- Hey everyone, it's EverythingeeB here! Today I am going to be doing a speed test with Windows 10 Pro vs LTSC 2021. The results are quite surprising, at least for me. After almost a month of delays, this video is finally being released, so I hope it does well, since it took quite a bit of work to make.

I just reinstalled windows 10 yesterday. replace 10 Pro N with 10 LTSC. the time booting difference is insane! LTSC is much faster plus it had no bloatware preinstalled in it
Yeah I really like LTSC I think it's a lot better than stock Windows 10

My HDD usage went from 100% all the time to 2%. LTSC is amazing.

LTSC is what windows 10 pro should’ve been.
Wow that was a blowout! LTSC is one reason why I don't buy computers with the OS pre-installed
Personally I just take the time to wipe the OS that comes pre-installed from the system using a USB drive

Those results are nice but they have nothing to to with why I prefer LTSC. LTSC is the OS most people should get because of the useless annoying crap that's missing in it and the lack of telemetry and "feature" updates.
I will say that most of the stuff that comes with Windows 10 is pretty useless, however LTSC isn't "free" of telemetry. It still has the standard telemetry that would come with the base Windows 10, Microsoft hasn't disabled it.
@@EverythingeeB Are you saying this is true AFTER setting telemetry to "0" in Group Policy? I don't think the consumer versions of 10 allow you to set it lower than "1" but LTSC does.

LTSC is just less memory or processor usage. I'm defo gonna try it on my new pc because apparently microsoft's updates on 10 just nag you to upgrade to 11. That's a no go for me. I guess ltsc is.

Ltsc/ltsb/iot are good for lower resource demand and better integer performance on CPU, but down side is it will hold back your gaming experience because big GPU require constant caching and data flow and therefore normal windows 10 with higher ram usage are better for AI and ray tracing.

I think on the speed test it depends on who started before even if we are talking about milliseconds since it took the most network bandth and the other had to adapt with the remaining

some questions regarding LTSC builds:
I know ws store is not there in LTSC
But what about app Installer app
which allows installing ws store via app installer file like normal exe file
can we do that?
If I recall correctly there is a method for getting Windows store on LTSC. Might make a video on that
LTSC doesn't have Microsoft Store, which makes .appx files useless.
If you really wanted to use the store, you might as well use winget from the power shell terminal. You can grab everything from the store without actually using it :)

I'm sure that even LTSC has some bloatware left, but once the mainline versions come to an end around October 2025, many who don't want to get Windows 11 will either be making a switch to a new OS, or will go straight for LTSC. Thankfully it'll be functional until 2032 (unless Microsoft wants to pull the plug earlier) and some will make the needed changes to debloat even this version.
It's a great video. Only this is a very difficult license. That's why you want to compare W10 Enterprise vs W10 Enterprise LTSC 2021. W10 Enterprise is activated with KMS at the university I read. Here is the obvious difference between the two? At least I want to see it as a test.

@@EverythingeeB Can you compare or test Windows 10 Enterprise(Standard) with Windows 10 LTSC 2021? Because LTSC is very difficult to activate..The University I'm studying has KMS Bachelor but it's for Standard Windows 10 Enterprise..I want to see the difference in quality with LTSC.
@@serkanbeyaz7901 LTSC is very easy to activate with MAS HWID. MS doesn't want to sell this OS to consumers because it's superior and no adware with long support.

"Debloated" windows is unstable and insecure trash.
Just use LTSC.
@@MIOG_MIOGYou're right. A few days ago I was uninstalling all the Bloatware from Windows 10 pro and then the system crashed and I had to format and reinstall Windows again 🙄 LTSC is much better than pro because it is lighter and faster and does not have all that crap installed that we do not use.
I‘ll get the LTSC version of Windows 10 when support ends for Pro version in October of 2025, for now I’ll just live with 10 Pro.

LTSC 2019 is based on Windows 10 1809 and LTSC 2021 is based on Windows 10 21H2, LTSC 2024 will be based on Windows 11 24H2.
Why doesn't LTSC 2024 have another version for Windows 10 22H2? Microsoft should seperate Windows 11 LTSC and Windows 10 LTSC

You can if you are Enterprise, Business or an OEM contracted with Microsoft. Of you do not follow any of this, you just can't.
I install Win 10 Enterprise (most feature rich) and then gutting it to less than ltsc.
LTSC is a version of Enterprise. The only difference is it only gets security updates

To analyze it, using other OS. If it still hang maybe the problem is the hardware like RAM, VGA card, or pci / pcie card like soundcard, lancard, or usb card...

Well, in short, I understand that Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 LTSC v21H2 are no different from each other, except for the lack of built-in applications in Windows 10 LTSC. I really don't know whether to stay on Windows 8.1 or switch to LTSC :\

Recently upgraded from a GTX 970 to RTX 3080.. to discover it wasn't supported by my beloved long running Windows 8.1 period. Except Windows 7 is lol. So I am in the same boat now, basically being forced to finally change to Windows 10, glad I discovered LTSC. I'm hoping it isn't noticeably terrible of a change
