Well, it's the closest thing to a symmetrical form he ever had. The closest he got to perfection. Because before it, he was only mutated on one side, and in all subsequent forms, he just grows into a more morbidly obese, incoherent mass of eyeballs and tentacles.
It always unnerves me looking at normal Birkin side by side with any of his later forms. It shows just how far G will go to keep its host alive one way or another.
What makes Birkin the best and most terrifying is that he's lost all control, is in complete agony, and the G is literally pursuing his own daughter to breed with her while he seemingly watches. It's twisted af. All other mutants, besides Steve, are just a bunch of manchildren throwing tantrums.

I've always found it so annoying how we can't, with our limited capabilities always tell who or who isn't a good or decent person apart from the not-so-good and the downright evil. If they ever remaster or remake the Resident Evil movie series we need the giant supersized mutated Animals and Infected Animals replacing the zombies. The giant mutated Animals and Infected Animals look a lot cooler than the zombies.
Birkin will always be the OG of monster transformstions, he starts as a lesser Tyrant, then he becomes something that looks like a Tyrant but way more powerful. As transformations goes on you can see how Birkin human face gets swallowed by the new monster flesh. Third transformstion is just s perfect monster, super strong, agile and there is no sign of birkin humanity anymore. Fourth transformstion is just a hellhound, a thing from nightmares and the 5th transformation is something horrifying, the monster wont let you go. Truly a persistent opponent. Dimitrescu is meh, Simons tried hard to copy Birkin and it didn't work, although his T-rez mutstion was cool. Nemesis is ok. Alexia should have stsyed first form

I've always found it so annoying how we can't, with our limited capabilities always tell who or who isn't a good or decent person apart from the not-so-good and the downright evil. Imagine a world where the worst of the worst just transformed into monsters one day. Sure, it would be terrifying, but the ability to see your enemy in plain sight is much easier than having to watch your back all the time.

2 most satisfying things in Resident Evil games (in my opinion, although I’m sure others may agree with me): Death animation, and mutation animations.
I find it interesting that William Birken's face always somehow managed to remain in most of his transformations, contorted and disturbed.
The biggest letdown for me was Albert Wesker. Had hope he would get a super over form.

The creepiest thing to me involving transformations via virus/parasite, even seeing how advanced the later viruses are where the host can control it they never show the ability to transform back to human form. So basically it feels like their transformations are purely a last resort and they can never turn back.

Birkin will always be the OG of monster transformstions, he starts as a lesser Tyrant, then he becomes something that looks like a Tyrant but way more powerful. As transformations goes on you can see how Birkin human face gets swallowed by the new monster flesh. Third transformstion is just s perfect monster, super strong, agile and there is no sign of birkin humanity anymore. Fourth transformstion is just a hellhound, a thing from nightmares and the 5th transformation is something horrifying, the monster wont let you go.
Truly a persistent opponent.
Dimitrescu is meh, Simons tried hard to copy Birkin and it didn't work, although his T-rez mutstion was cool.
