiring. Thank you for doing all you can to keep music moving forward
Actually, I am really impressed. So often, you exceed expectations. All are interesting, but what I thought I had the least amount of interest in, became the most interesting. The stutter phone V2.
Hey Simon!! You know your little weird looking keyboard that you use, that isn't made anymore. (Which you said was a real shame, The Yellow Synthesizer Septavox) Have you ever thought about creating your own very unique keyboard, based very loosely on the Septavox, to which you can plug all your pedals in, making it the most AMAZING synth ever created?? Loving your work. Happy New Year.
Wow, these are all so cool! Innovative and original, yet also incredibly musical. Very impressive! I especially love the Bubbles V2 and Stutterphone V2. 😙👌 I'd throw my hat into the ring to demo some of these, but I only have 4k subscribers and you probably want a wider reach than that. 🤔 You should ask 'Do Noise'! He has over 10k subs, and I bet he'd be more than willing to feature these awesome creations when you're ready. All the best, mate. And congrats on these new releases! 👏
I'm interested in that knitwear you have, over the top of your hoodie Not even Hainbach can beat that. There needs to be a pedal called the jumper/sweater for people with meddle with! 😉🤘😂
Lastgasp came out with a ‘Flikrr’ random tremolo that mimics that candle flicker randomness, but that’s the only thing I can think of. so many truly new and exciting ideas here. I love it
Super interesting bypass switch extensions. Would love to see a delay pedal that you can "momentary on" to sample into, let go and the trails keep going but your input doesn't go through the circuit... Edit: OH SHIT. The stutterphone being able to reverse between silencing and letting sounds thru is exactly what I was trying to build with a friend a while ago and failed. SO COOL.
Your a mad genius and I’m here for it, the new tap tempo bypass is great and I can see myself using it quite a bit. I think eventually I will own all of these, there not even that expensive especially considering that your a “mom and pop” shop. It might take me a very long while though because unfortunately I’m a poor poor man
I'm very impressed. With the bubbles I'd like to have a function in which one delay ramps up to the next one. As if it was replicating me turning the delay time knob on the sequencer up (or down) to where the next knob is set on the sequencer. So the delays and pitch are speeding up and slowing down. If that is possible, then bubbles will be my favourite delay pedal.
man that stutterphone pedal is really a feat of madness , soooo many quirky options ... it looks like a fantasy drawing of an imaginary pedal in the school book of a bored high school stoner . Sooo cool . Congrats on making it real ! all the pedals are awesome !
❤this. Must get Bit Pirate asap! :) Can you say if these switches remember on/off between runs Simon? The one thing that matters about bypass switches for my rig, due to having pedals in drawers in a big switcher, is that they *remember on/off between runs*. Otherwise there is a "start up ritual" (open drawers D, G, H, turn on pedals 20, 45, 63, etc...)
I would have bought a Stutterphone but it's out of stock. I love (trying) anything which can synch to a clock signal. Incidentally, when I was building a guitar with a kills witch, I learned that it is better to use a switch to short out the signal rather than a switch which cuts it because it eliminates the popping.
They are not for me, but I love the crazy things you come up with. That tap tempo bypass idea is great. Maybe it can evolve into a rhythmical A/B switch pedal? E.g. 8 switches for selecting A or B and a 4051 that scans them to create a rhythm.
Wonderfully creative ideas! Excellent developments as well as the new pedals. Can't quite see them fitting my setup (mostly synths, and mostly stereo), but they certainly appeal otherwise. Any plans for any (true) stereo effects? True stereo effects are surprisingly few and far between (with many stereo effects summing to mono).
Hey, I got one for ya. Did you hear about Ryker the retired Bel Air hitman posing as a piano tuner 'cause he couldn't get a regular job ? A lady lost her wedding ring in her grand piano, she called Ryker to repair it, needless to say he made a mess of it, there were piano keys and springs absolutely everywhere, from Sunset Boulevard to pieces floating in the Bel Air ocean, even Stevie Wonder was tripping over springs and hammers, Clint Eastwood got his leg tangled in piano wire too, they even found the pedals on Jack Benny's roof. Ryker has took Eastwoods rifle and is on the run.
@emilyharpist I feel like the Magpie is calling you and Russ out here with that Weird pedal. I could be wrong, it could easily be any of them :P These are so amazing!
Is it easily possible to bake a phone dial pedal that swaps between 10 diffrent effect sends when you turn it ? Use it like a 10 way switch that rotates from 0-9
It would be funny if I was the one who commented to let you know that tap-tempo bypass has already been done before. Like I knew about it but just didn't tell you.

1 billion points awarded for the tap tempo bypass. That's really cool. You deserve a beer and a nice cookie.
I’d love to see people like Emily Hopkins, Hainbach, and Andrew Huang using your pedals. They look like so much fun.
You know Emily’s gonna rip on these
@@TaeodoestechLets make it happen: Emily sticking her toes in the dail and getting stuck.

