- Here are Top 5 Useless Car Features from Car Buyer Perspective. Know what all considered as priority by Car Buyers are actually the most useless features car buyers demand in new car
- Авто/Мото
The most overrated feature: sunroof
The most underrated feature: ventilated seats
The rarest feature : Paddle shifters.
Indeed
facts, just to get v seats, one has to always end up with the top most variant
Sunroof, panaromic feels Soo good, ventilated seats , you can fit ventilation pad on your seat.
@@ktolwal yes, company should also offer v seats as opetion in lower varient as well
Rear Defogger, Rear Wiper, Fog Lamp, Emergency Breaking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Day-Night IRVM these features are very useful & practical in daily driving; but sadly car manufacturers aren't giving above features across all the variants.
Totally agree sir.Auto manufacturer are only relying on cosmetic features which we will get bored or no one uses all features in cars lifetime when the honeymoon period of car gets over.Sad to see public are more shifting towards features than safety.
@@jagadishrathod510Frankly most of the car buyers in India are wannabes with low self esteem who buy cars just to prove that they have arrived. Giving gimmicky features works very well for manufacturers as it keeps cost down. Real useful features and safety is much more expensive. That's y most manufacturers in India compromise on build quality and provide this cheap gimmicky stimulation to the dumb consumers who actually see much more value in this.
Totally agreed

