interesting comparison, thx a lot... @0:31 you may discover the great difference between both.. the iPhone plus adapter has so big distortions that the result actually are unusable, also after photoshopping - due to the loss of sharpness etc. additionally I think that lenses / combos have to be compared with equal parameters, e.g. focal length. ...at the end the iPhone combo just is an super ultra wide angle , meanwhile the Sirui produces really better cinematic pictures with nicer fore/background separation. 👍👍👍👍

I feel that iPhone has too much processing for cinematic work. It looks great if you make home movies with your family or vacation videos. Dolby vision and 60fps looks amazing for such stuff. However for the cinematic look then an android phone with motioncam pro has the best look.
Unlike Filmic Pro, the Cinema P3 Camera Pro application has the ability not only to correct the aspect ratio of the image, but also to correct distortion. The picture taken is already better. And in my experience with mobile anamorphs, Moondog Labs 1.33x gives the best picture.
@@anywhomusic Here’s a quote from Moondog Labs website: “After rigorous testing, here are the answers to FAQs regarding using your iPhone 14 with Moondog Labs gear. Our tests were done on iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max: CAN I USE MY 1.33X MOONDOG LABS - BAYONET MOUNT LENS ON MY IPHONE 14 PRO? Yes! By utilizing a Moment's Case and 3D printed lens mount, you'll be able to use your favorite anamorphic lens on your iPhone 14 Pro. You can also use our Filter Mount with two ND filters stacked.” I might add that the bayonet lens also attaches perfectly to the SmallRig bayonet plate.
@@quietboysince59 Yeah, I read that statement earlier. However, since it says you need to use a Moment case and a 3d printed mount (unsure which mount they are referring to with this),I question the accuracy because I know that the Moment brand lenses don’t actually work despite the company saying they do. On iPhone 14 Pro Max, The Moment lenses have an unintended vignetting affect that the company is denying/avoiding despite being made very clear in review videos. So I’m wondering if it’s a similar thing with Moondog, considering they say you need to use a Moment case. I was wondering if you had first hand experience using the 1.33x Moondog on an iPhone 14 pro max. Because that’s the subject of the video you commented on. So have you yourself used the bayonet mount 1.33x Moondog on iPhone 14 Pro Max?
@@anywhomusic This video is not just about 14 Pro Max. It is also about the too different quality of images and optical effects obtained with different anamorphs. I shoot with an iPhone 13 Pro Max and I thought it necessary to add to this video about what I consider to be a better lens and a more convenient video app.
How did you like the shots from iPhone and Freewell Sherpa Cinemorphic lens?

Will you make a comparison between 14 pro vs s23u camera ?
Cause i really like the way you compare both of them
When I get my hands on 23 ultra - very likely
@@NOlimitsON i can't wait to watch it 🙌🏽
What did you set the active steady shot focal length to for the 35 mm ? I would love to see you do a handheld video with the Siri Saturn carbon 35mm.