Great work Simon, so cool to watch for years and see your progress
Everything looks soo damn cool mate, you've set a new high bar! well done my dude!
Stumbled on your channel randomly and here i am an hour later. I’m gonna get one of those Foams when i get paid next!
Just ended up on your channel but these pedals really seem to have a lot of hearth in them. Flicker truly caught my interest! What a lovely idea! For one or another reason they really make me curious how they would feel on my Crave or Streichfett
Simon you know you actually explain things quite well. And I don't mean to sound surprised...😀
Brilliant! I love seeing builders doing things nobody else is doing. It’s always a breath of fresh air. These are great!!
Very cool, nice work Simon!
I want to see (hear) these with guitar played through them. Especially the first pedal
Are there videos of pedal reviewers doing reviews of Simon's pedals...?
Creative and imaginative line up! Cheers
great video happy 2023
Looks like someone has been very productive. New/updated stuff is really interesting. Happy new year, Simon!
I like your ideas! Gotta save money to get some of the magpiepedals pedals. btw: It has to be your music that keeps the birds so calm. Awesome!
This is real creativity, hope you gain the success you deserve!
I am indeed excited with you Simon. And even impressed. Your creativity and passion for it all (music/art/creation) are inspiring. Thank you for doing all you can to keep music moving forward
We used to call the triple bacon cheeseburger the "triple bypass system". You could tap out, but there was no tap tempo.
Lolll
These have blown my mind. Thank you
"and then it l will be on for equal length of a while" 😂 This is great stuff bud!!
magpie your tripping me out with that tap tempo bypass. amazing stuff as always!
Actually, I am really impressed. So often, you exceed expectations. All are interesting, but what I thought I had the least amount of interest in, became the most interesting. The stutter phone V2.
I like what you got there! I think it’s great that you follow those weird ideas. Nice work.!
Cool stuff! That telephone rotary pedal seems really fun for performances
I love the way your mind works
Hey Simon!! You know your little weird looking keyboard that you use, that isn't made anymore. Yup, tap tempo bypass is gooood
Love the tap tempo bypass, basically an onboard square wave tremolo!
In my opinion, this very cool and even a little brilliant, in my opinion. Subscribed!
A lot of cool ideas. I am impressed! 👍 I wonder when others start copying this triple bypass.
I am both impressed and excited.
I'm interested in that knitwear you have, over the top of your hoodie Not even Hainbach can beat that. There needs to be a pedal called the jumper/sweater for people with meddle with! 😉🤘😂
I really need to hear these with guitar. Truly unique pedals.
Killer pedals! there's more than a couple I would love to own

I wish i could hear them all on a bass guitar. I wanna buy one of these and bring a magpie pedal to Brazil!
good ideas! I like the bubbles.
I'm very impressed. With the bubbles I'd like to have a function in which one delay ramps up to the next one. Sooo cool .
Congrats on making it real ! all the pedals are awesome !
i love them!! i want the phone pedal but able to fit in volume control for a guitar
❤this. Must get Bit Pirate asap! :)

Very cool stuff! Color me impressed
excited AND impressed!
Ooh I’mma try one of those flicker bulbs in a clipping section
I didn't even think bypass could get truer!
love your pedals!! 🤟❤
Subdecay has the tap tempo thing on their tremcoder
im having so much fun watching this, 🔥
Really genius electrical engineering.
this video was a brilliant idea

The flicker idea has been done but it was for a tremolo instead I think I can't remember if have to look it up either way all your pedals are badass
Weird and entertaining. I like your enthousiasm
awesome work
Weird is the most inspiring to me.

Please send the BBLS to 60 Cycle Hum if you want a guitar demo full of space ship noises.
seconded
Thirded
triple bypass is such an overlooked and innovative idea! add sync for the quadruple bypass?
great work, so cool.
I'm looking forward to your next invention, the Quadruple Bypass with Stents.
really interesting pedals - nice one!
Impressionnant. Bravo 👏
Man I wanna try them all. Going to pick up atleast 2 of them
The tap tempo bypass is genius.. 🎉
It might have been mentioned and I missed it, but can the expressions be controlled by CV for eurorack integration?
You mind is insane beautiful creative.
I wanna see a “Weird, Cozy Bbbls” pedal now! Where your playing, a sequencer, sample and hold AND tap tempo all influence the delay together 😂
On it! Will take a while but yeah a mega pedal why not 😄
Stutterphone looks great. I love a bit of fuzz.
This is probably a boring idea, but I think a regular overdrive or fuzz with the triple bypass system would be super cool.
These seem very cool! ⚠️⚠️⚠️
that is sooo cool!!
Only place I've ever seen the flickering LEDs used is in the Last Gasp Art Studios Flickkr Tremolo
How did you manage to “smooth” the clicking of the rotary dial?
O_O
Stutterphone is a masterpiece!
nice man succes on these .., very cool ...,
Hey, I got one for ya.

Love it! Literally made me smile hearing it.
amazing!
Tap tempo bypass is very cool!
@emilyharpist I feel like the Magpie is calling you and Russ out here with that Weird pedal. I could be wrong, it could easily be any of them :P These are so amazing!
Noooo I got the Stutterphone V1 but I want the V2 now please! 😬 😂
like to see the Stutterphone as an Eurorack Module!
Is it possible to use the triple bypass on bbls in non-manual mode?
A bit surprised you used a lightbulb graphic instead of a candlestick
Is it easily possible to bake a phone dial pedal that swaps between 10 diffrent effect sends when you turn it ?
Use it like a 10 way switch that rotates from 0-9
anything is possible
Does the Bubbles 2 go fully wet?
Sort of new era
That Bit Pirate is a must have for me... not as much as Bubbles. I want that shit so fuckin bad man. So bad.
Sick.
What happened to Bubbles?
“Send these of to professional influ… demo-ers” 😋
Cool pedals though 👍
