Commentators like him are annoying! He acts like Alot of plays are the best one of the year! When he is announcing, I turn the volume down and try to find the radio feed! If I can't find the radio feed, I just jam to some music! That's how annoying he is to me!🤣🤣🤣

Tech has a history of taking them down
We were early adopters after they kept tearing them down in the 90s. Famously they carried one into the A&M student section lol.
Maybe so, but it takes away from the college experience, which is the whole point of going to school in the first place, to get drunk and take down the goal posts after a victory over a 6-5 team! You just can't put a price on that!
You'd think *more* teams would have them
not to mention that if they don't break and they come out of the ground (like what happened at KSU in 1999 I was there) they have to repair the field. Back then Snyder family stadium had the old artificial turf and it ripped the foundation out. Cost almost 20k to fix on top of the price of new goal posts. Looked like carpet after you take a knife to it and rip it out. Luckily they didn't have a game the following week while the concrete set lol.
A big season for Texas Tech. A under-talented team with a first year head coach and 3 different starting QBs and multiple injuries finishing 7-5 and 4th in the big 12. They were a Kansas State win away from making the big 12 title and have a top 25 recruiting class incoming. Joey McGuire has Texas Tech on the come up

@@PretendingToCare only texas is. osu is below tech. If Tech wouldve beat Kansas, all 3 teams (Texas, Kansas, Tech) would be 6-3, but tech would be above them both for beating them both.

My Raiders played with grit and tenacity all game. They earned this win! I went wild! One of the last times we play OU and Texas in a season, and we beat them both! Wreck Em!

One of the last times you play Texas and OU? I was going to ask what you mean, but then I remembered Texas is going to the SEC so they can get their ass kicked even harder than B12 has kicked it, so I answered my own question. LOL.

It was wide right and curved to the left after it was behind the goalpost. Refs were right there…angle of camera made it look closer than it was.

For nearly 15 years Tech fans haven’t had much to be excited about. We also stormed the field when we beat Texas this year. It’s been a longggg time since Tech played with heart like they have this year under the new coach. I would imagine it won’t be like that starting next year.
It’s the first time in Texas Tech’s program history to beat UT and OU in the same season. That’s a pretty dang good reason to storm the field

How do you not show that blocked field goal by OU but OU coach called a timeout at the end of the regular game that ultimately sent them to overtime!!
Because the Coach called time out…the line heard the call and stopped playing. That’s why they were able to block it. Kicker was basically practicing at that point.
Facts
After watching a bunch of OU fans crying abt the fg miss I put it at .25 speed and watched a few times. Camera angle sucked but looked pretty obviously to go behind the goalpost before being above it and then hitting the net.
Wasn’t there at the game but I’ve seen the angle from the end zone seats behind, it is definitely good
I’m a Texas tech fan and all but tbh, I’ve seen all the angles posted on Twitter and family was there. I think it went in too

Some of you are complaining the fg in OT was good, there's a ref on each side with the best view and they said it was no good, and not reviewable so it is what it is! Doesn’t matter who won.. but the fact a fg isn’t reviewable or that they don’t have cameras with exact angles is ridiculous. That has got to change in the future. That fact that it’s debatable means it should be reviewable if a coach wants to challenge or the booth wants to challenge
Thought they missed the call, too. But pausing carefully, you can see how the ball goes juuussst wide right of the right goal post (about two feet above it?) before it quickly hooks to the left and lands in the "Good Hands" net. So, yeah, OU missed the kick, which the announcer describes correctly as well. Sigh...

If OU had just a smidge of defense, they could win more games. I think the future is bright for the Sooners, however. Some players decommitted recently, and that hurts. I have confidence in Coach V.
