exactlly, roads and potholes can cause rim to bend, tyre to cut, in such conditions no tuncher repair kit will work. I have come across such situation Every 30-40k km in 3-4 different cars (mine & friends) so its very real issue.

All five 3 point seat belts. 4. Electrically foldable /adjustable OVRMs. 5. Day/night internal rear view mirror. 6. Physical button on dashboard for AC and infotainment system. Useless features: 1. Auto headlamps/viper 2. Sunroof 3. Wireless mobile charger 4. Heads up display 5. 360 degree camera 6. ADAS 7. Cruise control.
@@DriveShrive I actually found cruise control to be more intrusive on Mumbai Pune expressway. Honestly, I can see only 2 expressway where cruise control can be used most efficiently and those are Delhi Mumbai expressway( as of now ) and Mumbai Nagpur Samruddhi mahamarg expressway. Other than these every other highways have too much traffic. Additionally I think that using a cruise control can make a driver more sleepy on straight highways since there will be no physical body movement at all. Just a thought . 🙂

Well pointed out video for most unnecessary features. However regards ADAS 2 ,while emergency braking may not be ok for the city driving, the features like rear collision alert and blind spot monitoring are very useful in the city
Yep, Car is not a smartphone, Wish the manufacturers understood that. Instead of giving features that enhance the driving of the car, they rely on gimmicks. All flash and no substance, forgotten after the initial show-off.

Wireless charger: People use it only for some time not daily. In emmergencies while driving car solo. If I am paying 15lakh, I just want to have these luxury features that give feel good.
I totally agree with you with sunroofs. But tell me one thing, now specifically in indian markets if I want to buy a car with decent features, sunroof is a must in all of the entry level cars. Now since I can’t avoid that I am having to live with one. Manufactures should keep sunroof as an optional feature to add with some extra bucks. That’s my opinion.
Agree to most of the things, and the moment you drive upper-segment cars, you'll understand that the execution is not good in sub-25-lac cars. But the sunroof works well to cool your car also, and it works pretty fast, so it all depends on how you use it. Yes, the sunroof curtain should be heavy enough.
Very True !!!!! Unreliable execution of all the useless features are dangerous..... people should be educated to choose the right things in the cars rather than having useless or unrequired features. The same applies to cell phones..... everyone wants all features and apps ....just to show off.

Wanted to add one point for a small sunroof. It is useful for getting good light in sedans like Virtus, Verna. I'm enjoying it in my Virtus. But yes, pretty much useless in compact SUV/SUVs
@@DriveShrive I believe it's a bit claustrophobic in sedans due to less height compared to SUVs. So even a small sunroof provides good light and keeps the cabin airy and gives a good feel while driving.

Also, will I need to shift gears frequently with the 5-speed manual in lower gears?
You'll need to shift gears more with 6 speed transmission in city conditions but on highways, over 100kmhr, 6th gear can extract 1-1.5kmpl more Efficiency

Sadly, There's no car which is Best in every aspect. You have to compromise on something so please list your priorities in order, like 1. Mileage, 2nd maintenance, 3rd and so on in order for me to suggest you.
Wireless charger is really useful imo. If car manufacturers cannot implement it correctly it doesn't make the feature useless. The point could had been made differently.
As I said, when manufacturers start to cram in features without proper implementation, they becomes useless. I said it is not so useless in luxury cars which offer fast cooled wireless charging.

Sunroof is senseless feature specially in Indian invironment where there sunstroke effect you in summer season. Touchscreen is second stupid feature. It's created complications regularly. But in the name of so called futuristic manufacturers are misguided.
Cars are depreciating asset, after 50 years or also after 5 to 10 years these features will be cheap outdated features, enjoy what you have and spend for what a product is meant for After a century even luxury cars will be for the poor and the rich will fly , money is always young and age has a timer

Sadly, There's no car which is Best in every aspect. You have to compromise on something so please list your priorities in order, like
1. Mileage, 2nd maintenance, 3rd and so on in order for me to suggest you.

Wireless charger is really useful imo. If car manufacturers cannot implement it correctly it doesn't make the feature useless. The point could had been made differently.
As I said, when manufacturers start to cram in features without proper implementation, they becomes useless. I said it is not so useless in luxury cars which offer fast cooled wireless charging.
We don't have a phone that supports wireless chargers. For me, a car is something that takes me from one place to another in a safe and comfortable

KIA SELTOS is a perfect car for every single point mentioned. Just safety of high steel strength is missing or else all the basic safety which is there from Base Variant which none of the manufacturers give you
Watch my seltos facelift vs Elevate video, theyve added some reinforcements to the chassis like Creta so safety is better than Before, how much better thats the unknown part

Very true what ever u said even i am also totally against of all these features specially sunroof whoch has no use at all in India, infact i an accident when car over turn upside down that time no 5* rating car also can save the passenger after glass roof break ..!!

Sunroof is senseless feature specially in Indian invironment where there sunstroke effect you in summer season.
Touchscreen is second stupid feature. It's created complications regularly. But in the name of so called futuristic manufacturers are misguided.
Using Android auto/carplay on touchscreen is fine as maps and music comes handy without having to look at phone
All companies should provide sunroof optional in top end variants
Cars are depreciating asset, after 50 years or also after 5 to 10 years these features will be cheap outdated features, enjoy what you have and spend for what a product is meant for
After a century even luxury cars will be for the poor and the rich will fly , money is always young and age has a timer
