tysm. i literally asked for you to make a video like this in your discord just yesterday and here it is now. youre so nice for that
Could you send me his discord link
No problem 😊
Brilliant.Surprised no one else has done this. One of your best videos. Clear and concise. One to keep forever for reference. Thanks.
Thank you so much!
Emanuel in the machine room , great 😊 👍
Ohhhhh, we got so many more we use regularly :D
Might have to include a couple from time to time :D
Love the format of this video. Great teaching
This is what I've been waiting for. Awesome!!! Thank you, sir!!
Awesome video!!! Thank you so much. I can't wait for the complete tutorial that you mentioned.
Thank you. Much appreciated. Always helping us, and improve our understanding in an immersive, clear and comise manner.
Thank you for a fantastic tutorial. This is such an incredible addon!
Maaan, i remember flying those Vueling A320 so much when i went to La Palma on vacation. Loved it!
Great video as well!
Love that new Fenix update too! The GSX integration seems nice too!
This is absolutely amazing!❤
I love these types of videos keep it up ❤
More to come!
Wow, this is an amazing video, many thanks very realistic ops I'm taking notes step by step
Great video!! I wish someone would take your flows and put them into a checklist. Thanks for doing this!
This was a great video really enjoyed it
Great video! Thanks very much!
Really interesting - many thanks!
As someone who are trying to learn the A320 i'm waiting eagerly for the ''virtual type rating'' style tutorial on the bus.
Danke !
Just what I needed :)
So amazing how all the prep and setup is longer than the flight itself. As a pilot does that become frustrating when doing short haul? Almost more valuable to fly for longer! But I guess as they say “failing to plan is planning to fail.” Thanks for another great video 🎉
Hi, that really doesn't matter much. It's your job to do those flights, no matter how long or short they are.
@@A330Driver thank you. Such a modest and professional response.
Impeccable
Great Flight : just love your cold & Dark starts always to the book
would be great to see you again in the FBY very soon
Thank you! I might just do another FBW vs Fenix comparison video soon after flying the Fenix for a while now.
Hi Emmanuel
Already looking forward to this comparison from your point of view can’t wait 👨✈️
Great video, i would like to know more about secondary fpln and engine out and what you did on minute 44:15 with it. thanks
Thank you! I love this. I NEED this. I suck so much in learning by myself how to do these things, I need some sort of guide, so I highly appreciate these videos.
You said you were planning on doing a tutorial per se later on. Will you do one on the PMDG 737 as well?
The 737 tutorials were what made the channel big in first place. Just go on the channels main page and search the playlists. There should be a couple hundret videos in the PMDG 737 playlist ;-)
@@A330Driver Dankee
Hello Emanuel! many thanks for sharing so much knowledge with the community. Would it be possible to make a short video showing how would the procedure be in case of an engine failure after take off and how to activate the sec. flight plan? :-)
I think I would be very worried if my captain stated simply that there were A LOT of first officers on the flight deck 😅 Seriously though, great video! I mostly fly the Fenix A320 and your videos have really helped me up my process and the realism of my siming
Hi Emanuel, could you make a video where you explain the RAAS system, and do you recommend the fs2crew add on ?
Any update when the "full" tutorial will come online?
What was providing the RAAS audio for you? Is this a aspect of Fenix v2 I have not discovered yet or a seperate application?
Great video as always. When you insert the EOSID you insert sometimes X1/X2/X3.. Why you call 1/2/3 and not always 1 for exemple? Maybe for the runway HDG? 0/199 1, 200/299 2 and 300/360 3?
Hi, I'll have a video coming up soon where I'll explain all this. It's already in pre-release state for channel members to watch.
I'm struggling with the rudder pedals. I have a Saitek X52 and when I turn the joystick, the Airbus turns just a little, but it is not enough to maintain the taxiway line. I've read about this v2, but I don't really understand what I need to do to make this work correctly. When I click on the news spot, close to the pedals, they don't move at all.
How do you get your trip wind to work? Whenever I type in the correct format of HD- - - or TL- - - it always says invalid entry but when I do it in the FBW a320 it works just fine
Hi Emanuel, could you please make a video explaining why performance calculation sometimes recommending flaps 2 / 3 takeoff and when properly to use this? Thank you In advance
Hi, I hope todays video covers it ;-)
@@A330Driver thanks Emanuel! Amazing video and explanation as always
Great video as always.
I really really wish msfs would do something about the glideslopes always bringing in people too high. It’s ridiculous it’s still like that.
So many people are always saying they float the landing, I honestly think it’s because the glideslopes are all wrong, you can always see that the 50ft call is always way beyond the threshold.
Incorrect glideslopes and PAPIs are certainly a big issue in MSFS. Unfortunately too many people just seem to accept that "their skills" are too bad rather than questioning the logic behind the sim.
