Graphics and presentation were fantastic (for a Wii game) back in the day, but in retrospect, the game wasn't even to the same quality as Umbrella Chronicles. It (and Umbrella Chronicles, tbf) also seems to have been retconned out of the series canon completely if the RE4 remake rumors are true.
@NiEMO It gets easier if you just think of everything released after RE 7 as being in a new continuity. (If the RE4 remake rumors are true, Lord knows Capcom is doing that)

This game plays sooo much better with a motion control, I hate how on ps plus premium it doesn’t allow us to use them. I would dual wield to make the game more fun.

What in the good gracious is going on with that camera??? Like, I get it, it's an on-rails shooter, but that doesn't mean it has to go out of it's way to make everybody motion sick!
The weird thing about this janky aim is that, the crosshair doesn't follow the camera. So realistically, this is like your entire body shambling around while your arms are perfectly still aiming the gun. If you wanna know how this looks like IRL, hold something like a gun infront of you, and rotate your neck, and hips around, but your shoulders and elbows remain locked in position. That's how hilariously bad this is.

Sherry and seemingly Rose are literally the only ones to have been given more focus but both were pretty disappointing so far.

You do really have to wonder what they were thinking when they decided to make the camera this damn shaky for an on rails shooter. Was it to add to the difficulty? Make it more cinematic? Both? Either way, it's bad design.
I agree with your point. It was to make the player's point of view as if you are the one who is fighting bio-weapons, aside the canonical playable characters. In reality, this would give you PTSD or worse, as if your perspective that you are fighting a monster that grows and mutates. If I was in this situation, my priority would be get away safely and destroy it.