Bade dino baad RUclips par koi samajhdar mila, good observations, totally agree
Only Saurabh ji makes true experienced real condition video which are being always unbiased and avoid Bhedchal😊 Thanks sir
Excellent! You have hit the nail on the head. People need to prioritize their needs while buying a car and not fall for gimmicks.
Besides what you mentioned features like TPMS, cornering lights, day/night IRVM, speed sensing auto door lock should also be factory fitted in all the cars irrespective of the variant.
But the would increase the cost by 5k per car at most. They will give these by increasing the price by 90k for these.
@@TheFourthWinchester that is where the policy makers have to chip in
And simple power windows are essential
What about indicator buzzer 😢
Totally agree with your POV. One more thing to add here is, have seen many people going for more features but they dont bother about safety which is the most important thing. “Jaan hai toh Jahaan hai..” 😎
Bhai 5 star rated gadi Mai bhai full safety feature tab milte h jab top variant lo. Top variant Mai hi gimmicky feature jadda hote h. Bus phir baat vhi pahunch gyi
@@shivamthakur1176 bhai jo test hote hain wo base variant ke hote hain or unka features se koi lena dena nahi hota wo sirf body shell ke liye hote hain
You are absolutely right, Auto dimming Irvm, Dash Cam, Disc Brakes on all wheels, etc; should become default in all vehicles. Anyway we can't blame the manufacturers alone, our people want gimmicks and they provide the same !
Cars are mostly bought by those who can’t afford to maintain. Hence the rush to keep them cheap
You are hundred percent right. One RUclips channel describes sunroof for drying children. We have hardly seen 2 or 3 cars with sunroof open and children peeping out. Useless feature.
I just love his channel just for these reasons. Honest, real life and practical points. Unlike other channels who are only focusing on showcasing the new car and its features. But do these features really make sense? Ke koi ni kehta, but he does.
Going by your videos I am going to take delivery of Kushaq ambition on 3rd Nov. Saved 22k in Insurance and also 55k discount n dash cam as complimentary. Thanks Sirji thank you soo much.
Go for it, only one major difference you'll find in top model and ambition is ventilated seat 💺 , rest all are useless feature for which we have to pay 4 lakhs extra, ambition does the job and go for Kushaq, you'll love it.
Koi na. 3 saal ke andar skoda Wale servicing aur repairs mein nikal lenge kharch😂
Very transparent focus on
FALTU features..
Very nice 👍 video.
Very nice information sir ji.
हम आपकी बात से सेहमत हैं.
एक ऑर FALTU feature हैं की.
Tyre pressure monitoring system.
Problem is that if I want a ventilated seat and 360 only, I had to go for top model which comes with sunroof, Adas and some other useless features. What can a customer do !!
Exactly
Exactly... same prob k kaaran creta sx nd s(o) nhi lene k soch rha... creta S hi fir best hai...
Dono cheej bhar se lg skti hai..
Sir, perfect information and no-holds barred analysis of the useless things we aspire, great going. More people need to see this
Really loved this content Sir. Something very practical. We should abstain from these gimmicks and should purchase car with only basic features which are required for daily driving. Rest all will fade away during a period of time.
ADAS works really well even in city conditions. I have been using it for last 18 months. Extremely useful even in chaotic bumper to bumper traffic of Bangalore. Rest of the features are useless. I agree with you
wohi to keh re wo ki gaadi chalana sikho dhang se gaadi k ADAS k bharose mat raho.
Some ADAS features are useful in Europe and America and some are just gimmicks even for them. In India I really don't know what ADAS feature is useful. You should know that ADAS was originally intended for autonomous driving but it's not happening
Thanks Saurabh Ji for your honest opinions as always!
It helps us to make informed decisions
Very valid points highlighted here. I am of the opinion that these gimmicks will not only lose their utility over a period of time, but will prove to be high-cost maintenance points once the car gets old, badly affecting its functioning and it's resale value.
You can customize ADAS like switching off AEB if you so wish. But Blind Spot monitoring and Smart Cruise are quite useful.
Very True...Thank You for making this video. My car buying experience will be good now. 👍
Very well said... Dash cam, ventilated seats plus 3 point seat belt for rear mid seat passenger, Rear defogger, 360 degree camera, auto IRVm etc are worth other than fancy big screen, voice command, sunroof etc.
Completely agree with you. If they remove all these features and include only those required for indian roads the coast of the car will be reduced minimum by 30%
Completely agree with you and finding it difficult to choose my next car without a sunroof :)
Yeah true... There is no way we can say say no to sunroof it comes in most of the models....
You points are so valid and should be shared with Government and Manufacturers.
Totally agree with you. I am a new driver and did a test drive on Creta with 360 degree camera. This feature is a blessing on Indian roads.
real car lover and a professor like explanation! very very useful tips i guess car companies should take his advice for better indian features
One of the best lists of useless features in a car. Fully agree on Sunroof where i see educated people trying to flaunt their sun roof with kids standing out when driving... putting the lives of their loved ones at huge risk!
Manufacturers are skipping on must have safety features like rear defogger/ washer, front and rear parking sensors, electronically adjustable rear view mirrors, auto dimming mirrors, central locking, TPMS....all these would help you drive with better safety....
Very informative video, and very Nicely explained.
We purchased a Kia Seltos Petrol AT recently and are slowly getting to be aware of the dynamics of the vehicle.
Our views are....
There is a great need for all of us to be aware and to understand the hazards of operating ADAS in our Indian conditions where there js an aggressive zig zag and suprer fast driving and ever present possibility of animals or people suddenly crossing is not (repeat) not UNCOMMON.
WHAT will happen if the car in the front is with ADAS selected and the feature is ON and the vehicle suddenly stop's.
The car trailing will crash into the front car.
Similarly, the sun roof is neither suitable nor good for any meaningful use in our climatic conditions which are dusty and smoky.
The dust being the biggest killer for the smooth operation of the sun roof as it causes sluggish movement with irritating creaking sound. (we noticed this to our horror during test drive in one of similar cars)
There are many new features which appear impressive but before we celebrate such new facilities, we must pause and look at our driving culture, road indiscipline, the traffic jams, congestion and aggressive behavior of a very large number of drivers who are always in great hurry.
(My apologies for saying so, but don't we witness this as a routine on our roads)
There is also a need for the various car manufacture's to roll out models keeping in mind our Indian conditions, rather than just vying with each other to step ahead by introducing new features which are not conducive for our roads..
THINK and spread the good, the ugly and the bad features which include serious avoidable hazards.
Thanks