In the real world it is so, so, so much easier to make a perfect landing than in the sim and this is surely one of the issues. Without a stable appraoch there will never be a stable landing.
@@A330Driver Yes. Once I get to the last couple of hundred feet, I always fly 3 reds. It annoys me that it looks unrealistic but I find it gives me a much more accurate approach and leads to easier landings.
Thanks for the vid. Q. What does the AOC FLIGHT INIT do / used for?
It initializes your ACARS for any further operation thereafter.
Also what’s the addon that says “approaching runway xx”? I like that!
Hi, that's RAAS from FS2Crew.
@@A330Driver amazing thanks! Reckon it’s worth it?
Hello! What supplement do you use to make your airports so detailed? Thank you!
I tend to use addon airports for all airports I fly to. It's not a single addon making them all look that good but individual ones for each airport.
Please def do this as a tutorial Emanuel
I will do that soon!
Hey! The 1200m remaining callout… Is it new since the V2B2 in the fenix?
Hi, that's RAAS from FS2Crew. A seperate addon.
Emanuel, I just love your videos. Not only do I learn from you but I also love your sense of humour. I would just love to be on one of your real life flights. My daughter is cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic and recently flew with her to LA and back and was treated to a cockpit tour of the 787 at LHR. Amazing. Also Georgina was 28 years old and buttered the landing. Such confidence. Anyway mate, keep up posting the vids. All the best Steve
Why do you prefer Conf_3 landings over full. I had the impression you use Conf_3 at turbulance and or windshear
Hi, I'll have a video coming up soon where I'll explain all this. It's already in pre-release state for channel members to watch.
Could someone explain what is happening after he copied the original f-pln to the secondary one ?
during take off irl do you need to do as much rudder adjusments as you do in sim aircraft ?
Not at all, it's much easier to keep a plane on the centerline in real life than it is in the sim.
The primary problem I have with all airliners in the game is the 45 minutes of dicking around on the ground before the flight. Yet I can hop in a Vision Jet or a Honda Jet and be ready to taxi in five minutes from cold and dark.
Well a Visionjet or Hondajet is quite a simple plane compared with an airliner, isn't it?
Also they're often flown by low hour pilots like private owners, thus the manufacturers wnat to make things as simple as possible while airliners are flown by professionals who do a LOT more hours. You can easily give those people more options to optimize the flight without the risk of a messup like you'd have with people doing ten flights a year.
What program are you using to announce runway distance?
RAAS by FS2Crew
If you don't need the fuel pumps on to start the APU, how is fuel pumped to the APU?
Well, don't underestimate the complexity of a modern airliner. Just because the AC fuel pumps are turned off that doesn't mean there are no DC fuel pumps build into any system, like the APU.
@@A330Driver as an APU doesn't have a fuel pump within the APU assy, presumably this is in one of the tanks? I take it the pump must be activated when the APU is switch on and off if there is no actually APU fuel pump on/off master switch on the overhead panel?
where did you get that livery?
flightsim.to
How many euros does the fenix a320 cost because i didnt find it anywhere
I think it's around 58 EUR.
What happens in case of an AOG for pilot ?
Completly depends on the situation. You either go home, wait for a replacement plane, get send home as a passenger (with your own or another airline) or get send to the hotel. So many options, the airline will decide which works best.
The waste bin in cockpit says no cigarettes 😮 surely it’s been forever for smoking to be banned in cockpits 😂
hahaha, well, I haven't seem any such sticker in any of the busses I fly.
Okay the Spanish makes it! 😂
You're kinda crazy but you're cool 😄
😂😂😂
3:55 the cargo seems rather low actually..... 15kg/person is not a lot...
It's more than most real flights would carry already. I made a topic on how much cargo is actually realistic a while ago, I can really recommend to check that out.
Simmers tend to think all passengers would carry a 23kg bag... even simbrief does. But that's just not realistic at all, especially for non-holiday flights. On many cityflights we only carried a couple hundret kilos in the holds.
@@A330Driver i will! Thanks for recommending, hadn't noticed it until now. I think the estimates I do come from my experience flying to go on vacation or my parents' business trips which were in the majority more than 2 days. Sure the latter doesn't necessarily require 15kg but more than 7.5kg and the former you usually make usage of the 20-23kg you have available.
Question: where is the carry on included. In payload or in the passengers' weight estimates?
Because the simbrief estimate feels rather high if it was only for body weight not including carry on
Nailing centerlines is almost impossible with any wind. You may nail it every once and a while but holding it after is a !@#$%.
Yep, it's just really hard using home hardware. Real aircraft are so much easier to control!
Found it. Sorry. No need to reply. Thanks.
?
No problem 😊
the fenix a320 sucks so much it's so buggy and idk why it gets so much praise the PMDG 737 is way better and i never have any issues with it.
