I bought a 2019 Honda City last year driven just 28K KMs at a cheap dirt price and been super happy driving it. The experience is amazing. It was my first second hand car I bought which led me to buy 2021 i20 again at a great price just this month. I might never buy a new car ever again 🤭

Hi Pranay! I just wanted to say I love this format of videos, and I love the take on automotive content you guys are putting out. Please continue this. Also, next episode - Bangalore used car market?
Thank you both of you bro its a pleasure to hear all the mythical and devotional car talks and sharing experiences from buyers and sellers point of view
Hi Pranay, I always learn something new from your videos-they're truly insightful. I was wondering if you could create a video guide on buying demo cars. With so many dealers offering them in the market, it would be incredibly helpful to understand how to properly assess their value and identify any red flags. Thank you for consistently delivering great content. Keep up the amazing work!
I think that you guys should add another depreciation criteria, i.e., non-compliance with E20 fuel atleast in cars that can be bought new because higher ethanol content might prove to be a cause for early demise of vehicles otherwise car manufacturers wouldn't have had to release new models with E20 compliance.
Excellent and insightful episode the car dealers are there to crack the buyers at maximum profit either by hook or by crook but the advice and the thought process conveyed by you guys just gives us the insight and the leverage we need to crack them Thank you for the lovely episodes do keep them coming
Dude i enjoyed ur video... I spend 2,3 hours on RUclips... On variety of topics.. but ur mrcc n gold comparison n car discount and this video.. all 3 out of topic i found ... Great info... Awesome
Hi guys! The sonet where you thought was fishy lisiting and both had same info & photos. The explanation for that is : First was a featured post & other the second one was the same listing shown due to the applied filters. So the people who list the vehicles can pay a fee to these websites to make their listing shine at the top, above the ones that haven’t paid this fee.
Cars which are discontinued are more interesting to watch has a second hand buying option. Will like to watch next episode about discontinued which are crazy value for money cars.
Really enjoyed the discussion and the different ways to investigate any listing before making any conclusive decision on the purchase of the vehicle. Keep doing the good work, Pranay. 😊❤
I completely agree with your way of calculating the price of the car but unfortunately as a buyer it is really difficult to get a clean deal with a good price. It was possible before covid era but post covid prices of the resale cars have gone too high. All online platforms are flooded with the dealers. But loved this series keep up the good work.
Hi Pranay, I think you should do a video about the Financial Blunders that you have made and the valuable lessons learned. I'm learning a lot about Credit cards, Buying in general from your videos keep up awesome work.
Pranay ji, your valuation method is correct but unfortunately no used car, atleast in the luxury segment, is avaliable at this valuation anywhere in India. If one gets such a deal, the car would be accidental. I have observed this in the last two years. No car is even put up for sale at atleast 15% depreciation per year (written down value ) atleast in the luxury segment and even after heavy negotiations, one wont get such a deal for a non-accidental car with full service records. I would like to know your experience regarding the luxury segment though.
Would love an episode on second hand Innova! From my approach, it is a very demand driven market. Heard that its value is decided per the year of manufacture and it’s convenient pricing strategy. Like 2015 model - 15 lakhs; 2016 model - 16 lakhs and so on. Eager to hear your analysis!
Well probably when Tata Nexon got introduced in the Indian market inorder to capture the full throne and in SUV segmentation it just boomed not only Asian Automotive industry but the entire Geographic periphery of Latin America as well
I believe you should work on an episode where you address the inflated market of pre-owned vehicles, while there is a surplus in new inventory. There are so many players coming making big bucks from the pre-owned vehicles sold at a huge premium because the buyer doesn't know better
Pranay, do cover good used diesel cars which are fun to drive for people outside Delhi. Since there are very limited options for a diesel in the market today, that would be really helpful.
Hey! I would like to know about the cars which are the best value for money. I mean that we have multiple variants for a car, so in that which variant you would suggest which is best value for money car
I've been trying to buy a Skoda Octavia for the past six months, but the prices are too high in Bangalore and most parts of Karnataka due to high taxes. Would you suggest me buying the car from a neighboring state and registering it in Bangalore? I'm interested in a 2017-2023 model and feel a bit stuck. It would be really helpful if you could make a video covering Karnataka or South Indian states as a reference.
Hey Pranay, love your work specially the details around calculating the value of a used car. I am looking for a used car myself and I love the Honda civic but i am a little skeptical now since its been discontinued. What is your take on buying a discontinued car and what do you think should be a value for money deal for a 2019-20 vx/zx honda civic under 50k km? Thanks
If i plan to keep the car for it's entire life (15 years with low running) does it make more sense to buy new to not get unexpected surprises down the line?

Can I get some insights on the Hyundai Elantra diesel (2017 and above)? I'm from Hyderabad, and one of my main considerations is mileage. However, I only drive the car about 60% of the time, as it's not always in my hands. I'm contemplating downgrading to sedans like the Verna or City. How feasible is it to move down from an Elantra or Corolla to this class of sedans? I'm looking for a premium sedan experience, so any suggestions would be appreciated. While the Elantra isn't a firm decision, I prefer older models as I find their designs more appealing than the modern ones. Also, I’m a bit hesitant to let my family or friends drive my car, so I'm considering that in my decision too.

The Nexon variants you compared are way too different. They had about 64 variants in the pre-facelift version. The HS variant was their 2nd top variant which costed about 13.5L OTR in Mumbai in 2022. Also, I bought one (top variant) in Dec 2022 and Tata did not have any discounts on offer on Nexon, at least in Dec 2022.
Hi, I've booked 3XO AX5 and its been 2 weeks. Expected delivery date is in November last week. But I've found a good condition verna 2019 1.6 petrol at 7.2 lakhs.. driven less than 30k km. Would it be wise to go for it by ditching 3XO? If no, why? I have 50:50 city highway drive.
