Blazer Hell we have the nostalgia bias - when I played RE2 I was 12 and my youthful brain just produced more dopamine. These days are over and nothing can bring them back sadly... the RE2 Remake was good, but it was lacking some love. Haven't played RE3 yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

The old games, pace were slower, more atmosphere and more puzzles set between levels that doesnt pin point players what to do, but instead, let the players themselves discover the environment with some hints. Now, complete newer games made you felt like the you played some cheap flash games, completely lacking lenght and contents, not just RE but applies to many other games

I like the og second form more due to the AI. It became more aggresive with new movesets and just nemesis in the og re3 being able to free roam. After stage 2 for the r3make it doubled downed to boss fights and scripted events.

It actually makes more sense this time around. Even though the original had him hardly resemble Nemesis in his final form, it didn't make sense that he still died from a few bullets somehow despite being able to survive explosions. This Nemesis still had his face in the finale but was so strong it took 3 railgun shots!

The thing that drives me insane, that ruins most games and movies for me--explosions. Why? Let's say you're caught in the direct explosion itself, you're not caught in those flames, but just close enough the force sends ya flying. If the explosion is that strong you're dead. The sheer concussive force is gonna break your bones and rupture your organs. If you're lucky that'll kill ya near instantly, if you're not lucky you'll a live a bit ans know what it's like for your ENTIRE body to be suffering internal hemorrhaging. Bottom line: all moves and games where someone gets sent flying but not burnt by an expolsion wpild be dead, they wouldn't be getting like they just got the wind knocked out of 'em.
