Tomas Valainis yeah i find that interesting that 500hz is also what you use for your g602. I dont have one i actually have a g700s but 500hz is better and smother, tracking wise on my 9hd. I wonder if their sensors are related either way i use 400 dpi in counterstrike. I can understand the mouses capability in other settings with higher dpi. This mouse the Mx master looks to be a good fit for multimedia purposes such as video, photo, and music editing. Since you can put custom settings for 2 scroll wheels. If it has macro capability you can switch what you are affecting with both wheel or one on the fly.
The MX Revolution was amazing. I used to own one while I didn't do video editing it was great for general use. It had a horizontal scroll wheel and that I think would feel better than the MX Master. That was the greatest mouse I've ever had though

Microsoft mouses are good. I dont know model number or anything else that i picked it up from some store for 20€ and there came Duracell batteries in box. Im not heavy user but those duracells have lasted now 1 Year and 3 months.
I've been rocking the microsoft mouse for so long and I'm currently using it now. As a student, its the best mouse you can ask for. portable and easy to use. i bring it in my backpack everywhere i go.

Gnarled Mechanical keyboards aren't even made for gaming really, at least not Cherry switches. I feel like they benefit productivity/typists a lot more than gamers.
The main reason I got this mouse was so I could assigned the horizontal scroll to the volume control. I'm always changing the volume when gaming and it's awesome to do it just by using the scroll wheel while in-game. One of the best purchases i've made for my pc.
I've had this mouse for about 5 years. It was great, but in the last few months, the thumb button has broken. As a mac user, having that button and allowing for gesture controls was a huge benefit.
The scroll wheel started free scrolling in under a week, I can't keep it from scrolling all the time up and down :/ Kinda disappointing for a 100$ mouse. It's apparently a common problem with these... I'm definitely getting that money back...

Lord Krigarjonas Go for a Logitech G700 or a G600. I have both and love them both. The G700 has a lot of the same functionality as this MX Master, and is usually on sale a lot cheaper.
After watching your review, I bought the MX Master. I have to admit it is a great mouse. However, I think that the only really outstanding thing about it is the possibility to customize all the buttons on a specific basis to each program. Although it's a good mouse, here's a few negative points consider: *Negatives* _- The scroll wheel has become a little loose and twitches horizontally ever so slightly. Lol I've only had mine a couple months but the battery life is insane! I had $10 mice before that would last like one week... I just wish it were lighter.
I'm enjoying it. One thing I'd change is the placement of the side scroll wheel and buttons. Maybe move it 1/4 of an inch forward, so I don't have to bend my thumb inward 90 degrees to reach the side buttons. The top of those two buttons is also awkwardly placed/small. I have to focus a bit harder to press it and not the larger bottom button.
Wow! That feature allowing for copy paste between devices is awesome! Does it have a dongle for Bluetooth-locked work PCs? Right now I'm using the left hand to control this PC's mouse and the right hand to control the other PC's mouse... But for the purpose of controlling two PCs simultaneously you do need two separate mice as it's not practical to have to flip that switch every time you need to control one or the other.
G602 for me, those MMO mice are kinda neat but not nearly enough of a thumb rest. (also its useless for me as it appears like you'd hit the buttons too often in a first-person game)

I never see left handed people use mice on their left hand. It makes no sense either because even if the mice was on the left, the entire keyboard layout is maximally designed to be used with... the left hand

I use an E-Blue Mazer II mouse. It's battery life has been going for 6 months without changing and I use it maybe 6-8 hrs a day, can light up, and has soft plastic. Pretty dope.
Been through two MX3200 and one MX5500 keyboards who've been lost to connection issues (absolutely atrocious reliability in that department), but my MX Revolution mouse has held strong through the years. Love it. But when it does eventually give out, the Master is where I'll look to first.
Just got mine in the mail! Really loving it so far. They definitely should have made the two buttons next to the horizontal scroll wheel a little bigger and put them on the opposite side of the wheel. Or just put one on either side of it.
One thing that is not mentioned in the review is how the material feels. I use the logitech M560 precisely for its superior feel: a rubbery coating and rubber side grips that don't make your hands sweat like other mice do if you get warm fast.
I bought this mouse around the time this video came out. It is great but I have started to have problems with it caused with my technique of delicately pressing on the bit that sticks out on the left with my right thumb. So far unable to get a screwdriver (type star five) to take it to pieces, I have had to learn to hold it without my thumb pressing on it. However the learning curve to find this out was long and this information might help someone else!
The Performance MX is still my favorite Logitech mouse of all time. Last year it started acting strangely and I contacted Logitech about it. Their response? They sent my a brand new Performance MX.
I'm still using an MX Revolution since all the other options were what I thought step downs. I have to feel the ergonomics, but I'm looking forward to upgrading.
Looks like a really nice mouse but I could never imagine switching from my Razer Naga. The 12 buttons on the side are so useful for editing, gaming, and watching movies.
This video was partially behind my purchasing an MX Master and I LOVE IT my one gripe is that after a few years of skin oil buildup has caused the metallic edges of the scroll wheel to go blue and occasionally I have to reset my bluetooth connection or it just flat out stops working. I would've liked to see USB-C and/or removable AA batteries (just swap in a pair of my eneloop AA rechargeables so I never have to use a cable)
0:57 Basic product / industrial design requires many many many iterations of models before going into production. At least the stuff you don't see on eBay for $1 including shipping. They probably had quite a few designs and prototypes before deciding that this was the best one.
After trying many mice, I settled on the WMO. You can get them cheap used on ebay- this logitech mouse costs 4 times more. However, you lose all features that modern mice have; there are no mouse4 or mouse5 buttons, etc. That said, you can't get a better sensor for low/medium sensitivity and they are pretty damn durable (especially if you get 3 for $80). Pair this mouse with a 120+ hz monitor, with the mouse set to 500hz polling. Can't beat it.
I don't know...the lack of on the fly DPi adjusting kind of sucks because that's the only thing that would keep me from getting this over my G700s. The size and shape certainly seems more comfortable. Hopefully they'll release some gaming version?
Man I LOVE that contrast of bronze and black! Wish they brought that back on the new series. ACtually, that gives me a thought, heres a challenge for all you mouse desingers!! Gimme a mouse with the funcionality and almost as long battery life as thing, and give it a nice trim of RGB, you will have a customer for LIFE!!!!! :D

