Hands down, my all-time favorite movie. I don't think it can ever be topped. Best movie quote I've ever heard: "Fear causes hesitation, and hesitation will cause your worst fears to come true.."
That was $7.84! I watch this movie probably 4 times a year. Just saw it again last week. Just a simple and fun movie with great action scenes, great soundtrack, and NO political correctness. I miss those days.
My favorite movie of all time! Not even the remake came close to it. The music and some of the scenes are still remembered today. I have the movie poster in my gameroom and still watch the movie regularly. People always give Keanu a difficult time about his acting but along side Patrick Swayze (rip great one) and Gary Busey, it was the perfect trio. My favorite line: we'll get him when he gets back! He's not coming back! Thank you Patrick for giving us memories that will last a lifetime and thank you so much for sharing this with all us! ❤
I agree, it’s a great classic with awesome staying power. A mature, non stop Adrenalin rush with great characters. They knew how to develop characters back then, so they would bond with the audience. It’s my favorite Swayze flick for sure, and Keanu for that matter. At times lol Keanu was a little off beat w his delivery but overall he did a great job. I can’t see anyone else playing that part. I’ll see you in the next life, is my favorite line. Thanks for the great feedback.

Great video! Thanks for posting. I talked to the writer Peter Illif a few years ago and he told me this about how he got the character names: "I'm a huge 49er fan. Joe Montana, Johnny Utah. A dear friend of mine I was waiting table with while writing the first draft helped me with ideas as we would cut lemons and prep for our shifts. His name was Bodhi. He came up with a lot of Swayze's stuff. The restaurant we worked in was called Angies. It was run by Angelo Pappas, a greek man who taught me how to drink Ouzo, which was part of the early Busey character, but later written out. Tyler was a hot chick I was crazy about who never gave me the time of day. Harp... hmm.... that i forget."

One of my favourite 90's films. They don't make them like that anymore. Great location hunt there! Doesn't look as glamorous as it does in the film; maybe that's movie magic! Thanks so much
Also a lot of these locations in l.a from films in the 90s the roads have all been modernised the signage is different all the different decor or buildings have been modernised and have a lot of health and safety features and regulations and a lot of things don't seem as bare and open as they once did in the 90s
@@rocknrolladventures when areas evolve they often lose their uniqueness, open space or big sky. The other week I visited my old university campus (I left there in 1997) and it has also lost some its appeal. Fewer open spaces, less greenery, and obscured views. This movie though was a classic. Remakes of these classic films often fall on their ass; the actors are not as tailor made for the roles and the storylines are stepped up in brutality and swearing or political correctness. I really hope they never try to remake Jaws or Aliens!

Dude!!! What an amazing video made. There were two skydiving scenes, one was shot at California City Parachute Center using Perris's King Air and the other scene was shot at Lake Powell using Perris' King Air.
My favorite film. The soundtrack, the actors, the stunts, the intensity, humor and passion. Great cast, crew directing and plot. Everytime I watch this movie, it never gets old. For years I still quote many lines from this movie after 30 years.

I always visit Leo Carrillo when I'm on my annual trip to LA from Liverpool, England. It's my ultimate "happy place", such a beautiful place. The sheer amount of movies and TV shows that have been filmed there is incredible! When I stand on that beach and look out to the west, especially as the sun is going down, everything is alright in the world again! Plus it's free and they don't sting you for 45 bucks for parking......Unlike Paradise cove lol
@@NickP Since the 90's, I was always told the "Bell's Beach" scene was filmed on a stretch of beach called Short Sands at Oswald West State Park. It is a very popular surfing spot to this day and all the wooden foot bridges are still there.
I was in SoCal as a young Marine in 1991. I linked up with a girl named Michelle who took me to see Point Break in L.A when it was released. Nice memory. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, mate...💯

Wow you really did put a lot of time and effort into that video, thanks man. It is hands down my favourite movie of all time (hence my Channel graphic!) and I never ever tire of watching it. Kathryn Bigelow and James Cameron classic. Such a shame it came out same year as T2 coz that ruled the cinema.
