Excellente vidéo, la restauration des angles avec la recharge de métal à un rendu incroyable. Pour avoir la même au poignet c'est vraiment la montre parfaite, un charme que je n'ai jamais trouvé ailleurs.
Bonjour! Excellent restoration! Now to find someone who can refinish the bezel. Surely someone can? I have been restoring for 35 years but have yet to find someone akin to a re-dialler who can refinish an anodized bezel. Cheers!
Fantastic! I hope you can find a way to restore the bezel as well. BTW, I notice you didn’t try to replace the missing screw on the crown wheel. Does it work all right with just one?
Thanks ! This is the next big investment in the workshop, but its a huge one. There is two holes but one screw is a small one for the crown wheel and the other one is actualy the one of the automatic bridge, it goes thru the bridge and goes in the opposite hole of the small one. (Not sure if im very clear haha, in conclusion there is indeed two screws for the crown wheel but they are not the same like on most movements 😊)
@@douro20 I love it, PS, I have the "nice" version of this watch a gold PR16 GL it looks a bit similar but the time markers are on a separate elevated ring and look like little diving planks hanging over a pool's edge. with the dial recessed a little bit. I want to get mine replated and serviced. It is a really attractive watch.
I mainly do not collect and restore many vintage watches because I hate plated base metal. And many early divers watches have base metal cases. I prefer stainless of course. Easier to refinish. That is one cool welder! And your ultrasonic cleaner is huge! Maybe I should send you all my watches. I have one now I am having a seriously hard time finding pushers. It is a Daniel JeanRichard Chronoscope. I can not find anyone who knows how to get ahold of Daniel JeanRichard even through GP where the link takes you . They act like they have never heard of Daniel JeanRichard? It is rather frustrating.
As soon as I saw the case welding, that was an immediate subscribe.
Welcome onboard 😉
same here. I want to see more like that
I love this! I'm super interested in case restoration and no one else seems to touch this in terms of welding anyway. Thanks!
Omg you're a magician bravo!!!
Beautiful job, congrats
Nice work on this case !! Almost no piece is beyond hope for restoration with this technology. Nice clean running movement at the end, too. A++++
case welding is a work of art , if bazel could be replaced or restored it would be perfection

Merci ! Oui c'est clair, c'est énormément de matériel et de travail pour obtenir ce résultat mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle !
Bonjour, Merci de me dire la marque de cet appareil à recharger ?
That poor thing went ticking despite the condition. Well done. That's the way to restore a watch. Beautiful watch and ugly bracelet. A new subscriber.
Amazing stuff!
Great resto perfect for 4k
Great job👍

That's my next big project 😎
Very nice restoration on the case BUT why did you stop there and not replace the lume on the dial and especially on the hands?
That was the owner's choice 😉
Superbe travail Julien 😉
Nice job! What's the name of the welder you are using?
Amazing!!
Was it an armoured glas (with steel inner ring) you mounted? What measurement? Thank you.
I'd love to know the recipe for your ultrasonic cleaning solution! But great video!
What model Lambert welder are you using? Fantastic result!
3+ 😉
That bracelet is diabolic
Amazing job!Can you tell me where can buy wclding repair case machine?
@4:08 “adjusting the machine” is now my favorite euphemism for sex.
Wow 👌
Good video, it's an incredible job, could you tell me what machine you use it for
Weld? :)
🤔🤔Só faltou o bezel novo 👍🏻👋🏻
Hello, please what laser machine do you use?
This wasnt a laser this was a tig welder. Now (latest video), I have a laser

Looks like this watch got in a motorcycle accident. How did you get the bezel off?
Sir, what type of a welding machine are you using?
A homemade custom machine made from a mix of few different machines
@@LeRestauratHeure thanks
Ahhhh man, the bezel.
Could nothing be done?
what is that little spot welder, and where do I BUY ONE?
It's a very expensive German-made pulse TIG welder from PUK/Lampert.

Where are you located?
France 😀
This is actually a Bond watch. Live And Let Die with Roger Moore from 1973.

*Too bad the bezel couldn't be restored or replaced.*
I don think that this is the original band.......look at the fit, its not wide enough between the lugs 😢