Really helpful and really well done, professional etc. The scroll wheel on my sentenial ii went caput, I put so much use on it for CAD design, I really liked it but they don't make it anymore so I've been shopping around for a new one. I also have the performance MX on my other pc and I love it so I think I'll go with this one....
thumb buttons are intended to be used with the joint and not the tip of the finger. I don't know how you could try to use the fingertip, yet all people do. it's a mystery to me.

Oh dayum! I've been after a side scrolling mouse for editing for a while now! The only one I could find was the RAT, but that has some mixed reviews.

The Logitech G5 also has side-scrolling: the scroll wheel at the top tilts from left to right. Works well.

G602! Play at 400dpi in CS:GO and it feels almost or is as good as a wired mouse :D Macros are nice, use some for mic, use and other things

I use an E-Blue Mazer II mouse. It's battery life has been going for 6 months without changing and I use it maybe 6-8 hrs a day, can light up, and has soft plastic. Pretty dope.
Fantastic mouse mate. I can finally watch all your videos in glorious 4K because I got a new GPU. Awesome stuff.
Been through two MX3200 and one MX5500 keyboards who've been lost to connection issues (absolutely atrocious reliability in that department), but my MX Revolution mouse has held strong through the years. Love it. But when it does eventually give out, the Master is where I'll look to first.
Just got mine in the mail! Really loving it so far. They definitely should have made the two buttons next to the horizontal scroll wheel a little bigger and put them on the opposite side of the wheel. Or just put one on either side of it.
One thing that is not mentioned in the review is how the material feels. I use the logitech M560 precisely for its superior feel: a rubbery coating and rubber side grips that don't make your hands sweat like other mice do if you get warm fast.
I bought this mouse around the time this video came out. It is great but I have started to have problems with it caused with my technique of delicately pressing on the bit that sticks out on the left with my right thumb. So far unable to get a screwdriver (type star five) to take it to pieces, I have had to learn to hold it without my thumb pressing on it. However the learning curve to find this out was long and this information might help someone else!

The Performance MX is still my favorite Logitech mouse of all time. Last year it started acting strangely and I contacted Logitech about it. Their response? They sent my a brand new Performance MX.

I'm still using an MX Revolution since all the other options were what I thought step downs. I have to feel the ergonomics, but I'm looking forward to upgrading.

Master 3 just arrived. Cant belive it's been 4 1/2 years since the mx master came out. Definitely doesn't feel that long!
Looks like a really nice mouse but I could never imagine switching from my Razer Naga. The 12 buttons on the side are so useful for editing, gaming, and watching movies.
I'm sold. The magic mouse is killing my hand, but I didn't want to lose the horizontal scrolling.
This video was partially behind my purchasing an MX Master and I LOVE IT
my one gripe is that after a few years of skin oil buildup has caused the metallic edges of the scroll wheel to go blue and occasionally I have to reset my bluetooth connection or it just flat out stops working.
I would've liked to see USB-C and/or removable AA batteries (just swap in a pair of my eneloop AA rechargeables so I never have to use a cable)
0:57 Basic product / industrial design requires many many many iterations of models before going into production. At least the stuff you don't see on eBay for $1 including shipping. They probably had quite a few designs and prototypes before deciding that this was the best one.
Mionix does similar for mice, except the early prototypes are basically carved styrofoam, then scan it and make a 3d model and 3d print it.

A lot of mice goes through sculpting like you showed. Roccat mice are one example, and feature great ergonomic design.
Finally a seemingly worthy predecessor to the MX revolution. Can't wait!
After trying many mice, I settled on the WMO. You can get them cheap used on ebay- this logitech mouse costs 4 times more. However, you lose all features that modern mice have; there are no mouse4 or mouse5 buttons, etc.
That said, you can't get a better sensor for low/medium sensitivity and they are pretty damn durable (especially if you get 3 for $80). Pair this mouse with a 120+ hz monitor, with the mouse set to 500hz polling. Can't beat it.

I don't know...the lack of on the fly DPi adjusting kind of sucks because that's the only thing that would keep me from getting this over my G700s. The size and shape certainly seems more comfortable.
Hopefully they'll release some gaming version?

ACtually, that gives me a thought, heres a challenge for all you mouse desingers!! Gimme a mouse with the funcionality and almost as long battery life as thing, and give it a nice trim of RGB, you will have a customer for LIFE!!!!! :D

The scroll wheel on my sentenial ii went caput, I put so much use on it for CAD design, I really liked it but they don't make it anymore so I've been shopping around for a new one. I also have the performance MX on my other pc and I love it so I think I'll go with this one....
thumb buttons are intended to be used with the joint and not the tip of the finger. I don't know how you could try to use the fingertip, yet all people do. it's a mystery to me.
