It's a business model. Construct poor quality roads then keep repairing.
Company fitted LED's should also be declared absolutely illegal. I was driving on a two lane highway (one lane for each side) during night. Suddenly a Creta appeared and I was so much blinded because of its LED lights, I literally had to stop for few seconds to let it pass through.
Absolutely 💯 LED headlamps should be banned totally
totally agree !! but now the point is that it is becoming so normal that people like us who are driving with yellow lights feels more blinded in front of this white LED

Absolutely correct. LED should be banned in all vehicles at all levels and standardized to normal halogen or projector yellow lights. Driving is a real pain because 1 vehicle has white LED and another has Yellow. Difficult for eye to adjust to contrasting colors.
Here 8 out of 10 people drive with high beam headlights on, in fact they are not aware the usage of high / low beam 😂.

Car stickers saying ‘Police’, ‘Army’ or ‘Airforce’ should be banned. These Government agencies have nothing to do with a civilian vehicle.
In Kota 'न्याय विभाग', 'पुलिस' and 'Army' are most popular! Vehicles with these stickers should be impounded for a minimum period of 6 months.

Thanks for highlighting the burning issues of car upgradation. I just want to bring some new issues which has come up recently introduced cars in the market. 1) Now most of the cars coming with 6 airbags and two are fitted with front seats and some the companies are discouraging seat covers for the cars which may causes bags are not coming out during emergencies.
2) Tyre pressure monitors are now common feature in new cars and sensors are fitted with tyre rims, now during upgradation of rims often rims are replaced with new ones and sensors are gone with original rims, and immediately after after replacement dash will show error in your tyre pressure. Companies are disowning the complaint and asking 25 to 30 K to refit the sensors.
You are absolutely right about these illegal modifications. People should know that horns are leading to large number of psychological disorders in people. I have personally suffered due to this and hence one would be surprised to know that it is very rare that I blow horn these days,it simply costs few seconds delay thats all. And I am calm and rarely get frustrated like these impatient drivers. Not boasting but stating fact about myself. In fact when I see people not blowing horn, I sometime walk up to them and complement them for this good civilised behaviour.
Having LED is not an issue, the problem is most of the people don't know how to use high and low beam, even with Halogen bulbs there are issues, one has to get used to it. Having said that one needs to drive responsibly. Honking is something where in we all remove our frustration, and hence our emotions need to be intact while driving.

To prevent all these, govt should take actions on vendor manufacturing all these. Cancel their license and also shops selling such things. If these will not be available in market definitely regulations will be there

In my view, 3M Paint Protection Film is good for the bonnet and perhaps front bumper. Nowadays with all the construction, stone chipping is a real problem. I’ve been wrapping my car’s bonnet since 2015 and have found it very useful

Second menace is the DRLs. While they are not a problem, some people decide to use them as headlights in the night instead of switching on the actual headlamp. Maybe these so called affluent owners don't know the full form of DRL is DAYTIME Running Lights. Which means they are more useful during daytime. If the headlamps are not switched on at night, the DRLs do not dim which blinds oncoming drivers and the tail light also does not switch on which is a major offence while driving at night. But i guess looking cool and annoying other people takes priority over safety.
When I purchased Altroz, as part of external accessories they suggested for skid plates. I could have purchased outside also, but I have seen multiple cases of running vehicle burning out. I decided to go with company modification only, though it cost me extra thousand but they are safe and reliable, more over your warranty is sustained.

What about Osram 50 Watt LED with 4300 Kelvin ? As per watt it’s within legal limit and also it’s not white and more of an off white?

Modifications are really dangerous also.
I remember installing Blaupunkt New York 750 4 years ago on my 10 year old i10 just to use Apple Carplay and it costed me 18k at that time. It was the best investment ever and it's still running flawlessly on a friend's car.
I personally think for a car upto 15 lakhs.. the cost of 70K to 1L on PPF is not justified at all.. as that much raise in resale value is not proportional at all.. it dosent make financial sense at all...

Sir LED Light wala blunder I accept, But about horns it's really became necessary, the stock horns make pem pem sound will never be heard by the zombie jaywalkers and animals, so it's really important to upgrade.
I hate driving in night due to such blinding lights.
Company fitted head light particularly halogen bulb is not at all good for night driving 100/90 bulb is much better but in city should not use high beem
Sir, the manufacturers do so after a lot of research, keeping in mind the legal city / highway traffic speeds, the oncoming traffic and the speed of the vehicle. If the throw is not very good, then believe me, it means that the manufacturer / the government is saying that please don't drive beyond a certain speed. It is for everyone's safety.

I bought grand vitara base model, but the headlights are so dim in it. I don't want to go with an aftermarket led and it seems like there is no option from Maruti itself for it. Can you suggest something that I can go for which won't void my warranty.

Planning for leather upholstery for the car.
Please suggest will it be a good decision or I should keep the upholstery of car in fabric only.
If leather upholstery is a good option then please suggest how much amount of money I should spend on the same.
Upholstery is better option especially in hot climates as it won't emit harmful chemical particles like in the case of leather seats.

Wider tyres (not increase in radius) is for better grip of the vehicle during turns. If you are calling it a bad modification, then you really don't know about cars and you are one of those people who is just jealous of not having a perfect car.

3xo has tight cluth and not so smooth gear. If it is 3xo i would suggest automatic which is Torque converter. Always go for lower varients because higher varients comes with high road tax, high insurance. In invoice , 28% would go for GST.

Touch screen, we did modified it in iur 2nd hand sx4…originally when bought it indeed is a waste of money…luckily my brother is a nerd and he has updated everything in it…now it supports everything…basically he changed its software…the accessories shop wont update this for you……
Why real bull bar is illegal? That should allow as our govt is bystandard. What wrong in protecting car bumper. All the pedestrian norms are for car only. Where car rash driving is compare to other non complaince pedestrian norm veichle is less. ( like Auto Rikshaw, small pick up truck,) They usually damage the car by driving rash. Why GOVT make a the law same for all category of veichle. Trucks running on Mines should have strong bumper but those we tends to operate in city only why they need metal bumper? These auton rikshaw and Tata Ace like small pickup also should follow that norm.
Most of the time bcoz of others mistake car guy has to suffer. Thogh its a dent / scratch car ll get the damage only. So rear bullbar not causing any harm but saves the owner pocket.

Company fitted LED head lights should be banned or it should be capped from top so that light does not blind the driver from opposite side. Even 4 inch projection would be enough for opposite drivers not to be blinded.

A growing menace on our roads are the Hyundai/Kia horns and especially the way their drivers use them. They think that constantly honking their loud horns will somehow make the traffic disappear. And it has started such a trend that because of them now everyone from an alto to a bike gets these trumpet horns fitted after market. It has become an absolute nuisance and the agencies seriously needs to check the decibel levels of these horns and ban them if illegal.

I completely agree with the problem of led nd halogen bulbs discussion. But you must come to Jharkhand we are forced by the people to use LED. Trucks and higher vehicles are not giving a fuck about pass light. Even knowing that it is a crime, I am using yellow LED firelike light in my bike as well. Also roads of Jharkhand are not made for lower beam the visibility for longer distance is compromised.. I respect the Laws and Acts but what about the government and authorities who make roads the make rules. Rules should be aligned to roads and real life driving situations.
Sir I'm confused between Baleno alfa and 3xo mx1. Mx1 I can customise from showroom to my need and other hand in Baleno I compromise from safety but get a good engine and mileage and have to pay 1.5 lakh extra from 3xo. What would you suggest.