A real eye-opener awareness video.
Saw a new that customer bought xuv700 after seeing add that it will stop at 160kmpl .
Took for a rash drive with family in tiruppur higway rammed with bus and all 6 dead.
Useful information. Thanks.
A really helpful video when other car youtubers are playing along selling those gimmicks.
Highly productive informative information.❤❤❤. Amazing discussion and true fact which you have shared ..Hat 's off Sir .
Thank you ! Very good information.
I totally agree on sunroof story. First of all in summer times dust is all time high. Kids are pushed to enjoy sun roof while driving not understanding the flying dust hits their sensitive eyes, dust that gets into the car and how safe if driver hits sudden brakes!!! Seriously government should totally ban on sunroof feature in Indian cars.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:27 🌞 *Sunroof may not be as practical in Indian conditions due to heat, making the cabin uncomfortable during summers.*
00:54 🪟 *Frequently lowering car windows may not be practical in India; sunroof and windows can affect the cabin temperature.*
01:36 🚗 *Features like Autonomous Emergency Braking (ADAS) may not be as useful in India due to unorganized traffic conditions.*
02:33 📶 *Wireless charging in cars may not be convenient if the car lacks wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for navigation and music.*
03:13 🔌 *Consider the practicality of wireless chargers; using a wired connection might be more efficient for auto charging during navigation.*
03:28 🌬️ *Rear AC vents may create a "placebo effect" of cool air on faces, but without air vents, it's just cabin air recirculation.*
04:10 🗣️ *Voice command features in cars, while functional, may cause frustration due to imperfect processing and lack of seamless interaction.*
05:30 🚗 *Connected car features, controlled via apps, may lose their novelty over time, and car manufacturers should consider local road conditions when introducing international features.*
06:26 ❄️ *Cool front seats, especially in rear seats, are deemed more essential than features like cooled glove boxes and rear AC vents in Indian road conditions.*
06:50 🚦 *Speed limit indicators in cars could be beneficial for preventing unintentional speeding, especially in city limits.*
07:03 🚦 *Speed limit functions in cars can simplify life, but their inclusion varies across models and should be a standard feature.*
07:17 🔄 *360 camera setups, while luxurious, are more practical for large SUVs, making parking easier in congested Indian traffic conditions.*
07:44 💡 *Car manufacturers may showcase features, but consumers need to assess their utility in the context of Indian market needs and personal preferences.*
08:08 🔋 *Features like wireless charging, sunroof, and voice commands should align with individual needs, as cars are depreciating assets.*

बहुत ही बेहतरीन वीडियो ❤❤❤❤
I totally agree with all the points u hv mentioned... especially the sun roof, and people allowing their kids to stand on their seats to come out of the roof...so much disregard to their safety...
While at the same time they want enhanced safety in the car!

Good Night sir. Thanks For Wonderful Information
Nice suggestions.❤
I have watched a lot if your videos in the last week. Thanks a lot for all the input. As a novice and first car buyer i think i have adhered to a lot of things you mentioned and with the budget i had i have bought Nissan Magnite top model. Thank you.
Real situations explained. Very practical video.
Totally agree with you about sun roofs in India and in our climate call them SIN roof. People get influenced by auto reviews by many magazines and individuals youtubers who are irresponsible by not educating public properly, but they side with manufacturers as sun roof adds to profit. So is the case with promoting electric cars where technology is yet to evolve eco friendly and fore hazard is not yet taken care of. Most of today's gimmicks and gizmos are only to charge higher price for cars and that too on top.of highest taxes by our government.
Really true. Good suggestion.
Supremely sensible video.
Dashcam is a must as that will result in lots of heartbreak for the traffic police.
Very good and valuable suggestions
Very usefull video brother ❤❤
This is a correct way to assess a car ....nice ..
Very nice guidance and information
Bohott khub samjaya Bhai👌👌👌
Thank u so much for sharing such imp information to us
Thanks 😊
Sir u r perfectly correct but in India previous trend (still there) was fuel saving now people are mad about sunroof, ADAS etc. Even coming out through sun roof is now punishable under MVA. Many of my frnds & family members purchased sunroof model but never opened it.
Excellent and educative video
Very matured and realistic review. Hats off to you
गुरुदेव एकदम सही बताया आपने.!
HATS off to BRO, simply the BEST knowledge sharing!!
2:13 the reasons that you mentioned are exactly why you need ADAS in India
I did a 10k mile drive in mid 2022 in the US. A couple of cars that I rented had Adaptive Cruise. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on a decent maker in India that has ADAS-2 at least.
I test drove the Ionic5 and loved how Stop and Go worked at traffic lights.
Lane assist is an irritation, sure. But EB and adaptive cruise are a blessing.
Very good information.good job sir keep going.
Good precise video awesome
Great points !!!
Very good video.

Very well explained. 👍
What a useful and informative video. Keep it up dear.
This great information earned you a subscriber dude , this kind of RUclipsrs are really doing great job for community
So true, sunroof is not for Indian conditions.
But unfortunately now a days security assistance like on screen display on left-right indicator is given only on toplines i.e. with sunroofs
Absolutely agree. Gimmicks which are totally irrelevant. Add stuff like automatic headlight/washer auto headlight etc.
Very well said
Very sensible advice ❤
Too good👍🏼
Very beautifully brought out fact.
