The difference is Chris is an ordinary soldier with excellent physical condition, while Jake is a superhuman.
I love how Jake beating the fuck out of Ustanak is the natural evolution of the survival horror protagonist overcoming the big bad monster that's been chasing them the entire game. Leon had the rocket launcher, Jill had the railgun. Jake? Jake had these hands, and they're rated E for Everyone.

@@bimoprakoso2820 It's still the same, all 3 of these pursuers chase the main character or characters throughout the whole game and end up as the final bosses (except in Re2, where William can be the final boss, depending if you're playing the first or second run)
I say super stubborn and annoying. Just like parasites that refuses to be let go.

Honestly the idea of Wesker but good sounds like an interesting mechanic. Especially if you include the melee combat. Would be loads of fun

Honestly super cool how they brought back Sherry for this game. Hope to see her in future RE games, she has a lot of potential as a character.

I kinda want a game that follows either the backstory of Jake or the aftermath of Jake's story in RE6. His hand-to-hand combat is remarkable.

Ah... The Legendary Jake Muller. Appearing in Resident Evil 6 as the Son of Wesker, and nowhere else. No one can forget that scene where he badly intimidated Leon Kennedy, despite the fact that Leon wasn't afraid of Chris at all.
It's a tragedy that Jake only appears in Resident Evil 6, and nowhere else. In this video, he's taking on Ustanak, who is supposed to be ten times more powerful than Nemesis, all by himself, with his bear hands. In this playthrough, Jake wins every round, save for the final one, which Ustanak wipes out almost instantly.
It seriously sucks, and I mean it REALLY sucks, that Jake gets such a raw deal in his storyline. He deserved more. He's awesome. Not just awesome...
Look, it's okay. Jake's story isn't over yet.
Don't worry, he will be well used by Capcom just like many other characters, he'll probably appear in another game... probably in 10 years if he's lucky, alongside Carlos, Billy and Sheeva...

I did indeed play it again. That was on PS4 tho. Now that i have an Xbox series x i don't have it no more. I'm playing Re7,Re8 and the remakes tho. Can't wait for Re4remake.

I think if you found out that you were stronger and faster then most humans that you would train in martial arts so you could put those abilities to use. The only ability that looks like weskers is the upward palm strike and that could just be coincidense

I don't know why many don't like Jake, for me he's a great addition to Leon and Chris because he stands along with them and he makes his bare fist do the work. Hope Capcom will bring him back since he had a potential to continue what Leon, Chris, Jill, Claire, Barry and Rebecca have done to the series, maybe along side Sherry again with Natalia, Moira and Rose.

I really wish Capcom Create a new Resident Evil that is jam packed like RE6 i mean people hate 6 because they say that it lost its Scary Horror Zombie Survival theme and became a Action Game i mean its a fair point but the Action and Rouge Characters is what makes Resident Evil so Damn cool and the thing that i also love is that the creators are very very consistent in there story telling they never went off road on the whole franchise that you still get to see the best Characters that the franchise have thats why it makes it so damn awesome.
RE6 was a slow burner when it came to gaining a stable audience but has since become one of Capcom's best selling games. I think Capcom is trying inject some of that bombastic flavor again w/o starying too far from the horror in their upcoming games starting with RE8 Village.

Quick tip if you still have more to play. You can reset recoil animations by swapping your shoulder iirc. I.e when you shoot elephant killer try swapping shoulders and pulling the trigger again.

Later proceed to ALWAYS throw Jake on the metal platform after getting a hold of him 3 or 4 times despite being ENTIRELY SUROUNDED BY LAVA.

If we are talking about Weskers son you know he is going to be stronger, faster, and smarter, we don't see that much power from jake YET just wait till more resident evils come out I assure you he will probably be in the next one or so. I know jake has potential, as a matter of fact if we do see him in other resident evil games to come there is a mid chance that he might be stronger than leon or chris combined I just know it.. Lots I liked, lots I didn’t.
I loved most of the enemy/boss designs. Level designs were ok. Gameplay was fine even if certain mechanics were overused.
The tone of the game was off if that makes sense. Not sure how to describe it

Looking back now, in a game that saw Leon, Ada, and sherry return, I wish Claire would’ve been in Chris place for a full RE2 reunion
Or they could have just removed Helena in Leon's storyline. Although I do like her as a character. I felt it would've been perfect for claire to be here. At least we know where she's been in Re: Revelations 2.

I know resident evil 6 wasn’t well received during its launch but I’m kind of sad we probably won’t get another cheesy over the top action resident evil game ever again.
I wouldn't necessarily say "Never Again". Its moreso that Capcom is going back to it's roots for a bit to see how fans react to newer yet classic RE mechanics.
I'd imagine they're already working on an action/horror game with Jake in mind. Maybe he'll team up with Leon...ya never know hehe

@phantomxero1x447to be fair, only nemesis spends the entire time hunting someone like the re6 boss(Rachel and Jack have limited appearances and aren’t the main boss). But nemesis in the original was mostly optional and didn’t take as much damage as the re6 boss was, who got crushed, shot, blown up, and more.
