For the people that played RE 8 Villages.
Even shooting the giant BOW's durable body, it's still more effective than shooting at Lady Dimitrescu.
Well RE 8 villages take place before the creation of umbrella so technically lady dimitrescu is way much older than these B.O.W and she basically the origin of tyrant.
@@aqel0008 she is older than these B.O.W. but Resident evil village doesn't take place before the creation of umbrella. Lady D taught Oswald E. Spencer everything she knew and he saw the Umbrella logo in that cave and that's what he decided to call his new company.

The four lord's is only experiment that created by mother miranda if one of the four lord's is suitable host for eveline
But what's more crazy is that they still look young even though they way too much older than these characters. But sometimes that explain that mother miranda is witch, it makes sense tho

Fun fact: all creatures in game are named in Serbian. Ogroman means "huge one" in reference to his size. There are Javo (Serbian for devil), lepotica (pretty girl) and so on..
Yeah, with Ustanak meaning something like "insurrection". I wonder how it came to using Serbian in a Resident Evil game so prominently.

You realize that the BSAA is made for countermeasures against BOWs? I suppose normal army's and police would not hold out so good.
Ben Hartmann True, the BSAA are specialists in this, but just a few rifle shots at this creature’s exposed back organ (which gets yanked out when it’s deployed) leaves it curled up in pain. Any first-world army could immobilize it and call in air/artillery strikes, since it’s ridiculously easy to spot. Even a third-world militia could either kill it with small arms fire or just maneuver around it, since it’s massive and slow and easy to spot.

Yeah a few good points, but I think it's also gameplay wise and difficulty wise. I also think that BOWs like El Gigante, U8 and Ogroman are made to do as much damage on the battlefield as possible and are not even made to survive. That would count out the feeding factor, well aside from eating enemies and corpses.

U8 seemed like a decent enough design for a bioweapon, since it has a low profile and heavy armor (the one with all the weak spots in RE5 was supposed to be a flawed prototype). El Gigante was created by a cult to keep out intruders, and probably wasn't meant for a battlefield. Ogroman, though, is expected to wade into a warzone with no armor or weapons. For all the destruction it causes, some artillery pieces or bombs would probably be cheaper. But hey, at the end of the day, it's a game, and rule of cool wins out.
@@lakobause Yes a game :) but it's really interesting to discuss about that. Resident evil has so many types of monster's already, fitting for almost every situation. If they made more BOWs like Ustanak and TALOS with cybernetic and weapons they could maybe even take on Jets and drones. Only nuclear weapons would be out of match. But honestly the only thing to beat that destruction would be a matter - antimatter bomb or an asteroid impact. Or a exploding sun :D

As a game, I like it, but as part of the resident evil series, the way it was more action than survival horror, it isnt a good representation of the series itself.

I downloaded this game last week on PS4, it's been almost 5 years since I played this on Xbox360, I remember it being very clunky yet also fun, which is true, but somehow I like it a tad bit more now lol.
I honestly think RE6 has the best mercenaries mode out of all RE games, and the music is just rad
merc mode is a lot better definitely but the Campaign is 50-50 due to how much they spammed the QTE's which i annoying not to mention the Really bad Controls during the Chase Scenes.
The music in that mode makes me wanna put down my controller and pick up two glow sticks and some molly....
Regular the mercenaries from RE6 has too slow spawnrate of enemies. Enemies spawn too slow. Go and play RE5 or RE4 mercenaries instead, at least those games provide a good challenge.
Oh they definitely beefed up the difficulty on it too.
The PC version have Rochelle, Nick, Ellis and Coach from Left 4 Dead 2 as playable characters.

Part of me is wondering how the Umbrella Corporation stays financially afloat with every zombified or mutated “product” going on a rampage and causing massive losses of lives. The company has probably garner some attention from the government for these acts of uncontrollable destruction.
Because Umbrella was dissolved after Raccoon city, and they were blamed for that, this is another corporation

The bad side about this game is because it has the name Resident Evil on it. If it wasn't named as the 6 installment or the sequel and they named it as some kind of action oriented spin-off (like Dino Crisis 2) instead, this would at least be recognized as a good video game on its own.
And you can't argue with me about how the gameplay is basically the improved version of the previous game (RE4 and RE5) like for example, you can move while aiming, melee combat, stealth kill, evading, separated weapons and items inventory (Although I do prefer more on suitcase arranging mechanic in RE4).
Now I want to reinstall this and play the hell out of mercenaries mode. That shit never gets old, especially with that music.

The zombies are being smarter and stronger. Unlike RE1-3. When it all started. They didn't have time to prepare about zombos attack. That's why the genre become horror, survival.
In RE 4-6 it become action game, it's a great game tho.
the gameplay comes first, and then the story is made to fit everything together. Re was survival horror because that was the gameplay they have planned and not because that would fit the story. It is the other way round.

This is my favorite part in the game.

I can see this happening in the RE world since BOWs were actually meant to be used in war like this but I do agree that this game deviates from horror. Gives you adrenaline more than it gives you fear

I enjoy Resident Evil 6. Besides, having these action games in the Resident Evil series shows just how chaotic, insane, and dangerous bioorganic weapons can be in a different way than the other games do. Just think if it's big enough to trigger a military response, with the Clash seeming like a small war, I'd say they're pretty damn dangerous!

Honestly RE6 was so good its my favorite one of the whole series. It was so fun and so many fun mechanics and once you get it down it's so smooth, the story was so cool and way different than any game that had been made before and even after it, by making four different stories that combine it was so cool and I enjoyed its mercenaries so much more. I need to get it and play it on pc now.

If we follow the japanese title Biohazard then this is correct because we are fighting with bioorganical thing but if as Resident evil then this is wrong because there is no evil in the residents, this game has more advanced gameplay and lost it survival horror element but it was good action game

Me gustan los personajes de resident, como Chris y León y hasta Sherry pero en cuanto a temática , esto parece más un Gears of War que un resident Evil, no tiene esos elementos de suspenso que vimos en los primeros RE. Aún así buen juego, gracias por compartirlo. 😁😁👍👍

Unpopular opinion, I really like this mission here, and sure the tyrant following Jake isn’t the same as Mr X in the original even Nemesis but hes pretty cool for an all out action game, probably my happy thought was we would see the Super Tyrant somehow jumping the big biy and even throws him to the other area only to be squashed knowing hes powerful but not as mighty.

Great game honestly, I remember playing this with my older cousin on his PS4, I could never understand how people play this without getting scared lol.
Anyways this bossfight was the most memorable moment I had of RE6 because really I didn't pay attention to the rest of the story afterwards.

re6 is a good game to play and a lot of fun. it still has three different characters to play with, it just isn't faithful to the resident evil franchise in terms of survivor horror but overall it's a great game.
